Sole proprieter, thirteen years in business,twenty four years in the industry. I take pride in my work and very excited to take on challeging or creative jobs. I keep a clean job site and remove debris almost daily,once I start a project I'm their until I'm done. I use sub contractors as needed and have put together a great group of guys to take on any job.I don't advertise so, all my work come from referrals

I was scammed of a large amount of money and left with a partially done (plywood) porch and the owner (Todd) was unresponsive. Details: He completed a portion of the job and then stopped, telling me that he had crashed his car and would be getting a new one soon. Fair enough. Despite needing to sell the house quickly I waited. Then he stopped answering messages. Weeks and then months passed and winter started. When I threatened to sue, he quickly responded with an angry message and claimed he had given the phone to his son and got a temporary phone instead. He pressured me for an additional payment (part of the final payment due on completion). I unfortunately paid him, over Western Union as he requested. Since then he has not responded to any of my phone messages or IMs. Apparently he decided that he was paid enough from the job to bother finishing it and I'll need to pay another contractor to do work he promised to do and took money for. In the picture is the porch in the current state, with plywood for the flooring and basic framing for the sides, a far cry from the work that was promised. It went terribly. He seems very earnest and genuine, but he would fail to show up when he said he would.

"It was you guys that were sending the angry text..i was doing my best to finish your project..it was your decision to wait almost three months for your tile guy only to find he didnt even do the work..i really didnt feel comfortable to work in your home after all the threats ..there was still a balance due on your job and really not fair to me to have to wait such a long time due to factors out of my control.....your place was left a wreck..just some boxes from materials you bought"

I won't do this again. It took them a long time. I had to follow up with them. They weren't timely. It wasn't really what I wanted. They were not responsive.

My experience was not as good. He drew out a pencil drawing. I do not think that was worth money now. I think they should do software instead of pencil drawing.

Todd was amazing. He is truly a diamond in the rough. With so much competition out there for "handymen" and contractors he certainly stands out with his unbelievable pricing and quality of work. He does all of his own work and does not mind when you add things in last minute or change your mind a hundred times. Patience of steel. After getting a deck from him I asked him to come back and do a huge basement finishing project.

The company owner, Todd, was the main person doing the work and he was friendly to us and to our dogs. He is very personable and easy to work with. We hired him for an Angie's Big Deal deck design and decided to have him replace the shoddy work performed by another contractor 10 years ago. He freely provided advice and did a wonderful job. We are very happy with the results and have scheduled him to perform additional services in the future. <br />

My dad hired Todd after I found him on Angies list and we were extremely pleased with his work.Dad needed a 30 year old deck with an egg crate top taken down and disposed of,new footings had to be poured and a 10 x 16 Trex deck with railings and stairs would be in its place.Todd gave us a detailed plan ,taking time to explain each step.He arrived early each day,working diligently even in extremely hot weather and weekends too.Todd took it upon himself to dig up the old footings and saved my dad a lot of heavy work by moving them to a designated spot(not in the contract).I must add he was very kind to my elderly father.Todd is a courteous,talented builder who cleans up the work area each day.He certainly deserves his high rating.Dad and I would highly recommend him to family and friends. <br />

<p>The whole process went really well. Todd called to check in on a regular basis. Once he started the construction, he was here early and worked diligently. My neighbors had nothing but wonderful things to say. He was polite and courteous. They were so excited to stop by everyday after he left and see the progress. </p> <p>He spent one day on digging the footings, one day waiting for an inspection/filling the footings, one day building the frame, and a few days working on the decking, railings, more inspections, etc. He was extremely professional, always insisting on having the city come and check before moving forward. He had fallen behind due to rain, so he came and spent 2 Saturdays here so I'd have my deck in a timely manner.</p> <p>I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Todd. His attention to detail and the quality workmanship he paid to creating my deck is like no other! My neighbors are jealous at my gorgeous deck. My neighbor told me yesterday that she brought her sister over to see it last week when I was at work. She said her sister was floored at how beautiful it was - from the size, to the color; the design to the direction of the planking! </p> <p>I would highly recommend Todd! I certainly plan on using his services in the future for other projects I have on my list!</p> <br />

<p>Todd did an awesome job. He could visualize what we wanted in the project and delivered. He is the most honest contractor we've ever worked with. We gave him our garage door code to get in so he could have access to the electrical panels when we were not home. No matter how busy he was he always stopped to talk about what we wanted or needed done on the job. If there were any issues or problems with the work (we had nothing major at all!), as soon as we mentioned it to him, BAM, it was corrected without any comments, questions or complaints!!!!! There was a problem with our roof installation that we were unaware of but Todd noticed it and was not happy. He took that section of roof down and replaced it correctly. He pointed out what the problem was and absorbed the cost himself (which is the correct and professional thing to do!). It's about 21 X 12 foot porch, with rough cedar siding inside and vinyl siding outside. He tore out and replaced a retaining wall on one side. He ripped off the old indoor-outdoor carpeting and installed tile flooring on the concrete base. He hooked up a storm door, cable, electrical outlets, ceiling fan and lighting. He also built Plexiglas panels to pop into the screened windows to keep out wind, rain or snow and built a beautiful storage "cabinet" for them when they are out.</p> <p>We would and WILL have Todd back to our home for some more work that needs to be done here. </p> <p>He also did a massive bi-level deck at my sisters home that is absolutely gorgeous. (She is not an Angie's member which is why I mention it.)</p> <p>We think Todd is the next best thing to sliced bread. We've got dibs on him, so you may have to wait to get him to your place!!!!!</p> <br />

Todd provided several plans to help us choose the best way to expand an existing deck to double the size while adding a pergola. He also worked with us in choosing best building materials. The finished deck is beautiful He was very professional and we highly recommend him <br />

Todd seems to be a nice guy so I'll start with the good parts. He was good about letting us know when he would be here and usually arrived in a timely manner. He performed the demoltion of our old deck and stairs and removed the debris to our satisfaction. <br /> <br /> The replacement deck and stairs he built for us are sturdy and secure, a big relief from our rickety old ones. <br /> <br /> Now to the not-so-good parts. <br /> <br /> I spoke to him before his final visit to complete the job, and mentioned that I was unhappy with the appearance of the bottom board that the stairs land on, and with the unequal tread lengths. He verbally agreed to address those issues. That work was not done. <br /> <br /> A picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll post a few photos of his work. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

I showed him a picture of what I wanted for the pergola and he designed it exactly the way I wanted. I love his work and plan to hire him in the future for other work I need done around the house, e.g., remodel kitchen/bath. I highly recommend Todd. <br />

He is amazing. He does beautiful work. He last did work three years ago. I would give him top marks across the board. He is prompt, neat, considerate. He is a hard worker. He is a one man show. You show him a picture of what you want and he performs his magic.
