Window World of NW Indiana

Excellent. Very professional at very reasonable prices. They were fast and courteous and definitely went the extra mile with one window needing a new frame as well, which was no additional cost. Also very appreciative of the lifetime warranty!

The gentleman who did the original estimate was very personable and honest with what was to be done. He is good at what he does, and is an asset to Window World. The owner, Bill, then came out to finalize the estimate, and was able to save me more money by narrowing down what was to be actually accomplished. The two installers that came to do the job were very courteous, and apparently had a lot of experience doing window replacements. I was told they would be done by the end of the work day. They showed up at around 9:30 in the morning, and to my surprise, were finished by about 12:30. They made the installation look like a piece of cake. They did a very nice job finishing the inside framing the way I wanted it, and the outside looked very good as well. I am very happy with the job they did, and would certainly hire Window World again.

They were good. They did a nice job, cleaned up well and they know what they are doing,.

Team showed up as expected and completed the work quickly and professionally. I plan to use them again for the large picture window and all basement windows next year.

Overall, great experience. Everything was explained, work was done ahead of schedule and I plan on calling soon to start replacement on some other windows. The only feedback I would like to provide is that it would have been nice to receive a followup call post installation after a few weeks to see how things were going.

They were really good. They came out and did an estimate with us. He provided us with lots of options. It was done in a timely manner. They came out and got it knocked out in about two days. They were definitely the best priced for as big of a project as we had.

The workers were on time, very courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were completely pleasant throughout the day.  I could not be happier with the work, the product and the installers.  The slider 'slides' so smooth and effortlessly.  I recommend this company without hesitation!!!! <br />

Bill the owner, came to our home on time as scheduled.  I was immediately comfortable with his approach and professionalism.  We mutually determined which windows and what model would be the best application for the project at hand and he provided a no-cost quote.  I finished my interviews with other suppliers and was surprised the range of prices for the same two windows. The range was $3700-$1100.  I work in global Supply Chain/Procurement and could quickly determine that for many of the competitors the major difference in price is the overhead of advertisements/company cars/matching uniforms, etc.. I found through research that the majority of the various companies windows are extremely similar and that the higher priced windows are in most cases not the highest quality and do not carry the same warranty provided by Window world. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />For the quality, guarantee, price and low pressure-high informational value, we received from Bill, we determined, that of the six competitors, Window World was our choice.  Bill returned to our home to finalize the paper work and we determined an installation date. WW called the day before to verify that the next day was still agreeable for the installation.  The next day Roy and Rich arrived on time and immediately began work.  They both kept me informed of the progress, showed me the product/window and thoroughly explained the process.  All the time being very respectful of our historic home.  The job was completed in just a few hours.  Roy and Rich cleaned up, went over the paperwork with me in a very professional manner as well as making sure I was satisfied with the windows and their work. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />It has been a month now and we have decided that we are totally satisfied with Window World as a company, their product and the pleasant and professional team.  So much so that I just left a message with WW asking them to set up a meeting to discuss the replacement of the remainder of the windows in my home.  I am looking forward to seeing Bill again and will request that Roy and Rich make a return trip for what will likely be further window replacements. <br />

<p>I met the owner at the shop, and he gave me some initial information and scheduled a time to come out and get an initial quote.  A salesperson came and measured and demonstrated the different products they offered to see what would meet our needs.  Ultimately, most of my interactions were with the owner and the team leader, so I'm a little confused why they have a sales person to begin with.  It wasn't a big deal, and it didn't affect my decisions one way or the other.  I was impressed with the professionalism and desire to exceed my expectations.  A couple of meetings were scheduled for which they were a little late and didn't call promptly, but I understood it to be a busy time of year for replacing windows, so I had grace for that.  Window World was easily $3000 below every other quote, and everyone I worked with was great.  The craftsmanship and warranty on the windows is excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing 1 window or a houseful.</p> <br />

Excellent job, great price!

We got a very good explanation from Bill the owner about types of glass and frames and what make best sense for our budget and energy efficiencies.  We ended up mid grade on most but with the better glass and argon filled - we had a few smaller sized windows on the front and wanted to avoid the construction of making the window sizes bigger.  So we kept the existing opening sizes.  With the smaller window size, Bill suggested we go with the mid grade window for it's frame size so it didn't look to bulky compared to  the smaller glass sections.  We were still able to get the better grade of glass though and that was a very good suggestion on Bill's part.  He was flexible about making the garage windows the more basic type since not heated garage.  We were able to get the huge picture window in the higher grade glass with the chunkier frame - this window is about 11' wide including the flanking attached casement windows.  Again Bill made some great suggestions about what might look best and also have better ventilation.  His estimate was very specific and in writing and was very easy to understand all the ins and outs of what exactly we were being charged for. We had gotten a good word/thumbs up about Window World from a co-worker, and after meeting Bill in person, we certainly felt very comfortable about giving them a large deposit up front. We are very glad for having found Window World  through others Angie's reviews (which I joined specifically for this) as we had gotten concerned about a couple other companies we had talked to.  Window World delivered on time as promised - the windows showed up as expected and exactly the correct size and types of frames & glass.  The work was scheduled as expected by Bill's wife in the office who was very pleasant and professional.   The work was done in 1 and a little more than 1/2 of the next day as expected.  We had them add a window wrap in aluminum like a hefty looking exterior trim and the windows now look so much better than I could have expected. The duo of installers were very polite, very clean (!)  and conscientious of being in our home, worked diligently and did absolutely no damage to anything else in the process. I wish all the trades people were as solidly professional as these folks.  I think their pricing was very reasonable for the quality and service we received.  We are so glad we had Window World do our work - made us feel  at peace that there are still folks out there that do work for others the same way they would for themselves.     To us this was a very major job and it really couldn't have gone any better! <br />

The window installation was great. the patio door was a custom size and it took a while before it could be made and shipped. When the door arrvied, it was the wrong size and we are still waiting for the replacement <br />

Job looked great and no mess was left.  Replaced 8 windows in less than 4 hours. <br />

They did a bay window for us in 2010, and replaced the remaining windows in 2011. These are all over sized windows, which makes this a custom job. The price range they gave us made us want to continue to do business with them. Everyone other company we had quote us was about $15,000.

Wonderful people!  Owners Bill and Niki are just peachy!  Niki runs the <br /> office and showroom.  She showed us the window types and was very <br /> knowledgeable.  She set up an appointment for Bill to come out and <br /> measure our 21 windows and a patio slider.  Bill was a no nonsense guy <br /> who explained exactly what we were getting and didn't hog up the <br /> afternoon B. S.ing us.  He shot us a price which seemed very reasonable <br /> and far below what other companies wanted to charge.  We went with the <br /> top of the line 6000 series. <br /> The installers showed up on time and went to work.  Winds from Hurricane Sandy were quite strong.  The guys <br /> didn't flinch.  They operated as a team and did a beautiful job.  I <br /> can't say enough good things about Will, Wes, Roy and Charles.  They <br /> were all courteous and professional.  The neighbors were also impressed.  <br /> Two stopped by and asked for an estimate. <br />
