Willy's Tile

Willy did an excellent job for us. He was prompt in arriving to do a quote, very friendly, and told us exactly what needed to be done. He actually provided a better service than we were asking for. Once the work was quoted Willy did the work when he said that he would and the work he did was wonderful. I am very impressed with his craftsmanship and his level of customer service. The price was fair and I even recommended Will to my elderly father.

Willy was timely in completing the job and doing what he said he would. He had us shop for some of the big items which ended up working fairly well. We liked all the guys he had working for him. <br />

Willy's Tile. He did tiles and i asked if he could replace toilets, which was cheaper that hiring a plumber and they came and did the work. The only problem was that they ended up breaking a pipe and said they probably should have held some part when they undid it. Water covered the entire hallway downstairs, but they finally got it cleaned up but was pretty disappointing that it happened. Willy is professional and i would consider hiring him for tiles. The upstairs toilet they replaced is still leaking and it's probably not there fault. I hired a plumber who said the problem was with the toilet itself. They got it done in four hours and it created a big mess with the water.

Several months ago my wife and I had our master bath remodeled by a local contractor with many written recommendations. The remodeling job was a disaster. The plumbing fixtures leaked within the wall <br /> which caused subfloor damage and mold and mildew behind the wall and vanity. Cracks in the grout developed almost immediately after the project was completed.  A shower wall that was installed was not installed to the existing wall properly which resulted in a very unstable shower wall. The shower floor was not installed properly thus water from the shower did not flow to the shower drain but puddled at the side of the shower floor. <br /> After looking at Angie?s list we contracted with Willy?s Tile to make the required repairs to the faulty work completed by the original contractor. The repairs were extensive and we are 110% satisfied with the work <br /> that was done by Willy?s Tile.  <br /> The work was done professionally and to our complete satisfaction. A new wall was installed and plumbing redone to perfection. The subfloor was repaired in the shower and a new shower pan and tile was installed. The slope was corrected so all water flowed to the drain. Additionally, all other inferior, unprofessional faulty work performed by the original contractor was repaired by Willy?s Tile to our complete satisfaction. <br /> We did not know exactly what repairs needed to be done as we continued to discovered faulty work by the first contractor as the repair work progressed. Willy was very professional in performing the repairs, showed us <br /> daily the problems he discovered in the original work and made all repairs professionally and to our total satisfaction. <br /> We were very please with the quote we received from Willy?s Tiles for the repairs and feel the quote was more than justified for the quality and professionalism of the work performed by Willy?s Tile.  The crew from Willy?s Tile were courteous, professional and focused on ensuring that the repair worked performed was to our expectation . The attention to detail exhibited by the men from Willy?s Tile was beyond our expectation. <br /> I recommend Willy?s Tile for any work needed whether new or repair. We got 2 more projects planned, the remodeling of a guest bathroom and a brick patio. We plan to use Willy?s Tile exclusively for both projects without seeking any other bids.  <br /> <br />

I hope I do justice in writing about our experience with Willy's Tile. We have done other home renovations over the years and none were as satisfying as our experience with Willy's Tile. This was a fairly big project. Our master bath was completely renovated. All the old fixtures, cabinets, countertop, and flooring were removed. We also redesigned the space, so significant changes were made in the room. Willy and his team were professional, polite, friendly, and well qualified to do the work. I had a "vision" for the space without the help of a designer and Willy worked with me to make it happen and actually his experience helped to improve the finer details. The tile work is beautiful. He designed a lovely niche in the shower for soap and shampoo. The details are truly a work of art. Every detail came together so well and in a timely manner. As in all renovations, there are hidden "surprises" like a section of floor that we were unaware that had water damage. Willy's philosophy is "THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS, ONLY SOLUTIONS" and it relieved anxiety when a few unforeseen issues arised. The project exceeded our expectations. All materials from the tear-down were hauled away. I cannot think of one negative remark. We expect to call on Willy's Tile to renovate another bath and put hardwood flooring in our living room space. I am sorry I did not know about him when we renovated our kitchen a few years ago. I am looking forward to working with him and the crew again in the near future. I highly recommend Willy's Tile and with great appreciation thank him for the amazing work he did in my home. <br />

Excellent job, Arrived on time, finished in 2 days (grouting), courteous, pleasant, cleaned up all. <br /> I bought all of the material - ceramic tile, ceramic border, ceramic bullnose, Price was labor only + grouting. <br /> <br /> <br />

