I did have an issue with the fact the pump was very noisy and it's still noisy. I think this is more about the, not the people but the actual manufacturer.

I've used Wesson Energy for a few years now as a member of the Connecticut Energy Cooperative. The prices are great and the service is responsive and professional. <br /> In September, I noticed that the gauge on my heating oil tank showed that I was a quarter of a tank low. A few days later I received a notice of delivery from Wesson billing me for approximately 175 gallons of oil (about half a tank). I called to ask why, if I was only a quarter of a tank down, I would have needed so much oil. <br /> Wesson sent out a technician to look at the problem. As it turned out, the gauge was wrong (they acquire a later of silt over time that weighs down the floater). Apparently l had looked at the gauge just after the delivery and the tank wasn't registering as full.  <br /> Throughout the course of several phone calls to resolve this problem, representatives for Wesson were courteous and professional.  <br /> P.S. Wesson definitely fixed the problem; the old gauge remained on the tank so I was able to compare the readings on the new and old gauges. The old gauge consistently registers a quarter-tank lower. <br />

They have been my provider for years. I had a furnace issue years ago during the winter when temps were below freezing. They came out to fix it right away.

The guys that came out to do our home energy audit where very professional.  They gave me an overall explanation of what they would be doing and as they did their work they updated me regularly as to what they where about to do next as they completed each part.   They found my boiler was a bit out of spec on the amount of CO2 it was producing and I suggested i have it looked at.  I took them up on getting one of their maintance teams over to look at it and to my surprise they where able to be here before the Home energy audit guys left so they where able to explain what they found face to face.  It turned out to be nothing major just a bent piece of metal a little to close to the flame cause a lose of efficient burn. <br />

"At Wesson Energy, we value all customer relationships and adhere to the highest standards of service and delivery. After reviewing this former customer’s account, it appears that there are numerous factors that were omitted that would have revealed the extent to which Wesson and its customer service representatives tried to resolve the issue. This customer did have two accounts with Wesson that became severely delinquent in payment (90 days+). Ultimately, both accounts were put on delivery and service “stops” pending the past due balance being brought current. Both our customer service representatives and our business office tried several times to set up a payment plan with this customer in order to provide some relief during a fiscally-challenging time. Unfortunately, the payment plan that was finally put into place was quickly broken and after several attempts to reach the customer failed, Wesson had no choice but to close both accounts. All totaled, Wesson worked with this customer for months to resolve the delinquency and always treated this customer with respect and in a professional manner. In fact, after reviewing the interactions relating to this account, it was actually the customer who became rude and insulting. Ultimately, to this customer’s credit, the account balance was finally paid in full 1 year later. Wesson has been servicing customers faithfully for more than 80 years and has built a solid reputation on providing excellent service."

In November 2014 I called Wesson to report that the thermostat for the first floor of my 2 family rental wasn't working. It was a warm week so it wasn't an emergency plus the second floor thermostat and domestic hot water was working. I was given an appointment for several days later but told the secretary to make sure I was called when the tech would be en-route. I don't reside at the rental and in the past the techs have been very late, hence my request to be called. It should also be noted that I had a service contract from Oct 2006 until Oct 2014 that I didn't renew due to a pending sale on the house. Also I had Wesson install a brand new boiler with indirect hot water heater in 2008. So back to the Nov issue. A week later I received a bill for $690. I was billed to replace a circulatory pump and a zone controller on top of purging the system of air and cleaning the boiler. I wouldn't have had this done info was called & a week later the boiler stopped working due to a dirty filter.

Dennis was on time, but after the service to the furnace it started leaking oil. We had to call them back a few days later to service it again. They came back to fix the new oil leak onto the cellar floor.

They were terrific.  They are a little bit high price but they come.  Like for example, everybody was home for thanksgiving, the house was full of people and I put the turkey about three o’clock in the morning or four something like that, and the house was freezing.  I called them, the people even got up and the problem was solved.  They come and clean your furnace for you.  I have so much confidence in them because they come.
