Konrad and his team did an amazing job. From the day I first reached out to have him come and look at the job, he was always on time, highly professional and very thorough and detail oriented with all of the work that was done. Konrad was very responsive to all of my questions and requests for any additional items that needed to be taken care of, and all requests were handled promptly. The transformation that he gave to my house is really unbelievable, I am so pleased with the outcome and proud that our old family house has a new lease on life.

Konrad replaced about 650 sqft of flooring on my first floor. He demoed tile, removed linoleum, replaced baseboards, replaced a toilet, and did some drywall. His work was exceptional, although we weren't able to level the floor since we had no place to put the furniture. I should also mention that he was able to keep dust from tile demolition to a minimum by putting up proper plastic barriers. Konrad is an excellent problem solver and a self-motivated hard worker. He encountered mold and some stubborn vinyl flooring glue that he was able to painstakingly remove. He completed his work timely, on budget, and my wife and I would absolutely hire him again. We've used him on several other projects, one of which was an emergency, and he came through with flying colors.

We love our new home! Konrad and the team at Warsaw did excellent quality work. They are professional, timely, helpful and very reasonably priced. Our new home turned out beautifully and was completed on schedule. I highly recommend them!

Went well, very close to schedule and estimated cost. Konrad and his crew do nice work and make good recommendations if you need ideas. We are very happy with the results.

Konrad and Peter were always punctual, courteous, and kept the work area as clean as possible. Konrad was also easy to get in touch with and was very responsive. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Warsaw does an excellent job. They are reasonable, punctual, and do very high quality work. The only concern is their affiliation with their plumber, Gold Coast. They are absolutely horrible - not thorough, do not tell you anything, complain when their work causes more problems, and will not come back to fix work they messed up even a month later. I would happily use them, and ask for your own plumber or someone other that Gold Coast (Adam) who is utter garbage

Would highly recommend. Received itemized invoices before and after each project. The quality of the work associated with tile and painting cannot be beat. The rooms and kitchen cabinets looked brand new. Will definitely be using them for future projects.

<p>We consulted with several local contractors on Angie's list for a replacement of an older, water damaged 2nd floor deck.  Konrad was the best of the group at explaining his proposed approach to style, materials, timing and cost/price.   Very well handled ahead of time - made my wife and I very comfortable.  He told us it would take up to a week and he could start in next 2-3 weeks.  He was true to his word.  He brought in 3-4 workers and pitched in himself.  Work took 3-4 days.  Professionally done; unobtrusive to us. </p> <p>I don't have the benefit of 2 or 3 years of hindsight on the deck yet but the deck looks great and it solved other water leakage and insulation issues that we hadn't realized were related to the deck.</p> <p>I highly recommend Konrad/Warsaw.</p>

Project went very smoothly. They came on time every day, sealed off area from rest of house to contain dust, and the paint job looks excellent. No paint drips on floor, windows or other surfaces. Worked schedule to minimize disruption, including working on weekend to finish job more quickly.

It went very well. After removing carpets, he contacted us regarding rot on the hardwood floor, replace it.  Since we were not in the home while the remodeling and repairs was underway he effectively kept us informed by e-mails  and pictures.  We would definitely use him again!

