Scheduled a time and then he didn't show up. Heard back a few days later with the excuse he had decided to go to Florida and forgotten about it. He set a few more times and never showed up, luckily Angie's List stepped in and gave me a refund. Great customer service from Angie's List but don't rely on this provider.

The job was not completed. I was supposed to get 16 hours of painting, handyman drywall repair. I only received 4 hours of drywall repair, no one came back to complete and I couldn't get a hold of him. After many attempts to contact I gave up because I work out of town and had to leave. I would like a refund or credit please. Please contact me

Crappy. Angie's list took my money and when the contractor never showed up or returned calls, Angie's list said it was past the refund date. The only option offered by Angie's list was to pay MORE MONEY for a new contractor and hope that one shows up. That's a hard pass. I'll just go to thumb tack. They don't take my money for services that never happen or charge me an annual service fee for that 'privilege'.

It was fair. Took a little while for them to come out. At least a month. Price was great. Just they need supervision. The work considered over four to five days to complete. Between one to three workers.

provided 3 preliminary dates the service provider missed getting back to us on any of those. I have been chasing behind him for four months. I finally got a hold of him again in Jan and he asked us to resend info on what we wanted and I then didn't hear back after a week I reached out again and he asked to get our contact info again. something another week goes by and i heard nothing each time that I did hear from him because I initiated the call.

WISH I TELL YOU HOW IT WENT; HOWEVER, I PURCHASED THIS PLAN JANUARY 5, 2017 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR DEREK THE TECHNICIAN WITH WARNER HOME IMPROVEMENTS TO COMPLETE THE WORK. After 3-weeks of calling, texting and emailing him, he finally picked up my call. He ask that I text him my address and photos of the work to be done and would get back with me. I texted him the address and explained that my phone would not let me send the photos but I explained to him in detail what I needed done. It took several more calls to get him back on the phone again to schedule the appointment. We finally set an appointment for 2/11/17 as he stated he would be out of town and could not get to me until then. The appointment time was for 9am. Derek was a NO SHOW. I waited until after 10:20am before calling him to see if he was still coming. Of course, I could not get him on the phone so I left him a voice message and I also followed that up with a text. He finally texted me back about 12:30pm, with sorry, I forgot to put you on my calendar and asked if I was free on tomorrow. I sent him a text back stating that yes, I will make myself available from 12pm – 2pm, please confirm this time. I got No response back from Derek. I called and texted him again on Monday 2/13/17 advising that I would be working from home on Tuesday and would be available all day and I asked him to please respond. He did not respond. I tried contacting him again on 2/17/17, left him another voice message and sent him a follow up text. I am still waiting on a response. I would NEVER recommend this company for any services. I am thankful that this was a small inexpensive job because I allowed him to make the repair appointment outside of the 30 Day Refund Guarantee window so now I cannot get my money back even though the work was NEVER DONE! WARNING TO ALL - MAKE SURE YOU ARE MINDFUL OF THE 30 DAYS REFUND WINDOW. Hope you find this review helpful.

They were to sand and finish a sheet rock job. I had a terrible time getting them to come out and return my phone calls. I finally gave up on them and I am going to hire someone else.

Well they were supposed to come back, but the day before they came I got sick. So I just felt that I would wait until after the holidays to call them back because they gave me 4 hours worth of work, but they owe me 4 hours. The owner came out and another guy and they both worked 2 hours each. I would have like them to stay longer, but they had another appointment. Now, we are just trying to synchronize our schedules. <br /> <br /> The only reason they didn't get an A is because they didn't stay they entire time, if they had stayed for the other 4 hours that would have been great, because I was free the rest of the day.  And really it would have only been 2 extra hours because it would have been 2 guys that had been working. I wasn't upset about it, it's just I would have liked to get it done. They were prompt, they were very personable, they were very agreeable to most of the things, they seemed very knowledgeable about those things. There are no real adverse situation that occurred. The only thing that I think could have done better is that it got done that day. Trying to get a timely response is a situation also. I haven't had any complaints about responsive. One time I had to actually call Angie's List to get a hold of them, because I wasn't getting a response. I would expect within 3 days I would get a response. They were here on time. <br />

I think I wanted him to repair a crack in the ceiling where there was a skylight. Spackle and paint it. I had many things done to the house because I was preparing it for sale. I was very pleased with them! $250 is for he charged me in the end. For the window and a couple other minor things around the house. <br /> <br /> Very satisfied! He was on time and fast about his chores. I wish it had been a little cheaper! Quick and professional. He did exactly what I asked him to do, I didn?t have to coach him or explain too much. If I remember correctly, the fellow doing the repairs wasn?t very talkative. So, I didn?t really have any interaction with him except to show him where the work was to be done and he did it. The workman was very tall, pretty quiet, did his work quickly and got out.

