Alan arrived on time and after a survey of the work needed gave an estimate within an hour and scheduled the work within the week. Alan's crew arrived promptly and performed all the work carefully, removed and returned items on the deck and porch. The entire work was performed to our satisfaction. Happy with the work done and will use West Side in the future. <br />

tThe crew arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. The job appears to be very professional. They spent time with us afterwards to explain what they found and how it was rectified. Since the issue was intermittent leaks we do not have absolute proof that the the issues has been fixed but have had no issues since the repair was done. <br />

My husband explained to Alan from Westside what we wanted done. Alan explained the best way to do the project. He was very impressed  with his knowledge of the various projects we proposed. Alan got back with a competitive and fair price. The workers who arrived were the most courteous, skilled and hard working crew my husband has seen in a while. They went above and beyond professional thru and thru. The best compliment you could give a company is to have them return to do additional jobs. Suffice to say Alan is stopping by for another consultation for the next project lined up. Thanks again Westside.

The job went smoothly and professionally from start to finish. Alan was punctual for our appointment to discuss the paint job. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Candi had the detailed quote available in just two days. The painting crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly for the next 9 days to finish the prep and painting work. Jose, Sammy, Max and Richie were very polite and very willing to discuss the status of the work. They worked very cleanly during the prepping and painting. They put down plastic tarps to collect all the scrapings and cleaned up the yard each evening before going home. At the end of the job, Richie and I had a walk-around the house to make sure I was happy with the job. The paint used for the job was high quality and included in the cost. My wife and I are very happy with the results and surprised how quickly the job was done <br />

Everything handled in a professional, efficient, and timely manner from start to finish. Alan arrived on time to look over job and provide estimate very soon afterward. Candi followed up with contract and had job scheduled in short order once contract was signed. Jose and Sammy were on the job for three days and were a pleasure to work with. Very happy with the outcome and would definitely use Westside Home improvement again!

As usual, Alan showed up as scheduled and did a thorough walk-around to detail the work that needed to be done. Candi had the contract done the next morning and the carpenters showed up two days later as promised. Bucky and Max worked a full day and did a great job. They not only fixed the superficial rotted wood, but went down to the support structure and made repairs. They used good quality materials and were very happy to explain to me how they were making the repairs. The porches are on a Victorian Style house and they were able to make the repairs while maintaining the decorative style. Bucky's skill and workmanship really came through on the work done on the front porch. Max really did a great job replacing the shakes and fascia boards on the back porch. He also did a nice job replacing the outside door to the basement. This was a professional and quality job through and through.

Alan was on time to look over the job and provide the estimate within a day. Candi promptly prepared the contract. Once the contract was signed, she scheduled the project start date and the workers showed up as promised. Jose and Sammy worked 2 full days until all the work was done. They were polite and answered all my question about what they were doing. They provided me pictures of the gutters as I have an aversion to heights. The work area was kept clean as they were working and left the worksite like they found it when they started the job. The project went like clockwork and done in the most professional way. Fantastic! Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Alan arrived exactly when he said he would, we went over the projects and I had a quote later that day. Later in the week Bucky and crew came by to start. They were very focused, worked quickly and kept an orderly work space. I can't wait to throw more work to these guys! <br />

Jose & Sammy were terrific. I watched to see how they were going to handle power washing the pool deck and patio with the massive amount of furniture on them. But they patiently carried every single piece to the driveway, lined them up and began power washing every piece. The furniture was cleaner than it has been since it was new. The power wash buffer they used on the concrete deck, patio and pavers did an amazing job, with minimal mess. The end result was again amazing. I hadn't seen the concrete that bright since the first year we opened the pool. They continued to do the front deck, the white railings, the front paver walkway and finished the job by power washing the entire house. They worked non-stop to complete this project in one day. I addition, Jose made some small repairs to the siding on the house and both he & Sammy carried a huge box with a fire pit to be assembled from the garage to the pool deck. I was in a time crunch to get this project done before the weekend. i called their office and Alan, the owner, cam to my house within an hour and gave me an estimate. I signed the contract via email that night and the work began the following day and was completed that evening. A great job by everyone involved. The price may have been a touch on the heavy side but I told Alan that I needed it done right away and he delivered, so you need to pay for that. I would highly recommend Westside to anyone based on this experience. <br />

Prompt; efficient; almost invisible (as unbelievable as that sounds); totally trustworthy; polite <br />

I had a leak in the ceiling. My whole ceiling fell down. They came down and fixed it all up. They did an excellent job you wouldn’t have known it happened. They did more than I expected. They did a nice job. They are really nice guys. I was totally pleased.