OUSTANDING, EXCELLENT, THE BEST.  i cannot say enough good things about Warsaw HI's service.  This was an extensive renovation of an 8,600 sf house and Konrad and his team finished on schedule and under budget, despite some significant engineering challenges and our moving in midway through the process.    Walls were broken for demolition at the end of March, and the project was essentially finished by July 4.  Given the amount of work done, this is simply astonishing and no one I know doing work in the area has had their work done as well and as fast.  My father was a GC, and I have never met a more professional GC than Konrad.  He was true to his word on everything, he never overpromised and he never failed to exceed expectations.  He was prompt in providing a budget, fair and honorable with respect to change orders and the workmanship is beyond meticulous. <br /> <strong>Planning, Budgeting and Staffing</strong>:  From the very first contact, Konrad was thoughtful and careful.  He provided a solid and detailed estimate of the project costs and timing before the final plans were even drawn up and helped in the project planning process with the architect and engineer.  His proposal once the plans were drafted was very detailed and accurate and he did an excellent job explaining the timeline and planning for the demolition and construction.  His team (including all of his Subs) are outstanding and similarly provided top level work.  He also had a veritable army working on multiple projects and did an oustanding job staging the work to speed the project along. <br /> <strong>The Work:</strong>  Warsaw's work consistently is top notch and exhibits attention to detail that is unrivaled.  The quality of the workmanship and materials is first rate.  One example:  Konrad built all of his cabinets from scratch.  I know this because he built them on site, starting from plywood boards for the boxes to the trim and drawers.  His woodworking is the best of his many top level skills.  While building the center island for our kitchen, I saw Konrad standing and staring at the shelves at one end.  I asked what he was doing and he told me he was unhappy with the placement of the 3 vertical dividers because one cubby was 1/8" larger than the other two and he was going to redo it. <br /> Konrad and his team are also problem solvers.  Our house was built in 1944 with additions and renovations in 1980, 1995 and 2000.  This presented a number of engineering issues and unforseen complications as walls and floors were opened up.  None of this slowed the project down and in each case, Konrad provided insightful workarounds or alternatives to accomplish our goals. <br /> <strong>Intangibles  </strong>Konrad and his team are a pleasure to work with and to be around.  This is a critical but overlooked trait.  He and his team were in our house 6 days a week for several months (my 4 yr olds were sad when the workmen stopped coming).  They were pleasant and courteous, and meticulous about clean up.  Konrad has a very good sense of humor and a very calming demeanor.  They are also some of the hardest working people I have ever met.

We have been consistently impressed with the work performed by Warsaw Home Improvement. In the past, we have had problems with contractors who would show up quickly and perform demo, but then disappear for days or weeks. In contrast, Konrad provides a realistic start date, and then arrives on schedule with his crew to work quickly and efficiently to complete the project. His workers protect the floor and surrounding area, and clean up at the end of each day. Konrad provides detailed estimates describing exactly what will be done, and when we have been unsure or changed our minds, he has helped us decide what is possible and feasible within our budget. The quality of the work performed by Warsaw Home Improvement has been top-notch, with great attention to detail. Without a doubt, we would hire Konrad to perform any future home improvement work for us, and can recommend him without hesitation.

It was great.  Konrad first rescued us from another contractor who took a 30,000.00 deposit and six months later still hadn't even applied for a permit to do the work (another ugly story).  Konrad was able to get the estimate to me quickly, and get the permitting process going while starting on the portions of the work that didn't require permits.  He was tactful with a very difficult condo association and handled all the paperwork, permitting, signage, and surprise inspections with ease.  He was helpful and communicated to me immediately when there was a problem or a delay.  Every bill was presented as a portion of my original estimate, so I could see exactly where that week's labor and materials fit into my overall budget and the work's progress.  He would tell me when something I picked or decided didn't necessarily fit with the apartment's aesthetic, and I frequently agreed with him.  When I didn't he happily complied with what I wanted.  He was really a pleasure.

I live on the West Coast and the repairs were being made to a multi-family house on the East coast....... presenting me with a real challenge..... Finding a contractor that I could work with long distance and that I could trust to undertake significant repairs and upgrades to an older building without much supervision.  After getting bids for the first phase of the work from several contractors, I flew East to meet with Konrad, to walk the property and sign the contract. I visited the site only twice after that, despite the fact that the project extended over many months, because I felt confident that Konrad was honest, would do quality work and that his pricing was fair. <br /> <br /> I've had several bad experiences with contractors over the years, but I must say, working with Konrad was an absolute delight because of his professionalism, reliability, responsiveness, and the quality of his work. I would not hesitate to hire him again, or recommend his company to friends and family.

The project was done in a timely manner and was managed with the utmost professionalism.  The work done by Warsaw was excellent, and the subcontractors he works with (electrical, plumbing) were all very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. <br /> <br />

Excellent. Konrad works with you to ensure you are fully satisfied. He stands behind his work and his honest (a rarity in this industry). He is detailed and takes pride in his workmanship. Warsaw Home Improvement has done several jobs in our home, including structural work when building a new master bedroom closet. I have no reason to use another contractor.

We did not want to be around during all the construction, so we met with Konrad to review the project, picked out our wall and cabinet colors, granite, tile and sink, and left him with access to the house while we went on vacation. We came home to a completely transformed kitchen/family room! Everything was done and it looks amazing. <br />
