He was prompt, honest and had a sincere work ethic. He did not even want to take breaks. The quality of the floors are fabulous and he was worth every penny we paid him. If we need any flooring in the future, I will be calling Trevor.

They were all very professional. They were very fast and hardworking. They made sure they did quality work as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will also be using them again in the future for other work which I plan to have completed in my home.

I have no complaints, and I am enjoying my new flooring.

I recommend a five star rating on their quality and work ethics.

Workers were pretty punctial. There was a small disagreement at first over what Michael White had told us and what actually was to be done.Everything worked out okayMichael White is a coowner and Trevor White is a coownwe who actually does the installing.Trevor works well with the crew but was on the phone a lot with other jobs being performed at the same time.Michael is much easier to talk with while Trevor is the work leader and not as easily to talk to.
..The work was carried out flawlessly, mostly by two workers while Trevor had to leave to handle issues on other jobs. The last couple of hours was a little rushed when the end of the day approached. The work was not as precise.
Overall the job was good. The crew had to return to repair some minor splits and cracks but handled well.
My wife actually cooked lunch for crew and supplied ice tea.Workers were very polite.
We hauled away the old carpet to save a couple hundred dollars.Crew stripped carpet and put in pile in yard to help.
Definitely would use again
White's Flooring & Construction did a really bad job. He did exactly what he wanted to do and didn't do what I wanted him to do. I will never use them again. I hate that guy. I deal with a lot of contractors and he's the worst I dealt with out of 30 contractors.

They really had a high quality in flooring. They took the time to ensure that the flooring matched what we had in the rest of the house. They did a fine job of coming in and making sure the floor was professionally done and it looks beautiful.

The manager of the company who provides the estimates and works with you on the business end came out first, very quickly after I called I might add, and gave us a quote. He was very personable and nice and everything was written out clearly. He did not act rushed and we enjoyed visiting with him as well. We accepted the proposal and felt good when the starting date was quickly given to us.
We live about 45 minutes away from where they are based out of, so given that, the starting times each morning seemed a little late, but thinking about it, they had to get their kids to school, go pickup the tools and what they needed, and then drive to our location, so it was actually reasonable. The age of the two young men that came at first concerned me, but soon my concerns were alleviated. They worked so very h****** taking out our prior flooring structure to get down to the sub-floor. We bought this house about 19 years ago and the original builders of the home had nailed it down like every two inches in every direction, so the demolition was more involved than expected, but they tore it out and barely took breaks. As they didn't know that the nearest food establishment was 15 min. away, they didn't have a McD's to go to for lunch, so I was happy to run and go get them lunch while they worked. They only took a few minutes to eat and then were back at it. Their work ethic really impressed me! (so much so that I made them a homemade fried chicken meal the next day, including a homemade chocolate cake - as they were sweet, well-mannered young men and really appreciative). One other thing I'd like to mention is that they were careful to get all of the old material into the trailers and made sure no nails were dropped in the yard. They left about 6pm, exhausted.
The next day they did the fine-tuning cleaning of the area and were able to start laying down the underlayment and the new floor, which was beautiful! They used a soft-tipped mallet to pound the flooring pieces together securely (tongue and groove), then rolled the pneumatic nailer along the straight edge and nailed the row of flooring down. They were very selective in the way they laid out the flooring so that the planks were laid out properly. They left enough room though for expansion at the ends. They got about 1/3 of the floor done on the second day. They left about 5pm.
The third day they finished the rest of the large flooring area and addressed some issues that came up where they handled each one with great results. (Again, very impressed with the maturity and experience of these young fellows.) It was getting late (about 6pm) and they were trying to finish, but weren't able to, so that necessitated one more day, which ended up being about a half of a day where they finished the transitions and installed the quarter round pieces where the wall meets the floor.
All of the issues that came up were due to the fact that this was a custom-built older 1970's home, where nothing was standard, but it was built very solidly though. Through it all they discussed every option and showed us to leave the final decisions to us. They were creative and careful. I even took a picture of them when they were done and ready to leave on the 4th day. I told a friend of mine that I was going to adopt them as sons. :-)
I was very pleased to say the least.
Material put down:
5/8" x 3-3/4" Natural Strand Bamboo in 3.5 days
They arrived on time & started taking out the old flooring. Lunches were short & very few breaks. The upstairs bedroom flooring and hall were down in less than 2 days. The house was built in 1976 and stairs were a real challenge due to a structural problems. They keep us informed on what was happening and asked our opinion when needed. We liked the can-do attitude the young men exhibited. They did not take short cuts and took pride in their work. We had as many as 5 working the first day and rest of the time a two man crew. The finish product exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend White's Flooring.

Great job from beginning to end. Professional in every way.

First one of the owners came to our home and carefully examined, measured, and planned the job. Within a few days we had an emailed estimate. The Bona Traffic product was ordered and shipped to our home. A schedule was set up for the job and followed.

In our opinion, the oak floors in our new home(May, 2010)were never correctly refinished. The original intstallers/refinishers did not apply the sealing base coat per the Bona Product instructions. Neither did the installers sand according to the Bona instructions. Furthermore, the original installers/finishers not only never applied a base coat, but they also waited 4 days before applying the first coat of Bona. We have since learned from several 'hardwood floor' professionals, that time of application is of the essence and should be done within the first 24 hours of sanding. White's Flooring correctly insisted on applying Bona's base coat the same day.

Due to cupping, the first floor was not an easy job. The floors had to be sanded down to flat, smooth bare wood . The White's Flooring crew worked long, hard, and diligently. Among the crew of 4(which included an owner), there was no chatting, phone calls, long lunches, etc.

The crew arrived on time with the proper equipment. They worked hard and efficiently with great attention to detail and care for our home. The job was completed in a timely manner and exactly as outlined in their estimate. It was a great experience; we highly recommend White's Flooring.
