From beginning to end our experience of updating our kitchen and partial update of our master bathroom was outstanding. Jay Kim was our designer and was out quickly to provide us with a very competitive estimate, was responsive to any questions as well as offering his expertise in helping make selections. John was our on-on-site supervisor and was so easy to work with as was his team and did an excellent job installing as well as cleaning up well at the end of each day. They well protect our existing floors and furniture from dust and damage. another company and it took 6-8 weeks to complete. Jay Kim was in and out of our home 10 working days. Thanks for a fabulous experience.

We are incredibly pleased with our kitchen and master bath remodel from Artistic Contracting can build It. It's always a gamble when picking a contractor, but we felt supported and cared for throughout the journey. We appreciated the respect they had for our time as well as the polite workers from Artistic Contracting. We didn't feel nickel-and-dimed, rather all charges were meticulously discussed and documented, making it easy to understand the costs and where money was going. We also really appreciated the clean up at the end. So often, I've had contractors do a fine job and then be sloppy about cleaning the space after. They were meticulous. Communication was excellent. Quality is amazing. We have been nothing but happy with the work and have lived in it for almost a month with no issues. Highly recommend.

Artistic team was professional and very detail-oriented. They also were punctual and completed the job on-time, and within budget. Price was also very reasonable and better than most quotes. No hidden or extra fees for the work was refreshing. I would definitely call them again for any future repairs and home improvements.

For a job that was suppose to be only one week, it took nearly three months. I kept getting excuse after excuse on the delays. After months of going back and forth, I was able to get some of my money back for the details that I complained about that were never fixed. Besides these hiccups I am overall satisfied with workmanship.

Overall it went well and the work was good. Not great but good. A couple of things got to me though. First, there were 2 instances where they had to cover a mistake and/or redo. The redo was on tile that the chipped while cutting and instead of cutting again, used the chipped tile. They replaced it but only after I complained. Another issue was that they asked for more money after we agreed on a price and they started. The job was completed to my satisfaction so I am happy to overlook a couple of hiccups. However, the issue has now been warranty. I had an issue with a cabinet door bubbling and Washington Bath and the Cabinet maker (ForeverMark) both talk about taking care of issues. I had the work done in April 2018, the issue was noticed in Oct 2018. As of April 2019, there is no resolution. Washington bath has responded and keeps saying they will fix it but nothing. The cabinet maker has not responded to me or to the BBB. So ultimately it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Summary: Washington Bath and Kitchen provided some key updates for our kitchen. We chose WBK to do work under a deal they were offering for granite countertop upgrades that was well within our kitchen size requirements. We added an additional deal from them for backsplash installation to complete the package. We are quite happy with the work but must acknowledge it was not the best road getting there. Detail: After securing the deals on Angie's List, we made an appointment for an estimate. We met Jay who came out to assess the work area. It was all considered very straightforward. In an unrelated issue, Jay helped us confirm that we had a slow leak evident beneath our master bathroom and into the kitchen. We met with Jay and Andy to choose our granite slab. We were quoted additional costs to replace the sink and to reconnect the existing plumbing / garbage disposal. We paid the first 50% and were advised that would be used to purchase and secure our granite selection. From there, we continued the pursuit of repairs for the leak and purchased the backsplash and faucet that WBK would install for us (per the agreement). WBK also provided an estimate for the repair work, when we requested it. Once we had settled on the contractor and timing of the repair work (and had eliminated WBK as an option in the process), we contacted WBK to discuss next steps to plan the countertop and backsplash portion. We were very disappointed to find out that our granite selection was no longer available and no slab had been purchased with our deposit funds. (We took this as an unfortunate lesson learned as we figured out that the signed contract did not include the promise to secure our selection.) We were forced to find another granite option within their provider's warehouse that would match the backsplash/grout as well as the paint and flooring that we'd already selected for the repair work. It was stressful. When the countertop space was initially measured, we were asked about edging selection and chose one (with some help from the WBK representative about what is most common). Long after we were told the new slab would be cut, we were advised that our edging selection was an additional cost per square foot. We backed into a cost-inclusive selection given virtual options. On a positive note, as we made decisions about the kitchen refurbishing and waited for things such as having the countertops cut, we asked WBK about having some shelving installed with what was available from our granite slab. They accommodated this (at an additional cost, of course) and it was immediately worked into our plan. We were also able to have the backsplash installed in a somewhat custom manner (given the square footage covered by the deal) and we were not given a hard time about completing the non-traditional approach. The installation process started out ok in terms of scheduling. What we hadn't realized is that the installation appointment we made with WBK was just for replacing the countertops! It was not communicated to us that the countertop and backsplash work would happen on different days by different installers. This became a bit of a scheduling hiccup because we had already started the other repair work and the teams had to share space in the kitchen when the backsplash was to go in. Fortunately, the other team worked will under this situation. The granite installers were very friendly and helpful. The backsplash team came off as a bit more unpleasant, though only one of the two spoke to us. We did have to reach out to WBK to have them return to fix some minor issues and we were happy that they did that. When there was a slight confusion about the paint being used to patch on the final visit, the installer told me he would not come back if it was incorrect. It was an unpleasant moment as a customer, but I knew there was no issue with the paint and I left the statement unaddressed. Andy advised us that the granite was sealed (and would need to be sealed yearly). He also advised that **we** needed to seal the backsplash. We were surprised this wasn't taken care of or made clear at the start of the project as not included. We were often given short (sometimes an hour's) notice if Jay or Andy wanted to come by during our whole process. We would have preferred advance notice rather than times when only one person happened to be available. From our perspective, it caused everyone to have to do a lot more dialogue and visits in order for us to communicate about details and then circle back to them. At the end of the day, we received what we paid for and it seemed like a good deal even though execution was not well organized.

