This is our third experience with Western Appliance in the last 3 months.  The two repairs made previously were for a broken igniter in an old GE clothes dryer, and to replace the stove-top igniters on our Jenn-Air gas range. <br /> In every case, Bob did some trouble shooting over the phone, gave me an estimate of what it might cost, and sent Dave, the mechanic (his brother) to the house to fully diagnose the issues and make the repairs. <br /> Dave has always showed up on time and has performed the repairs expeditiously. <br /> I have nothing but good things to say about their operation, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing appliance repair.  The work has always been stellar, and if there's a way to do things less expensively, they have done so. <br /> Top notch in my book! <br />

Unlike our appalling experience with Sears with whom we have had a service contract  - now cancelled, the phone at Western Appliance was answered promply by a pleasant and knowledgeable lady who set up the appointment. Bob called several days before to review the problem to ensure he had the likely replacement parts on hand during the call and also warned that depending on his findings on inspecting the appliance the repair might not be worth it. He arrived promptly within the arranged window. Did a thorough job and recommended replacement. More than that he helped by recommending and calling an appliance store (another small customer-friendly business) with the desired replacement in stock at a competitive price - installed 3 days later. It is refreshing to deal with a real professional, thoroughly knowledgeable on the equipment, honest and customer oriented. I will absolutely use Western Appliance for future appliance service. <br />

My first contact with Western Appliance was with Louise. After asking a couple of questions, Louise was able to diagnose the problem and <br /> told me that most likely the ignitor in the oven needed to be replaced. She gave an approximate price over the phone. Louise suggested that a less expensive part could work and she would look into it. She was extremely professional on the phone. The day of the appointment I called Louise to find out an approximate time when the technician would stop by the house so that I would be home then. She told that he was on a call and she would try to reach out to him via text. Once she heard back from him she confirmed that he was on his way to our house. Bob was here on time and was very courteous and professional. He replaced the part in no time and was in and out in few minutes. It was one of my best experience with a home repair company. I will call them for my next appliance repair and will recommend them to friends and family.

Dave came on time. Diagnosed the problem of the leak in the refrigerator fixed it in 10 minutes. Also ordered wire for light switch. Fixed it in five minutes. Neat, clean, reliable, personable. I would definitely use this company again.

I discovered my dryer was broken the night before and I called up this company the next morning.  Someone came out to my house later in the day.  Louise was very patient and courteous.  She asked me for the model number of the dryer and instructed me on how to find it.  Before sending out the repairman, she wanted to make sure she had the parts in stock as to not waste my time. <br /> When the repairman came out, he was on time and very friendly.  He took my dryer apart and explained to me in my own caveman language what was wrong with the dryer and what he could do and how much it would cost for the parts.  He also explained to me that my dryer was not running efficiently because I had lint piled up inside the machine and the air hose leading out to the air vent was too long and it was bending in a 90 degree angle . <br /> When the work was done, he explained to me how fabric sheets can screwed up the filter system and he showed me how to clean out the detachable filter.  He also shortened the air hose.  I don't think he charged me for that or for the new vent flap.  <br /> In the end, I think I got more than what I paid for. <br />

Bob was courteous. He was knowledgeable. He gave good advice. Went the extra mile to analyze the problem and fix it. <br />

Great customer service over the phone.  Provided additional means of determining the model number of the dishwasher (just purchased the home) since it was locked shut.  Was able to find this which allowed them to order the appropriate latch mechanism for the dishwasher.  Repairmen showed up within the time slot, fixed the dishwasher, and showed how the old latch broke. <br /> Will definitely use again for appliance repair needs. <br />

Super punctual, people of their word. Courteous and polite. Asked if I had any questions. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

The repairman, Dave was due here between 9-11am. He was here right at 9am, did both repairs in under an hour. Cost was much lower than I anticipated. Very satisfied with this company.

I called Western Appliance after I discovered that my washing machine was starting to flood the laundry room.  My call was immediately answered and I was asked to give as much information as possible about the machine model and what was happening.  I scheduled a service call--for that same day.  Knowing a repairman was coming, I decided to ask if he could also take a look at the dryer.  Again I described the problem I was having.  By asking the right questions on the phone, the repairman came prepared with all the parts required.  There was no need to schedule another visit.  And both machines have been working perfectly since the repair. <br />

 Overall, the experience was exceptional, and I plan to use Western Appliance in the future.  I highly reccommend them! <br />
