Julie from Wild Horse Services called after I went on Angi List for a carpenter. I explained that I have a disabled Son, the toilet sits sideways on the floor as the subfloor is rotted, we had no hot water, I needed a door installed on my Son's bedroom. Also stressed to her that the toilet is very dangerous for my Son to use. We only have one bathroom. She agreed and sent John Robison, a convicted felon and parolee to my home that day. She said he would be here at noon. He showed up at 5:30 pm. He said he had an emergency with a elderly lady and he would come back in the morning. The next day he showed up in the late afternoon to connect the vent and lit the water heater. He assessed what needed to be done and told me Angi only accepts cash so I had to go to the bank so he could buy supplies needed to complete repairs. The next day he came for money, told me he would be back in 2 hours with supplies to complete work. He never showed up. He showed up the next day unannounced saying he worked all night long on another emergency and Angi doesn't allow him to work weekends but he would be here on Saturday anyway. He never showed up. Came unannounced on Sunday saying he lost his wallet and Julie wouldn't answer the phone to give him money and he had no gas to get home. He would not leave my home. He told me he would be here at 7 am Monday morning. He called me at 5:41 to say he would be here in 2 hours. He never showed up. Julie called me late in the afternoon to ask where John was. I did not know as he never showed up. She proceeded to tell me that he is a convicted felon, on parole. He wrote bad checks, committed fraud and had a domestic violence against her. She gave me his parole officer name and phone number. I called him to give this info to him. I also called the police who told me unless others reported him they could do nothing. The toilet remains dangerous for my Son. Should he fall because of it serious could occur as he has connective tissue disease. I do not feel safe in my home, my repairs are not done and my money is gone because of Wild Horse Services.

It went well.

It didn't end well at all. I spoke with Julie Chapman of Wild Horse services. We spoke briefly about the job i was wanting done. We agreed to meet later that day. Julie and John Robison showed up at my residence later that day. We spoke about the job in further detail. It seemed to go well. John agreed to do the job with no problems. We agreed on a price of 8500.00 with half to be paid that evening for supplies that would be ordered at Lowes of Lawton, ok. John said he would be back on Wednesday June 5th 2024. John showed up late wednesday. He said there had been a problem at Lowes. He then informed us that he would be leaving early because his daughter and grandchildren were going to be in a motel up here. He showed up late the next morning. He left early that day as well. He showed up late on friday and left early as well. he always had an excuse. when we walked into the room on friday, it was evident we had made a dire mistake. I texted Julie and asked her if she could make sure we got our supplies brought all back up here. come to find out they had only spent $223.23 at Lowes. It appears we were scammed. Or I should say my daughter was. John got $1,000 on 6/5/24 for bills and gas. and $500.00 more on 6/7/24 for a trailer he had rented. We have tried to reach out to him and he does not answer. Julie says that's between us and him and wants no part of this.

He did a great job

John and Judy we're absolutely fantastic everything was top notch from the beginning phone call to the end of completing the job. They were both courteous and kind and honest and very pleasant to be around. The services they provided were the best I've ever had during my lifetime if I could give them 10 stars I would. I can only say if you need a good handyman give them a call. I will be using them again for sure for other projects these folks are the best in the business.