We had some water and ice get into our new three-season room after the big 24" snowstorm.  After the insurance came through to pay for repairs, we contacted a few companies regarding having the solid soffits replaced with perforated ones that would help prevent future water backup and entrapment. A few responded, but when Alan from Westside came, he explained what the replace would and would not do.  We also asked if he could do the ceiling repair and he responded yes.  I had written on a Tuesday, got a call back on Wednesday, made arrangements for an review on Saturday afternoon (and he was able to come early).  We were promised an estimate by Monday and when it did not come through, I told Candi who determined they had the wrong email address.  By the time we were off the phone the estimate was to me.  My wife and I reviewed on on Tuesday, called on Wednesday to agree, Bucky the foreman was over on Thursday with the paperwork, they were there on Friday and did all the work and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.  And we are very pleased with the job that was done- they painted the entire ceiling.  During the whole 12 day experience Candi was in constant contact to make sure things were going smoothly and without delay, and the fact that everything got done so rapidly and so well was incredibly impressive.  Not only did they accept a % off coupon from Angie's List, they added another discount on top of that to further reduce the cost. <br /> Would we use them again- definitely!  Were we pleased with the work?  For sure!   Could the price be lower- don't know, as this was the only joint-estimate we had but the discounts definitely helped.  Were they professional?  Completely.  And was communication good- YES! <br /> We have some additional projects that we are looking at through the year and will definitely have Westside come in and give us estimates. <br />

The work was done very quickly but not at the cost of quality.  The workers were prompt and Alan (the owner) and Candi (in the office) were quite helpful and on top of the job.  When they were done, they cleaned up and didn't leave any trash behind.  I don't know whether I could have had the same quality of work done cheaper but after reading the reviews I decided to spend a little more and have the job done correctly the first time.  Sometimes when you choose a lower bid, you're not getting the same quality of work and you end up having to hire someone to fix the mess that the first group left.  I've experienced that before (hence, removal of the fake chimney) and now I just want to get the remaining jobs done.  However, since money is limited (until I win the lottery) I can't do everything at once as I'd like as the cost is more than I can handle at one time.  But I was very happy with the work Westside did so I would definitely use them again. <br />

It went better than I could have hoped for!  Alan is a nice, honest person, with plenty of roofing experience.  The day after I called, he showed up first thing the next morning.   He could tell immediately why our slate roof was leaking into our bathroom and bedroom, and how to repair it - and explained it all to me clearly.  Westside did a great job.  The crew was highly professional, courteous, kind, and efficient.  They were In and out in one day!  I couldn't believe it! They even threw in some extras I hadn't asked for, e.g., rehung a heavy bathroom mirror much more securely than my jerry-rigged method. And when I asked for one last piece of work at the end of the day (which I hadn't thought of before), even after their long day they happily stayed longer to help me out.   Every person on the crew was nice and friendly and hard working.  And back in the office - Candi was great!  She is lovely to deal with, returned emails and calls promptly.   <br /> I can't say enough about Westside Home Improvement!  (Just please don't hire them the same time that I need them again!) <br />

Alan responded very quickly to my call. He was there the next day and gave me a good quote. He obviously knew what he was doing. Within a few days, Jose was there to remove the existing gutters so that I could paint the facia underneath before the new gutters were installed. Alan was very accommodating. Within a few days Jose was back to install the new gutters. High quality job, done quickly and reasonably priced. Would definitely hire them again. <br />

Came did an estimate and that amount did not change. <br /> Two workers came on time, and finished earlier than expected. <br /> Took mirror to be fixed, this took longer than estimated butdue to the mirror shop. <br /> I was very pleased with the work and will use them afain. <br />

The entire process for dealing with Westside was very smooth, and I would not hesitate to use them again.  The office staff is professional, and it was easy to schedule a visit where Alan came to our house and diagnosed the problem.  We were able to schedule it efficiently.  Jose was the primary person who performed the work, and he was professional, careful, and thorough.  <br /> There was a very severe thunderstorm last night, and we didn't experience the leak that had been persistent and bothersome over the past few months.  We were impressed with the team at Westside. <br /> <br />
