W Hudson Residential HVAC Installations

We wanted to replace our existing Heating, Air Conditioning Unit.  We called several contractors and had them out to give us an estimate.  Wes Hudson called us immediately, emailed us information to review before he came to give us an estimate.  He gave us a much more thorough evaluation of our existing system than the other contractors.  Gave us an estimate and when we told him we were going to check with another contractor to see if we could get the same unit at a lower price, he gave us an even lower price.  We checked Angie's List to see what his rating was and decided to go with him.  The installers were very neat and efficient and had the new unit in about 6 or 7 hrs.  We are very pleased with Hudson's and have already recommended him  to people in our neighborhood who saw that we were getting a new unit.  A plus!!

When Mr. Hudson states on his website that  you can "count on us for prompt, affordable, and honest service,"  he is establishing a whole new standard for those terms.   I have to admit I was not very trusting initially, because he was so customer oriented;  it seemed like one of those salesmen who promises you everything.  But the key difference is that <strong>he delivers on everything he promises!<br /> <br /> </strong>I don't consider myself an easy customer:  I asked lots of questions and requested lots of information.  Mr. Hudson inundated me with brochures (via email) and websites which addressed all of my questions, including those I had planned to ask!  He had my total trust when he sent me a list of over twenty references, including descriptions of each job and why I might be interested in what that person had to say.  By the time he arrived for our appointment, I had checked about six of those references,  all raving about him (honest, efficient, knowledgeable) to the point that when he arrived, I already knew that he had the job, even though we had not discussed cost and I had not even managed to get the company that I had been using for the last ten years to return my call for a quote! <br /> <br /> And then I was completely shocked to discover that his quote and his timeline for getting the job done was <strong><em>significantly</em></strong> better than the one quote I had gotten from the company just a couple of miles down the road from me!  (Mr. Hudson is in Wilmington, a ninety   <br /> minute drive from my home.) <br /> <br /> Mr. Hudson delivered on every promise, and more,  keeping me informed every step of the way on their progress and even sending me pictures of the work!  (I failed to mention that all of this was done while I was out of town -- I trusted him and his crew completely and they did not disappoint!) <br /> <br /> I highly recommend  W Hudson Heating and Cooling.   Working with them was clearly one of the most positive experiences of my life. <br />

Heating system was deemed bad by the gas company when attempted to turn on gas for this winter. (It was over 20 years old.) I called Wes Hudson to see about repair and that was possible but would have just put off the inevitable we've been expecting.  Without placing out for bids because I've used this company before, I asked that they replace the system (gas heat and central a/c). They started right away, found they had to relocate outside unit because of narrow lot and code requirements, which added to the project cost  but was unavoidable. Project moved quickly and they were available for service question even on a holiday. 

Installation and clean up was done in one day.   Not sure what the difference will make on utility bills, but the home is much more comfortable.  The compressor is whisper quiet, I can actually hold a normal converstaion standing next to it while it is running. <br /> These guys did a great job and I would use them again.
