The “provider” was contacted on May 23rd to begin a glass door install job. As of the writing of this complaint, it is now October 30th, and the job is nowhere near complete. Mr. Heard has been to my home no less than 5 times to take measurements, all of which were incorrect as the glass panels he eventually brought (the second being delivered on October 20th) do not fit my shower space in the least. The glass panels Mr. Heard delivered are unusable. The second panel is so unstable that a slight tap to it causes it to shake uncontrollably. As such, the shower is unsafe to use. They are now chipped, they do not fit the shower space, and his haphazard attempt to retrofit them have only caused further damage to my bathroom. I will now need to retile areas of my shower space. Further, Mr. Heard damaged my walls when attempting to deliver the panels. He came unprepared when delivering the first panel and roped my electrician into helping him carry the panel upstairs. The second panel was delivered with the help of his associate, but as mentioned, they were not careful, and they damaged my walls along the way. This video link summarizes the issues at hand: [*** Link removed ***] Mr. Heard has been caught in numerous lies and when confronted he tells a sob story about why the work couldn’t be completed (e.g., his car was repossessed, and all of his tools were inside at the time of confiscation). My parents have witnessed this pattern in addition to his admission of fault. Mr. Heard stated he did not have the expertise with such a shower install and that he rushed through the measurements and installation of the first glass panel, causing damage. Further, he originally quoted me $1300 to complete the job and sent an invoice accordingly. He has since altered the quote. I’ve received no less than 3 invoices with differing amounts. Luckily, I was able to screenshot the second two before he deleted them. I paid for and ran a background check on Mr. Heard and it appears as if Mr. Heard has a criminal record and is also associated with multiple glass company businesses. In fact, the company name he provided to Angi cannot be located anywhere else, and his invoice cites a different company name entirely. Mr. Heard has contacted me from three different phone numbers in the five months I have known him. Mr. Heard is a swindler and because he was not vetted appropriately, I am paying the price.

The work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. I would definitely make use of this company again, and would recommend West Glass and Mirror to others.