I hired Kitchen & Bath Depot to remodel the kitchen in my house. The experience working with them is excellent! I am very pleased with the work they did. I highly recommend Bath & Kitchen Depot. Jay Kim, the business owner, was very professional and responsive throughout the process. The estimate was fair and reasonable and the work did not exceed the estimate. It was my first renovation project, and Jay was always patient, no matter how simple my question or concern. The work itself was completed quickly and efficiently, and with excellent quality. I trusted both Jay and his team in my home, even when I couldn’t be there for the entire day’s work. The crew was very respectful of my home and always left everything clean and in order. I had a great experience with Bath & Kitchen Depot, and I would definitely hire them again. I love my new kitchen!

It went very well. Everything was explained in advance. It was clear what was included and what was not. I supplied the materials and I received a list that included what and how much was required. The actual installation was scheduled over two days but only took one. The backsplash looks great and really finishes the look of the kitchen.

Bath and Kitchen Depot completely redid our kitchen. We worked with the project manager, The experience was not only extremely professional it was amazing to watch them in action. It was similar to watching an artist create a masterpiece on a completely blank canvas. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right. They were very upfront and high quality.

Great! Jay and his team took on some complicated work as part of our partial kitchen remodeling while we were in the midst of some other major projects at the house. They did very high quality work at a great price, quickly. Really excellent overall. They were also responsive and flexible and orchestrated work well with other contractors.

Mr. Kim was prompt and punctual and listened to what I wanted as far as my kitchen remodel. However, I had to remind him for several weeks in a row to send the plans. When he finally did, the designs did not include ANY of the design I had wanted. Completely useless, a waste of time and a waste of $50.

First appointment was rescheduled at last minute. It went all down hill from there. I was told that I would receive all drawings in pdf format with estimate. The initial drawings were horrible with no color, details, etc. When I asked for the pdf format and estimate, I was told I would get it in one week. The week went by and I was told excuse after excuse why it was delayed. It’s been 2 plus weeks and still haven’t received the 3D pdf drawings, estimate or courtesy email on lateness. What a waste of time and money.

The team was very cordial and completed the job on time. Subcontractors were used as well but they were all very good. They showed up a little earlier than I would have liked, but since I was home it was not a big issue. For the most part I was pleased. I would definitely use them again

We had Andy Kwon did our home remodel, which included installing new cabinets, Quartz Countertops, plumbing and electrical job including installing electrical mirror in bathroom, floor patching, etc. Andy Kwon did an excellent job and for thousands of dollars much more less than many of their competitors in NOVA area, Andy's partner, Mr. Kim is a great Kitchen designer and helped us to pick out all options that kept everything within our budget. Also, it was perfect timeline to complete the job. My house looks great, and I am pretty sure I would love to recommend this company for my friends.

Waited a long time for the appointment; waited for the person to come to my house on the day of the appointment; he came, measured - nothing. Waited for the "plan" - had to remind him to share it weeks later. When it arrived the "plan" was entirely worthless for my purposes. It contained no measurements, and no design ideas.

"$49 deal design consultation. I️ don’t know why we have “F” grade from you. $49 design deal description as follow: 1. Free design consultation. 2. Provide 3D drawings ( no floor plan) We designed the bathroom based on you idea and also, I mentioned to you there is not much you can do about your bathroom design because It is very straight forward Bathroom and limited space. We delivered what you asked for and we have this grade. This is very unfair grade. Please read the details of $49 design deal that you purchased from Angie’s List."

My experience with Bath & Kitchen Depot was stellar! They did an amazing job throughout the entire process. They created an excellent design and were very flexible in updating it per my requests. Throughout the process, they answered all of my questions in a timely manner, treated my home with respect throughout the renovation process, stuck to the timeline, and was very professional. They provided high-quality work (which includes a warranty) and the pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend them and would use them for another renovation.

The team at Bath & Kitchen Depot provided us with a showroom kitchen and bath that matched our vision. The re-modeled kitchen transformed our house and undoubtedly, added to any potential re-sale value. The project designer Jay, took our description & vision of our new kitchen, and in about 2 hours, provided us an animation 3d of what our kitchen and bath would look like. We were amazed that it matched our vision and far exceeded other contractor renditions. A huge asset to the Bath & Kitchen Depot team is their network of professionals that includes flooring, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. It was very convenient that I only needed to talk to one guy to get the entire job done.

At first it was moving quick, they were organized, we took care of paperwork and made an appointment to pick the granite. Went to the appointment, again very accommodating. Then found out someone else has to come to my house to take some more measurements. Now I admit, I must have messed up their flow of schedule b/c I had told them I would not be available the following week. That's when things seemed to slow down. But I got back in touch with Jay, we got back on track, the job is done and I am very very happy with it!?? Jay was available every time I tried to contact him via text, email or phone. Any questions I had were answered and anything I thought needed fixing he had someone come to my house within 24 hours. Such as, I thought a spot or two was not buffing out to a nice shine. It turns out it was some grout that had to be rubbed out and the gentlemen that showed up were very professional and took care of it and didn't leave until they checked that I was satisfied.

Basically, I was disappointed. The father and son team that came out were very nice, however, I felt the father didn't listen but the son wanted to. While I did get the plans as described in the offer, my concerns about my existing plumbing were dismissed and I felt I was not listened to. After I got the plans, I sent emails and called leaving a message asking if the plans could be reworked to take in account my existing plumbing. I did not receive any response either by email or phone. I was really looking forward to working with this company due to their ratings and comments, but not anymore.

I just checked again our email and I couldn't find your email. We would love to work with you again so please give us a chance to rework your plan and give you an estimate for the basement bathroom project. Thank you and hopefully we can work together in a near future."
