There is probably not enough room to describe how satisfied we are with the work that Mary Williams and her team did. We loved our landscaping before the hurricane......we love it lot's more now. Mary designed a completely new look for our property. Larry and his team installed the landscaping, and hooked up all the flower pots to our irrigation system in the most efficient and effective manner that one could imagine.

Unhappy with followup service calls when many plantings died. Owner never responded to messages left that we were unhappy customers. Took four appointments, three canceled at the last minute, to come out and look at dead plants. Irrigation was to have been inspected first time work was completed to ensure adequate watering. After finally getting Dana to visit , some of the plants were replaced but not all. They had an irrigation expert come out again and we were charged another $400 to do what should have been done the first time.

Awful! Previously I gave them an all around A rating for some tree trimming and other work. I had planned to use them twice a year for this work. Now I'll have to find someone else because they shafted me on this small job. I called to see if they could handle the investigation of a 3'x3'x3' hole where our pool overflows and some plants had died. I had already attempted to fill the hole with about 15 bags of dirt, sand and gravel and it did not do the job. I sent pictures via email and they quoted me $165 for time and material. I thought that was high but I didn't know who else to call and they were the experts so I agreed. They did not send out an expert. They sent out 4 grunt workers. We tried to communicate with a language barrier for the first 15 minutes. Then one or two did some digging to see if there was a pipe leak in the sprinkler system. (Four people plus me and my husband for a 3' hole is too many cooks in the kitchen.) We found no evidence of a leak so we used a hose to see where the water flowed. The verdict was heavy rains cause erosion. The solution, fill with dirt. So I asked them to fill the hole. They said they didn't have any dirt and it would cost their time to go back to Naples to get the dirt. What the heck did I hire you to do? I agreed to pay for dirt. Why didn't they bring any?! So I'm now thinking I owe only $165 for 2 men to work for an hour (only about 15 minutes of hard labor) and 2 men to stand around for an hour. Fine. I've learned a lesson about service on the island. I got lucky the first time and this is payback. I paid Tommy Cody, my lawn guy who started doing lawns for Deltona when the island was built buy dirt from Ace Hardware so I didn't get my car dirty. Then I get the bill for $330 for 2 hours of labor. I inquire and I'm told it included transportation time from Naples. They did NOT tell me that. If they had, I probably would have hired someone on Marco. I told them how upset I was about them not doing the job by not bringing dirt. I agreed to pay for one hour of labor ($165), not two ($330). The response was, sorry no discount. $165 seems like an extremely high trade-off for your reputation and repeat business. Tommy Cody is getting a hefty loyalty bonus from me in addition to his time and materials.

It is unfortunate that a resolution was not to your satisfaction as you had given us an "A" rating just months before now. When we come out for a troubleshooting job, we cannot possibly know all the material we will need. That is why it is called troubleshooting. We do inform all our customers the jobs quoted include drive time and that is why we try to group them in close areas to keep the costs low. Companies that are not invoicing drive time are raising their costs in other ways to cover that expense, we do not charge that way and are upfront with our customers for their charges. We did perform the work as requested and were thankful it was an easy fix & not a major break (which is what you had thought and 2 other experts told you when they could not figure out how to fix it). Williams Magical stands behind our work and our employees that is why we have been in business over 40 years in Naples. We are quite offended you called our employees "grunt"workers. The supervisor sent to you has been employed with us over 15 years and speaks perfect English - our regular customers love him. We will do your tree work, at your request, and hope that we can continue to keep you as a satisfied tree customer."