He arrived on time. 1st job to remove shower door frame. I was in the hall and heard a bunch of crashing. When he went to remove the shower door frame, it pulled the tile off the wall. Although I don't blame him for that at all. I had removed one in another shower that also had tile and it didn't happen but when I went in to see what was happening, I told him it was happy it happened but not his fault. He started pulling more tile off the wall and I had to ask him to stop since I wasn't sure what I was going to do about the situation. He did tell me that he could come back another time and fix it. It would take 3 days and cost $500-$600 to repair the 2ft/2ft section. I said I would have to process the situation since I wasn't expecting to have a big repair at this time. I then said to move on to the light fixture and re-caulking. Recaulking was not done well and still showing old caulking in places that he didn't cover with the new caulk. I came in to the bathroom to see the light and I noticed it was not attached to the wall properly but hanging forward away from the wall and said that wasn't ok, that I didn't want to have to fix it when he left or have it fall off. He got defensive and said it wouldn't. I said I was paying him for a service and I'd like him to do it the correct way...he then said well i'm going to have to take the time to remove it and then push the electrical parts further back, I said "yes please" take the time to do it correctly. He then asked if I had a ladder. He also asked me for a screw driver. He said he had them in the car but if I had the close by he would rather use mine. he fixed the light. then then next job was to install a new dimmer switch in the kitchen. I was starting to feel uncomfortable with his workman ship and the purchase I had made at that point. he started the light switch and when pulled it out of the product box said it was defective and would have to go exchange it for another. I didn't know what to say and was starting to wonder if that was even true. He was gone and hour and a half came back grumbling about how he had to wait inline and find the right switch etc. I tried to ignore it and he worked on the light switch. At that point, I didn't want him doing anything else. I had asked him to paint a dinning room (top half of the walls) but at that point didn't want him making that a mess or having to re-paint it. I am a single mom and have done many home DIY projects, I'm not an idiot. I could have done all these projects have little time and little extra money. I was thrilled to have him coming and called him to remind him a few times and sent him 2 texts with the specifics of the jobs on my list so he would be prepared. I was uncomfortable (I did not feel threatened) just not sure how I was going to tell him I didn't want him to complete my list as he was defensive about other items on my list. He told me I could use any extra hours towards the repair of the tile so I said I would think about that and have him stop for the day and not paint the dinning room walls. Mind you, I had prepped the walls and removed everything from the room so it would be easy and fast for him. He left after 2 hours of work and 90 minute to Lowes. * after he left, I noticed that he had installed the kitchen dimmer switch upside down so now, I have to redo the toilet caulking and fix the light switch. I don't feel comfortable with him coming back. I sent him a text and said I was going to have someone else come help me repair the shower and I am requesting 4 hours (it was 8 hours for $249) refund. He said he only gets 40% from Angies list total for the 8 hours of $149. I'm not sure where to go from here.

It actually turned out okay. Their solution was better but I actually was a little concerned over there but he came and did the work, and we haven't had any problems with it. One of my concerns was that I felt that they weren't great about really responding in the most professional manner. I called back and expressed some concerns about that, but once I got Angie's List to get in contact with them, it seemed to get the ball rolling so they came and took care of the work in the next couple of weeks. Everything was fine. I purchased 16 hours of work for a 1 or 2 man crew and he ended up bringing a 3-man crew which means we got 5 hours of work. So a couple of projects we wanted to do stretched over 2 days and we were only able to complete about half of what we intended to. The work was good when they settled down to work. I think they should work on their administrative duty as far as responding back to people and get back to them either through paperwork or any type of system in place. It seemed a little unorganized.
