My 16yo AC finally died and I needed a new system fast. I searched Angie's List, (I have had great vendors from here so far) and found West Coast Cold Air. The owner, Fernando, was very quick to respond. He came out that Tuesday to see what I needed and was able to install it Thursday am. He even gave me a loaner portable unit so we wouldn't melt another night without AC! He gave me a great price and he and his technician were in and out within about 3 hours. They are honest, fast, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would definitely use them again.

Fernando gave us estimate and the day and time for removal and installation of a/c unit. he came on time and did an excellent job. very nice person to deal with.

West Coast Cold Air, Inc., is a great company. The owner Fernando, is highly reliable and a man of his word. After an exhaustive search to replace a dishonest and failing A/C Contractor who lied to us about his LIC and qualifications, we found West Coast Cold Air on the City of St. Petersburg, FL License Contractor List. After the fact we discovered West Coast Cold Air is registered with Angie List. I called Fernando and he promptly came out to the house we are renovating to assess our HVAC project requirements for an older two-story home that never had A/C. After interviewing nine other A/C contractors with no success due to their insurance coverage or internal business policy preventing them from touching equipment or completing another A/C contractors work. West Coast Cold Air did not hesitate to take on the job and assumed full ownership of the recently installed but abandoned equipment and uncompleted second floor project requirements. Fernando informed us to go to the City Permit Office to change the Contractor name on the recorded HVAC permit to his company's name and guided us through the arduous city of St. Petersburg permit process. The install was completed in four days to include: completing the missing Manual J Air inspection to complete the permit; finishing the install of the downstairs Mitsubishi ductless mini-split systems/outside condenser; sourcing and installing a new Central Air system for the upstairs: installing missing air return ducts for four rooms, and passing the Final HVAC Inspection. In addition, Fernando provided an outstanding insulation contractor recommendation for the attic. We are so happy and pleased with West Coast Cold Air and cannot say enough good things about Fernando's reasonable prices, integrity, and quality of workmanship. He is a real professional who earned our respect, I will always highly recommend him first--he is a rare professional you can count on!

When they checked the unit they found the airhandker was very dirty, they pull out and cleaned it .and install back after they were done. They checked the compressor AMP, CAPACITOR MICF, pressure etc.

I called Fernando up and he said he could see me today and came right on over. He was very responsive via phone and text message and showed up right when he said he would. He had a very clean and organized vehicle and all the equipment with him. From the start of the appointment to the end it took roughly 30 minutes including a full inspection of the system. I will definitely be recommending Fernando to my friends and family and using his services again. Thank you Fernando!

He noticed the A/C system had a leak and inserted 8.8lbs of freon to the unit. He then realized the water pipes that were supposed to be connected needed to be glued together because that was causing water damage to the carpet in that section. It's been two weeks and the A/C has not gotten frozen.

After calling many other companies, we contacted West Coast Cold Air, and not only they provide me an exellent customer service but they also offered me the best price for the duct work. I will highly recommend them.

They came to my house after a recommendation from neighbor and check the system and found was bad, the repair cost to much, and they gave me a good price and I decided to install the new system. the next day they perform whit the installation, very professional and very satisfied. Outside unit was not working and I called this company. Come to find out there was a bad capacitor which tech was able to fix immediately. Additionally, this provider detected the contactor was dirty and it was also cleaned at a reasonable priced. Overall I will recommend this company to anyone due to professionalism, knowledge of AC issues, and reasonable prices. Services are very affordable and maintenance of all AC units were recommended and scheduled for the next 6 months. <br />

I contacted several a/c places where I had failed attempts of service and loss of money, I eventually ran across West Coast Air and the guy was very professional and prompt with his service. I must say I've had service done plenty of times and my a/c just never blew good enough or it just felt like I had no a/c air at all. He literally was here for 30 mins and the changes to my a/c have been very noticeable for one you can actually feel the cold air unlike other services I have received. I will most definitely be recommending him to my family and friends in the future for services including returning to do mine *this is my second review* not sure if my first one posted not the best at computers.

Everything went well. The tech. was very detailed. he explained to me what was wrong with my air conditioner,and showed as well. He quoted me a price before any work was done.  Once the repairs were completed. The tech stayed for awhile to make sure the system was working properly.  So far everything is okay, and will use West Coast Cold Air in the future. <br />
