The installation was done when promised and completed on time at an excellent price. I needed to call the installers out to take care of 3 issues that I found when checking the installation. This was done in a timely manner. Overall I am pleased with the new system although I have not had an opportunity to really test the A/C yet as the weather turn cool and it has not been needed.

Great! Greg answered my call for a quote immediately and came out himself to finalize the estimate and do the work with his crew. They completed it on the day scheduled (all if one day) as promised, did really nice work, and cleaned up after themselves. Every interaction was very professional and the price was really good as well. I couldn't be happier with them and will definitely use them again.

I hired this provider and he did come out right away but when it came to the service he provided it was not good at all. He came out and inspected my A/C system and provided me with the information that I had no coolant in the system and the compressor was gone and that I needed a new one and 15 lbs of coolant. He provided info on selling me a whole new unit for $2700 dollars, spoke with me about some financing and said he would send someone back with the paperwork and info. When they came back I did not finish the paper work before I realized I had coverage on the unit and wanted to get it inspected from them as a second opinion. When they came out they said none of what this provider said was true and that all I needed was a new battery part that was bad which they replaced for free and the system is running great. I feel as if I was lied to and cheated into thinking I needed a complete new system which I would have gone with if I had not gotten a second opinion.

My blower motor went out on one of the coldest days of the year.  A serviceman was sent out within the hour.  I was at the hardware store and my wife was outside when they arrived.  Luckily, Greg called to say that no one answered the door.  I told him that my wife was there, so he sent the serviceman back.  Another company might have just left. <br /> We were given a quote to replace the blower motor, but since the furnace was 21 years old we opted for the replacement.  They promised to install the furnace first thing in the morning.  Meanwhile, he gave the motor a spin and luckily it worked sufficiently until the new install. <br /> These guys are real pros.  They will explain everything they do and answer all questions.  <br /> They did a perfectly sealed install.  They had to do a little retrofitting, but the finished product is very neat. <br /> Afterwards, it seemed that the work area was actually cleaner than before. <br /> You cannot go wrong with these guys.  Actually, I had them out once before for a preseason tune-up.  This is the only company I plan to call for my HVAC needs.

An honest, excellent overall experience.  The technician was on time, did a thorough inspection/cleaning and answered any questions I had.  He accidentally broke a small part, immediately notified me, and replaced it on the spot after obtaining a replacement.  He did not try to upsell or otherwise attempt to get me to buy anything else.  A lot of companies use this opportunity to try and sell you a new furnace/A.C. even though you may not need it.  An impressive experience and I will definitely use this company in the future. <br />

Both the owner and the serviceman that came to do the work were wonderful.  The price was fair (we used Angie's List Offer) and the serviceman that came to do the work took time to answer all of our questions while he worked.  Great value. <br />

Technician cleaned around burners and under blower motor.  He also checked the flame and amperage on the induction motor and blower motor.  And he applied some duct repair tape to a portion of the return duct.  He was very friendly and explained the work he was doing.  I highly recommend this company. <br /> Communication was great as well.  The owner called me on Sunday to ask if the technician could come earlier than the planned appointment. <br />

I purchased the gas furnace tune-up that was emailed to me as an "Angie's Big Deal".  This was my first "deal" purchase on Angie's List. I clicked on the deal, paid with credit card, selected the dates I was available for the service call, and I was contacted by Whitmer Services within the hour to confirm the information I submitted. <br /> Greg Whitmer, the owner and crew showed up the next day.  They spent about forty-five minutes going through the furnace checking and cleaning. The furnace checked out as good to go.  <br /> Our current furnace/AC is 37 years old and we were quoted a very reasonable price to replace. <br />

My A/C system was 16 years old and died on the hottest week in September. Greg and his team came out immediately and by the next day the work was done. His team stayed late to make sure the job was done in one day so we wouldn't need to suffer another day of heat and humidity. Excellent responsiveness, service and price! <br />

We had replaced a full ac unit in out house. everything was on schedule and they did a professional job. they had competitive pricing and it was an overall great experience. I would recommend them.

After getting several estimates Greg came in a lot under the the others. Not only in cost but in product quality. Others were between 8 to 10 thousand without the furnace and new coil and not as efficient of a A/C unit. <br /> Without the run around and price haggling his first price and explanation of installation and Brands used, Greg was up-front from the start. <br /> There were no extras that surprised you later. <br /> They arrived on time, and have a friendly professional attitude Any questions that you ask were thoroughly explained.  Every employee was very courteous and friendly. The job when finished cleaned up, nothing for me to do. <br /> Greg's explanations of the products he suggest using isn't for more profit in the pocket, but overall efficiency, your satisfaction. <br /> So why was his price for all that work that much cheaper in price? <br /> Because your not being gouged   <br /> . <br /> Sure he probably could of charged 2-4 thousand more but he doesn't. <br /> A Rheem Furnace with a 3-ton Rheem A/C unit and a 24,000 BTU Mini-split Heat/Air Heat Pump System, that works fantastic. <br /> The company and employees, produce brand, Rheem, and cost of everything will keep Whitmer Services on  my  "first to call list". <br /> Let me add this, <br /> the other contractors <br /> I notified that I was going with someone else. <br /> Each one asked what price, each ones said they can beat that by a hundred dollars. <br /> First none of the other contractors were going to replace the furnace also. <br /> So let me ask you this; <br />  why couldn't they give the better price in the first place and not a "I can beat that" thing? <br /> Even if they did the exact same job with the exact units, I wouldn't use them because of the game they play. <br /> That fat profit pocket game.