All I have to say is that I was massively impressed. We just moved to Marco and we were under a lot of stress with the move and everything that needed to be done with the house. We'd gotten the runaround from so many people before we joined Angieslist and started getting good referrals. Magic came in so much lower than the other estimate that I was afraid. Then to top it off they said that they would clean the gutters for free after cutting down all the coconuts (since they'd be up on the roof anyway). <br /> The price wasn't cheap because we needed a lot done, but it was so much lower than the first estimate. My gut was telling me to trust them as opposed to the other quote that felt like they were trying to rip me off. My hubby and I signed the contract on the spot and they came 2 weeks later as promised (just after Xmas). <br /> They were friendly and knowledgeable. They were clean and efficient. <br /> I was even surprised to get a hand written thank you note. I have personally referred them to 2 other people. <br />

They worked everything into our time line with the contractor, not an easy task. Dana and her team were always on time and stayed to finish each aspect of the landscape. We had some concerns because our property is on a river and FEMA has very strict regulations for such places. Williams understood all those regulations and worked within the boundaries to give us what we wanted. <br /> <br /> After finishing we did have some problems with too much rain in the yard and the fountain. They returned to help us solve our problems and make sure the fountain was set in properly. <br /> <br /> I really can't think of a don't. We were very impressed with Dana's knowledge, responsiveness to our requests, and especially her creativity. We could never have imagined anything as beautiful as it turned out. <br /> <br /> The cost may seem high, but there was an enormous amount of work to be done. They did it quickly in a matter of weeks. We were in the process of finishing new construction which turned out well, however, it was the landscaping that was really important to me and what has made it all look terrific. We couldn't be happier. <br /> Do: Contact them even if you think your job may not be this inclusive.

We needed a vision to change the landscaping in our back yard and certainly got an unexpected but great one from Dana at Williams Magical. It took me by surprise at first because it was quite different, but it met all of the requirements I gave her, and we have come to love it. We wanted to visually expand our lanai, and asked for plants the deer wouldn't finding inviting. As we live in a neighborhood with a strict HOA, it took a couple of revisions to gain acceptance, but Dana redid the plan and spoke with the HOA on our behalf. This took some time but was well worth it. The crew was exceptional. They worked in brutal Florida summer weather and did everything we asked with great detail. <br /> The front yard was going to be an enhancement of the existing plants, but when I expressed concern that it didn't look as I had hoped, Dana did a revision on the spot and we love the result. It is lush, colorful, and welcoming. <br /> <br /> <br />

The crew arrived early on the morning of the trimming, transformed a misshapen tree canopy into a shapely one, cleaned up the mess they made, and departed. We couldn't have asked for a less intrusive and professional crew. Newly trimmed, the tree now lets sun through to the plants that the garden center's landscapers installed the next morning.

<p>Mary made two designs, one that would have removed the current walkway and installed 2 new ones. The other design kept the current walkway and was the one we chose. It was simpler and better suited my husband's tastes and level of interest in gardening and mine and featured plants and ground cover that were low-maintenance. Mary was equally enthused about whichever of the two designs we chose. The day before this landscape was installed, Tommy Williams, and his crew trimmed the oak. (More details about that trimming in a review on his work.) On the day of the installation, the two-man crew that did the actual hands-on landscaping work pulled up the scraggly vegetation that was already on site, prepared the ground with soil moist and 2 kinds of fertilizer, planted 6 different kinds of plants and 1 kind of ground cover, added mulch, and in two different places where plants weren't wanted or wouldn't grow, rock egg. I can't speak highly enough of the positive attitude and level of professionalism the crew expressed in their work.</p> <br />

Had a complete yard and landscape makeover. Great design and they were friendly to work with. There were up to 9 labors working at one time. Took almost 3 full days from start to finish. They worked hard and are very polite. Listened to our concerns and did their best to satisfy us. I don think they are the cheapest guy in town but the price was fair and we are very happy, and it went smoothly. The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. They have been in business a long time and we would use them again if we had to do it over. Dana was the person in charge of our project and she was great. They all were great. The results amazed us. <br /> <br /> <br />

They were wonderful. Would highly recommend them. They were fast, punctual, and professional. :) <br /> After the job was complete we walked the yard to be sure everything was perfect. They did a great clean up. Will always use them in the future! <br /> I found them with a coupon in the Naples paper but when it came time to pay I forgot to use the 15% coupon!!!!! <br /> I still think about that because it would have saved me 90.00!!!!! <br />