Willy showed up as promised to do an estimate. I was looking for a bathroom remodeling solution that would not require removing all of the existing wall tile from the 1960s. Willy suggested a much more reasonable solution than another contractor who did an estimate because he replaced the old tile around the new tub with decorative tile to give the whole bathroom a newer look. He actually completed the whole job while I was out of town on vacation, which saved me time getting the house on the market. He was very professional in all of my dealings with him. My only complaint is that his crew did not haul off the trash from the remodeling job. <br />

the bathroom was demolished to the studs. Willy had a team for the demolish, a guy for tile, a guy to paint, and a plumber to install the faucet. really unbelievable with the transformation. the tile installed was real nice with the border. I saw the tile in Lowes and it looks a lot better in my shower than it does in the store. Willy knows his colors and he matched exactly what I described. His attention to detail is something that impressed me.  I could not be any happier how it turned out. <br />

Willie Rafael, the owner of Willie's Tile, explained that he was very busy with <em>Angie's List</em> recommended work, and it took several weeks for him to be able to come to our home and quote the job. However, he did come himself and quote the job. We agreed to the price and the work to be done. He said he would call to let us know when the work could be done. I waited several weeks, and then sent Mr. Rafael text messages reminding him of the job we wanted done. After about 9 weeks from the time I first contacted him, the work was scheduled to be done. He had instructed us as to the type and amount of tile to buy and have on hand. Mr. Rafael and a worker came on a Thursday morning. The bathroom toilet was removed along with old linoleum  and carpet. Baseboard and shoe moulding were also removed and set aside. Mr. Rafael left and his worker laid the tile. The worker said that he would "probably" return the next day (Friday) or Saturday. He did not come either day. On Monday, I texted Mr. Rafael and asked him if our worker had been moved to a different job. Mr. Rafael said that the worker would arrive after lunch that day. He also told me that I needed to furnish the grout mix, and a new wax ring for the toilet, items that had not been discussed before. (We also later needed to purchase a water supply line for the toilet connection because the old line was now too short.) The worker arrived as promised and completed the grouting. As the worker was cleaning up and preparing to leave, I asked about the replacement of the toilet and the moulding, etc. Things got a little confusing at this point. There did not seem to be a plan for the toilet to be replaced and the moulding re-installed. However, I asked the worker to call Willie and ask when these things could be done. Briefly, another worker needed to become involved, but by the end of the day, everything had been replaced. We were disappointed that the trash from the job was left for us to remove. <br />      Mr. Rafael is very personable and knowledgeable. I believe he is an expert at what he does. I also believe that he carefully chooses his workers, and he seems to have an excellent network of highly skilled workers. The tile work is beautiful and flawless. I am very happy with the work. I would certainly consider using his company again. <br />      I began to feel as if I was begging/badgering Mr. Rafael to do this small job for us. It may have been too small for his close attention. If I had not continued to text and remind him of our agreement, I do not think the work would have been done. I would have preferred to know "up front" what I needed to furnish. Perhaps this was a failing on my part for not asking specifically. Generally, the job did not go as smoothly as I expected. Much more supervision and initiation of communication was needed on my part for the job to be finished. <br />

Outstanding, pleasant staff, including the best tile work I've ever seen. Willy allowed me to purchase vanities,toilets, faucets, tile, etc. so I could use highest quality items and he provided labor and basic supplies. Willy is honest and treats his people well and I will use him again for any future project. <br />

Excellent work.  My new floor is beautiful. Very Professional men.. Outstanding work was done. Very polite,kind,and questions answered. <br /> I will definitely use Willy again for my next tile project.The tile was cut to perfection in difficult places,  Every fine detail was taken care of.The base board and moulding is beautiful.I am very happy with his work.I loved the fact that I was able to choose any tile I wanted and Willy picked up all materials and applied beautiful matching grout.Work was completed on schedule. <br />

Outstanding work.  Willy and his team are simply the best.  These guys are craftsmen.  Whether tile, painting or plumbing - and all the small details that go along with any job, these guys are terrific.  I can be a demanding buyer - yet there were no surprises - except for how well everything went.  I would not hesitate to recommend Willy for any remodeling/tile work that you need.  He sweats the details - effortlessly.  By far not my first rodeo, and I have never experienced working with a contractor that was as effortless and as rewarding as with Willy and his team.   <br /> <br /> <br />
