Whittles was punctual, friendly, competent, and completed the job on time. They did all that they promised and did a superior clean up job. The roof looks very good.

I received a prompt call back after contacting Whittle's. Eric came and checked out the issue... and gave me the bad news. With all the shingles that would need to be replaced, in the worst case, we were looking at ~$1,000. I gave him the go-ahead. Two days later the repair guy, Bobby, called me and set up an appointment. Only the weather delayed the work from being done the same week. He showed up on time, explained what he was doing, and after taking off some siding to better understand the issue gave me the news. There was a drainage issue, the damage was minimal, and the fix required no new shingles. He fashioned and installed a diverter to eliminate the problem.

We had them put new shingles on the roof several years ago. The only problem we had that time was the amount of nails left on the roof and the ground. We could expect some, but this was excessive. They used tarps and magnets but there were still many we found with our own magnets and stuck in our shoes. More recently we needed the edge of our roof repaired after a hurricane. The facia board they used was cedar and didn’t match the thickness of what it was butted up to. Cedar is a better wood but I’m glad it is on the back side of our house. Overall, the work done was very good, just those couple complaints.

Whittle's provided a free estimate, arrived on time, repaired both areas to our satisfaction and cleaned up well before leaving.

Obtained estimates from 4 contractors, this was second lowest, but company had several good suggestions, estimate was the most complete.  Overall an excellent job, these guys really know what they are doing, even covered shrubbery around the house and cleaned up nicely.  Used good quality product, no complaints at all.  Workers were polite and courteous.

Had to reschedule several times due to my work travels, Dave was very accommodating. He provided multiple samples for shingles as well as the metal roofing strips at the base of the roof He even went and checked on several of the neighbors houses that had shingles that I'd like to, or didn't like. My wife and I remodeled seven houses over the last 2 1/2 years, and Dave is a top-quality contractor? he showed up exactly when he said he would, and had a crew of four man in himself working quickly and efficiently? The work crew was professional and courteous to my wife and I. They kept my yard clean, and covered up open areas over a weekend with no chance of rain, just in case. Dave even left the magnetic Neil pick up tool for me so I could do extra sweeps are in the yard for any stray nails? I found a bunch of nails from my work projects! <br /> I had several bids from other big roofing company is based out of Gainesville, and I chose DavE because he seem to have the most integrity and had a good feeling about him. State Farm insurance can't make recommendations, but the adjuster knew of whittles and gave give me a good feeling that you would be a good choice and he was right <br />

After reroofing large portion of the shingles didn't lay flat. All the wood repair was repaired with particle board when we always discussed plywood. One side of the roof had to be completely reshingled. During the initial reshingle these roofer dented the roof line. They placed to much weight from the shingle piles on the roof. They also cracked the drive way and damaged other wood on the house. The foreman that I dealt with insisted that he would make everything good but try as he could he could not get the job done. I didn't pay them the full amount and had the repairs done myself and I hope to never have to deal with them again. <br />

While they were evaluating they noticed a few other items that needed repair. The owners do the work. Very easy to work with, very professional.

An excellent company with which to work! From the initial estimate to the final inspection, they were professional, forthright, informative, respectful, and competent. Our home needed extensive facia repair and they did a fine job on it. Their proce was among the lowest from a whole bunch of estimates. I highly recommend them! <br />
