Walt came out to my home, looked over the job and gave me a quote. We sat a date and the crew showed up on time and went to work. They had both trees down in less than three hours. Great Service from Start to Finish! I recently hired Walt's Tree and Stump to handle some tree trimming and removal at my house in Yorktown, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of service they provided. It went well. Walt asked me if I wanted any of the wood (cedar), and he had it cut into lengths to fit a fire ring or fire place. They also cleaned the area up well.

Walt and his crew were very professional from the moment he stopped by to inspect and give us the quote all the way to when our transaction concluded. The trees look very good. All the branches that were bothering us were removed. They were timely, professional, and within the time limits they estimated to us. There was even a moment where an issue occurred and our gate came off our fence. It wasnt that bad, but the fact that they helped me get it fixed spoke volumes about customer service to me. They cleaned up thoroughly and we now have a lot more peace of mind about our large trees. I honestly can't stop looking at them. I highly recommend them and will call them for all our tree needs again!

Walt came out the day I called to give me a quote for the work we needed done. We had several weather delays, but Walt stayed in touch to keep me informed of his plans. Once there was a sufficient break in the weather for his crew to operate safely, Walt and his men came to do the work. Before starting, Walt reviewed the plan with me one more time to make sure they were removing the right trees and limbs. We had a large section of a tree growing toward our house with several of the branches touching the corner of the house. Any section that could possibly hit our house, our fence, or the neighbor’s work shed was tied off before the cutting began, and then guided safely to the ground after it was removed from the tree. They worked safely as a team to make sure the work was done well and without any damage to the buildings or fence. Once all of the limbs and tree sections had been removed, they cleaned up all of the leaves and small limbs that had fallen in the yard. After they were done, Walt reviewed the work with me to make sure they had done all that I was expecting. It was a very professional job and I highly recommend them.

Walt and his crew pruned trees in the front and back of our house. During the operation it rained for a short while but the crew pressed on. When finished, they cleaned up and Walt asked me to check to see if I was happy with the results. I told him I was very happy. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job.

Walt came out to quote the job the day after I called. Then his team showed up on the appointed day on time and ready to work. They did a great job. I was very pleased. They tied off everything and made sure that each piece fell as planned. They cut the pieces into lengths we could work with to turn into fire wood. They were very careful about setting pieces on the roof and then lowering to the ground.

We had a tree that was dying on the side of our house and very close to power lines. After doing some reading and research we called Walt, we was able to come out and give us a reasonable price. Also kept every time provided. When they came out, as a bonus, the gentleman when working seemed to be enjoying there work. Completed the work, and trimmed up a few extra trees at the same time. Over all very appreciated work, and experience, we will be back!

The crew trimmed all the tree branches we discussed plus enough others to make the trees look their best without an increase to the agreed upon price. They did a good job cleaning up the yard and street. The crew wore appropriate safety gear. My observations were that safety was important to the foreman and the crew. All changes were discussed with me beforehand and the foreman got my concurrence before moving on to the next tree. The job went very well.

Walt came out the same day I called to look at the job. We walked the property w/him to identify all of the work that had to be accomplished. We were comfortable with his price and knowledge so we signed a contract to have the work done the following week. He kept me updated via text because the weather was iffy but they were able to start on the day we scheduled. The project went very well; crew was on-site and ready to go at 8 am and worked through until late afternoon when everything was done. They did a very good job of cleaning up and were mindful of my sprinkler system. We were happy with the work and would hire again.

Walt's crew was prompt, courteous and efficient, taking great care not to damage nearby landscaping or structures. Did the job quickly, hauled away all debris and cleaned up behind themselves. Price was great and Walt was very responsive throughout the process. Would definitely hire again.

He was able to perform the job while I was at work. I came home and the backyard looked great! He hauled away all the debris from the tree as well.

Very pleased. Called in the afternoon one day and job was completed the next morning by 10:30. Cleaned up and removed debris. Was not an easy job but did it with no further damage to building. Obviously they knew what they were doing. Even took down a couple other branches to reduce the chances of damage later on.
