Mr Welles called me back after second call, a few days after initial call. he came out on day we agreed on 2 days later. I left a detailed note as he was only there when no one was home. He replaced the breakers w / old but functioning breakers (they don't make them anymore). He took care of the immediate problem and did take a brief look at 2 bathroom light fixtures and discussed the problem of our pool light shorting out every time we turned it on. He suggested that we have the pool company recheck the light fixture which would require pool being emptied a good bit. When we asked if he could help us find outside electrical circuit servicing pool light, he briefly looked around and told us it would be more useful if we cleared alot of the overgrowth of bushes to save money it would take for him to labor through (as in clear the clutter before the cleaners come in so they can do their job). As it turned out, we drastically cut back the shrubs and the outside electrical lights only to find the electrical circuit in the small building our heater and pool pump was in. It was blocked from obvious view until we had the defunct heater removed and there the circuit was on the back wall. There was not the in lawn setup we had been told to look for by people before Mr Welles was involved.. We did not pursue the matter of the bathroom fixtures. The main point is that he did take care of the main problem adequately, w/i 4 days of initial phone inquiry. His first hour of service fee seemed high at $150, subsequent hours I believe are $100 /hour. I would recommend him and would use his services in the future.

An outlet wasn't working.  Called and he said he'd be there that day or the next.  Arrived as promised the following day.  Pleasant, efficient and got the outlet working.  Would definitely use him again.

He did a great job and provided pictures of the completed project with his invoice.

Work was done quick and efficient. We could not be happier with his work and professionalism. A definite company I would call again.

The service eventually turned out okay. We had set a time and I took the time off work. He never showed up and never said anything. I called and said that I wanted to cancel. Two days later, he got back to me and said that he could come out on a said date. So, I eventually had him come out. He did a good job but not calling to say he was not coming was not good. The quality of the service seemed to be fine. When he finally showed up, he was punctual.

On the evening of January 14, 2016, a circuit breaker for the electric service to my master bedroom tripped. After removing the bad outlet, and resetting the breaker, there was still no electricity in the bedroom. After finding Mr. Welles on Angie's List I called him at 9:00am on January 15. He arrived at my house within three hours, diagnosed the problem, explained to me in detail what the problem was, replaced the defective outlet and defective circuit breaker. He was done within one hour. He had all the supplies he needed on his truck. He was very professional and neat. <br />

Frank responded to our interest in having an outdoor receptacle installed and did the work within a couple days. He showed up when he said he would, and did the work quickly. We also discussed some additional work we had questions about. We are very pleased..... And now we have an electrician! <br />

Frank was absolutely wonderful! We had an estimate done for work both inside and outside our cottage. My nephew was coming from NY to stay at the cottage with his family. When I told Frank, he offered to split up the work that needed to be done, and fit us in so he could take care of the grounding issues and make the property safe. He completed the second part of the work that needed to be done a couple weeks later when my brother was using the cottage. I would highly recommend Welles Electric and would definitely use them again. <br />

I have tried to contact Mr. Welles on 3 occasions.  First, by e-mail...he responded in a timely way, said the job was something he could do and asked that I call him.  I called him and left  a voice message.  He responded  3+ weeks later with a message that he had had a loss in the family, but was available if I still needed the work done.  I left another message that I did need the work done.  That was more than 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting to hear from him.  I can appreciate that he may have personal issues preventing him from responding, but then he should change his voice mail to indicate that he is not available instead of indicating he will call back soon!
