They were fabulous. It was apparent they had done this many times before, each crew member knew his job and stayed on task. Would definitely recommend.

I instructed them several times where water needed to drain, they paid no attention and had to rmove a 4X15' section to keep from flooding my backyard, after several years the front portion failed I offered to split the cost to repair and they blew me off, when i went to try and repair it my self the asphalt was 1" thick

In July of 2016, we had a 2000 sq ft driveway installed. It took about 2 days with a crew of 4 and they did an excellent job. The driveway looks very good. Our problem was with the PR guy, son-Conway. When winter came. the rain washed into the garage, so we called him to come and check out the problem. Then the trouble began; his phone 'mailbox' was always full--thus could not leave a message. I called the company phone and left a specific message to be related to the owner and father,William Stanley. I do not think he ever got the message. By now-it is 6 weeks later after sending emails and trying to leave messages on the phone. Finally, in an email, we said we were going to call the Attorney General. The next day, Conway showed up at the door (no return phone call) and we showed him the problem. His response was:" we will get to you in 7-10 days." Well, 2 weeks went by and we started trying to call and sent several emails, to no avail. Being frustrated, again we said we were contacting the AG and lo and behold--a crew showed up the next day to solve the drainage problem.( 3 months after the initial contact) His employee, Victor, attempted several different solutions and finally fixed the issue. Unfortunately, all the equipment and heating messed up that part of the driveway! In an email back to the company stating this new problem, we were again ignored. It is hard to rate a company on it's workers because the end result was acceptable. They just need a new PR representative.

I would not trust him, make sure you get everything down in writing from him. They broke a pipe buried in our front yard which cost an additional $400, I was quite dissatisfied. The work looks bad, and they are always hard to get a hold of.

Horrible!
They ran out of product and had to come back the next day to finish the job. All looked well until it rained and a large pool formed in front of the garage. I called William several times and finally got a response. He said they would be out the next day to resolve the problem. He never showed or called. After several calls again, he came out to look and promised to fix it 'right away'. Well that didn't work either. Finally after sevral calls and missed appointments, they came out and put an ugly patch in front of the garage (while I was at work). That was not satisfactory and when it rained again, the water pooled around the patch again.
Long story short, I ended up filing a complaint with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and had a reputable company repair the mess Stanley made and re-seal the driveway. It took over a year to get the driveway fixed correctly.
This company has been the subject of several complaints and television reports on shoddy work practices and yet he is still licensed to operate in Oregon. He changes the name of the company alot to get a new license and CCB number and continues to do shoddy work.

Brent came to examine the area and promptly gave a proposal. The crew arrived early on the day as scheduled. They used heavy machinery to excavate the 10 ft. wide by 210 ft driveway taking out all of the ruts and leveling the drive for a smooth surface. Next several dump trucks came with 3/4" minus gravel that was spread onto the driveway. A large roller was used to compact the gravel. Asphalt was applied and rolled smooth. The crew of about 6 men was polite and worked steadily throughout the day long job. The result was a beautiful transformation from a horrible driveway that was muddy in winter rainstorms, to a black asphalt drive that is a pleasure to use. Also the gravel area they created next to the garage looks so much better and will provide extra parking. We were surprised at how much this improved the look of our property. We had three bids for this work and they provided the most services and finished area for the cost.

My contacts with Brent Groskopf and William Stanley has been the most unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience I have ever had with any contractor. Not only was the work not done within promised time but when the crew finally came to pave the driveway and parking area they did not finish the parking area. Only after a letter of July 19, 2006 was faxed to William Stanley did the crew come and finished paving the parking area. Yet, an invoice was written and mailed to me on July 15, 2006 for ''completion of work...'', four days before my July 19, 2006 letter reg. unfinished work. Both Mr Groskopf and Mr Stanley have been extremely un-cooperative when I and my son tried to talk to them and at times Mr Stanley was very unpleasant to us both. I advise anybody to stay away from this company. I only wish that the letter of Aug. 2, 2006 from another customer had been available to me before I signed the contract in May. It could have saved me a lot of grief. How do they stay in business.
