I don’t normally write reviews because most bad experiences I’ve had were due to mis-communication or basically honest errors however this roofing contractor knew from the moment we signed the contract that he had no intention of following through with the agreement. My contract states that I would give half the money down to purchase materials and the balance due upon completion. I gave him the first ½ required and then little by little I was given every excuse imaginable why he couldn’t start the job, why he didn’t feel he needed to do all the work he promised he would do and so on. I tried very hard to deal with his stories while still trying to get at least the amount of work out of him that I had paid for. He guaranteed me he had his own workers to complete the job and that was not true, he subcontracted out the job. He said he was purchasing Gaco roofing that gave me a 30 year warranty when purchased from the manufacturer. He ended up NOT purchasing it from the manufacturer but from other contractors who had extra left over from their jobs, thus negating my manufacturer’s warranty. He claimed he power-washed, scraped and primed the roof and I have since had to pay a new roofing company to analyze the part of the roof he claimed to be completed to find out that none of that was done. in actuality, he rolled the Gaco roofing product right over dirt and grime and rust. I have 2 new leaks where I never had leaks before. His subcontractors are angry with him because he did not pay them and have since pulled all their equipment down and no one has been back on the job or in contact with me. He has taken my money and left my roof in worse condition than before he started. My attorney has sent a letter to return my full payment and I have filed with the courts, placing a judgment against him. I am doing this to prevent him from STEALING anyone else’s money. I would not contract with anyone from W.W. Roofing, Roof Magnificent, Waterwitch roofing, Frank Mauro Construction, Supreme Class Roofing and 69 Waterwitch Roofing. As you can see he apparently keeps opening up under new business names, but they are all located at 69 Waterwitch Avenue, Highlands, NJ. BEWARE OF FRANK MAURO.

I was very impressed by the team at Waterwitch Roofing. They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. I was highly satisfied with the work they did on my roof. If you are looking for a roofer in the area definitely give them a call.

Frank Mauro Construction did a magnificent job, scaling the tower and replacing a roof that has not been repaired in many years. The crew was fast, efficient and the price was more than reasonable.

I noticed a slight leak last year, he sent someone out and the team hasnt been good. They said it wasn't due to the roof, the source of the problem is the roof.

<p>I had a bad experience with them. He was trying to intimidate me physically. First of all he did not want to show up on time after I gave him a 50-percent deposit three weeks ahead of the job, which he wanted. I called him a day before to ask him if he was going to be there. He explained that he would be there in the morning. He did show up and did the job. He did call me at the end of the day and said he wanted the rest of the money. I said I wanted to come to review the job and I would write him a check in two or three days. He began screaming that he needed the money now. I did not even have a chance to even see the job. I told him I had to see the job and then I would give him the money. I went probably the day after to see the job and saw some things that needed to be fixed. I called him again and he told me he wanted me to meet him there. I did not want to meet him but told him what needed to be fixed. He told me he was going to fix it the next day or whenever it was. Again, I got the same story. He asked why I was not there while he was fixing it like I wanted. Then I came back to meet him at the job site to make sure the job was alright with me. He showed up and I found a few more things to fix but then he came out and said he wanted the money now. He was not too nice about it. I did not pay him the money until he fixed it and then I paid him after I fixed it. It is not even about the job it is about his professionalism and trying to intimidate people. </p>

I recently needed to have additional work done on my home and when I went to the township I was informed that there was an open permit from Roof Magnificent that had not been paid and needed to be settled before I could do anything else. I paid for the permit and called Frank at Roof Magnificent that day. I left a message and received no call back. I called again the following week and once again....no call back. A 3rd call resulted in the same result. I take back my rating and recommendation. Do not use this company!

The first night of the project, I asked Frank to cover the roof because it was supposed to rain overnight. He told me it wouldn't be an issue, due to a layer of something they had applied to the roof. That night, of course it rained, and my attic began to leak. I called Frank, and he never picked up the phone. The next day, when the crew came to complete the job, I brought the damage from the rain up to the operations manager/Frank's nephew. He began using abusive, foul language, and claimed that the water damage wasn't damage at all. They completed the work, but after three months, some of the shingles above the garage came off, due to not being attached correctly. I called and was informed they would have someone out to come look. Nobody ever came. Over the several months that followed, I repeatedly attempted to reach out to them. Still, nobody ever came. I finally was able to speak with someone in the office and spoke with Beverly. She told me Pete, the new operations manager, would call me back. He did, and said he would send someone out. He didn't. I called again a few weeks later, expecting to speak again with Beverly, but Pete answered the phone, telling me that he fired Beverly, and also that he had no recollection of speaking with me. I would recommend against ANYONE hiring them in the future. They will not honor their warranty.

Frank Maura and company did a great job replacing my roof last summer. This week they installed the drip edge. Frank is a professional who really cares about doing things right and having satisfied customers. He will make sure you are happy! <br />

After meeting with Mr. Mauro and recieving an estimate, we hired him to put a new roof on our home. Mr. Mauro was very professional, his crew arrived when we were told they would. the crew was very respectful of our house and property and left it as they found it, no debris or damage. The men did as we had hired them to do and did so in a timely manner finishing the job in one day. we were very satisfied. <br />

They were a very profession crew.  They showed up as schedule.  The price was as had been quoted with no problems.  They did a nice and clean job.   They made sure to protect my shrubs which I was concerned about.  The new roof looks great.  I would recommend their services.  The job was completed in 2 days.   <br />

He did a great job, and I would recommend him to anyone.

The roof is just beautiful. We never had a single leak and am so satisfied.
