It was fine. They were trying to sell me a lot of stuff. They could have been right, maybe they were but they have had a lot of costly suggestions.  They were very nice and came when they were supposed to. I have nothing against them more than I was not able to purchase a whole lot of different tads and whatever they wanted to sell me.

Service was performed satisfactorily.  Aesthetics of drip system installation was not top end but system is working well.  Tom was pleasant to work with and followed up to make sure all was well. <br />

The service was fine. Everything was good after they left. I felt it was well worth the money.

Went well.  It was a simple sprinkler test and adjustment. <br />

Tom Wilhelm and his main helper, George, are both very professional and knowledgeable.  They arrive on time, do a great job for a fair price, and warranty their work.If we had an emergency, Tom was always willing to fit us in to take care of us; night or weekend, no problem.A tragedy has occurred in this family and business.  I understand that Tom's son will attempt to carry on with the business.  The times he worked for me he did a great job, although not as good as his father.  I wish him the best of luck.Odd that all these people are posting complaints about no one calling them back; obviously they're not reading what happened.

Everything was great.  They met my schedule, finished in one day.

Tom, the owner, did a wonderful job. It's the best service we've ever had with any kind of contractor. We've just been amazed.  There was no issue about coming back to tweak things and get them just right because the job was so big.  They really almost got it all nailed the first time which is unusual for a 1/2 acre.  I also got other bids.

Great.  Everything works fine and I didn't waste $$ on things that didn't need doing.  I could not be happier.  I'm so glad I called for another opinion rather than spend $950 on Richard's sprinklers co.

He really seemed to care about what he did and the work turned out well. He was also very good about explaining what he was doing. When we had other people come out to give us estimates and he seemed to be the only one who came out and really took the time to figure out the problem.

Tom, the owner, had previously come out to my home on two occasions. Initially, he informed me the leak I called him about was not caused by my sprinkler system, but rather by a leak in my water softener system. He advised me my best option was to call a plumber, which I did. The problem was resolved and Tom did not charge me for a service call.  A few weeks later, I called and had Tom do a check-up on my sprinkler system and he replaced several sprinkler heads and changed out a drip system in one area with traditional sprinkler heads. His work was completed quickly and his price was very fair. I took advantage of a 'special' the company was running. Late in April, I came home about 7:30 pm to realize one of my backyard sprinklers had been running non stop for over two hours. I made several attempts to turn off the system manually, but could not. I shut off the water to the house, but to my surprise, it had no affect on the sprinkler system.  The City of Yorba Linda was willing to come out and shut off the water for a fee, but that did not resolve the bigger problem.  Once again, I called Tom.  He patiently listened to my problem, tried to troubleshoot over the phone and when that was unsuccessful, he said he'd get dressed and be at my house within 30 minutes.  Apparently, Tom had already retired for the night, it was after 9 pm.  Tom arrived, assessed the problem as a bad valve, and fixed it on the spot, holiding a flashlight while he worked.  As it turns out, he replaced three valves at my request.  I was so thankful that Tom was willing to make a late night house call and solve what could have been a very big problem for me.  Thank you Tom.  I've already recommened you to two neighbors and would not hesitate to call you for work in  the future. 

I had an appointment scheduled at 9 AM two weeks prior to the scheduled date.  On the day of the appointment, one one showed up.  I called at 10AM to make sure that appointment was still on and was told that indeed it was.  I was told that Tom might be on another job and will call me asap to let me know what time he would come.  At 11AM, Tom left me a message that he was headed to Westminster for a job and will be at my house in an hour or so, which would be 12PM, 3 hours after the scheduled time.    Tom never showed up or called at 12PM, or any time after that.  And it's been more than 2 weeks, and I have not heard back from them since to even attempt to re-schedule.  I understand they get a great deal of good reviews and might have the good fortune of having more business than they can handle.  However, not even calling to let me know that they could not make it is just plain flaky. 

I have approximately 900 square feet of grass in my back yard that had deteriorated steadily over the last ten years despite quite a bit of attention from me and my lawn care providers.  Tom and a team of five tore out the existing grass, tilled the remaining soil, replaced several broken sprinklers, deposited a lot of new soil, and laid down new sod. <br /> <br /> The whole process took about a day and a half. <br /> <br /> During the sod installation, a wire in my landscpare lighting was accidentally cut.  Tom came back and fixed the problem a few days later.

They have exceptionally strong customer services. They did excellent with the follow up for me with questions I had.

They are personable and did a good job.

I prefer not to disclose the amount that I spent on their services.  I wouldn’t suggest using them.  My husband and I are in our seventies and we can’t do anything much anymore.  I asked them if they would come back every three or four months and check and see how things are for maintenance.  I asked if they had a maintenance programme and they said they did.  So I gave them a call and they said that they would call back.  I can’t tell about the timing because they never did call back.  They were not so responsive.  If they weren’t interested in doing the maintenance work, they could have just told me.  I could have found someone else.  They gave so many reasons for not calling back like the receptionist was at the doctor’s or the guy was not available.  That’s kind of bad.  They could have just said that they didn’t have a maintenance programme and that was fine.  I did hire someone else who is doing a maintenance programme for me.  I think Wilhelm Sprinkler Co over charged me but that’s okay.  I thought they would have had a certain level of professional quality but it wasn’t like that.  They were responsive and punctual until that time.  I will not use their services again in the future.

Came out to the house, identified several problems and fixed them in less than an hour. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company.

My problem involved my outdoor sprikler system. The system has 24 operating stations with well over 250 heads, so it is fairly expansive. On a Friday night I was running the whole system when I realized stations 1 thru 8 were not operating. The next morning (Saturday) I checked each of the 1 thru 8 stations directly at the valves. I could operate manually so I thought I had an electrical problem from control box to the valves in the yard. Nightmare. Somewhere the electrical current had to have been cut . <br /> <br /> I called Tom on Saturday morning and he answered the phone directly. I explained the situation and he said he could come out that afternoon. I said I did not want to pay extra for weekend work and he said he does not charge extra for weekend work so we agreed to meet the next day, Sunday at 11:00. He arrived on time and gave me a call before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. After inspecting  the system he found the problem pretty quickly. Rats had eaten through the electrical wiring  at the wall in the garage where the line went outside causing the sytem to malfunction. He repaired the line and the system works perfectly. <br /> <br /> Tom was ontime and upfront explaining the problem as well as personable. The charge for the work was reasonable. (He was on site for 90 minutes, but only charged for 60 minutes)
