All I can say is stay away from this company. The process was a mess to start. The initial salesperson did not listen to us from the beginning and his communication was the worst. You would think that after contacting their sales manager that things would get better, but that was not the case. The total time it took to get our windows from our first contact to the final install and corrections was over 5 months and the COVID excuse was non stop. When you are told 2-3 weeks for your order to arrive and it takes 5 months, there is a problem. Especially since we were the ones who had to call them to ask what was going on. The lack of communication with this group was amazing. They just did not care that we had plastic and plywood covering up large holes in our home for months. We cannot recommend them and I would give a F- rating if possible. Here are the details of our experience. Our first conversation happened in early May at our new home (before we even purchased the home.). After that, there was little to no communication from the salesperson even with multiple emails and phone calls. On 5/18, we reached out to his boss and an estimate was received on 5/21. The estimate was completely wrong and we requested changes. The salesperson never communicated that the changes were made and it took until 6/11 to get the estimate corrected and ordered. We were first told that the windows would arrive 2 to 3 weeks after the order with the large slider being another 2 to 3 weeks after that. On 6/30, I was told that our windows would be in the next week (after I asked again when they would arrive). That did not happen. The windows finally arrived mid-July and the first thing that happened was that they driver dropped the load breaking 4 of the windows and the manufacturer sent a window without the glass. Of the 11 windows that were ordered, 3 were correct. 8 were wrong or broken. It took Window World until late September to correct and fix all of the issues. We had a window without glass in it for almost 3 months! The large slider which was to arrive 2-3 weeks after the window did not arrive until October (almost 5 months after being ordered). We had to call the owner of the manufacturing plant to get it here at that time. Window World was useless in helping us locate that door. The folks at Window World were nice as pie but not helpful in resolving our issues. They installed the windows at no charge, (mainly because we had told them we wanted new construction windows and they provided replacement windows) but that is the extent of the service we received. We cannot say enough about how bad this experience was.

The Window World team is the best contractor in South Carolina I have ever dealt with. Measured and ordered the largest custom window in my house that was fogged. Installed the 2nd story window despite climbing a 2 story ladder in very hot conditions. 4 team members showed up on time, carefully removed the old window and installed the new window that fit perfectly. Very clean, careful and efficient. Highly recommended and would definitely use again. Pricing was very reasonable. Thanks.

We replaced nearly all of our older windows. The sales team was knowledgeable and helpful. We got estimates from over 5 companies and we went with Window World based on price, but more importantly the positive feedback we've heard from neighbors and friends as well as their excellent warranty. We were also pleased to see the many years of customer satisfaction recognition from S.D.Powers & Associates. The installations went very well (thanks to Shane and his great crew). They were extremely friendly and the finish work was of a very high quality. He was eager to please and very polite. We still have a few windows left to replace (including a large picture window over our entry). We will definitely consider Window World for our next window purchase! <br />

We called Window World after reading the reviews on Angie's List. They came out immediately and gave us an estimate for replacement of 11 windows in the house we just bought. The price was decent for double hung vinyl windows. <br /> It took about 6 weeks to have them made. The windows were installed in 1 day. The outside trim was manufactured on the spot. The windows look great and are so much better than the 40 year old windows we had. We were very happy with the quality and the speed of installation. <br />

Visited their store in Mauldin during late August and spoke with Jason, who scheduled a visit with us. Jason came to measure and present us with options. He was very knowledgeable and thorough, a pleasant and friendly young man. Ladies in office were also pleasant and friendly. When the installer told me he needed to work from the inside to replace the windows, I was very concerned about the old plaster walls and the beautiful interior woodwork around the original windows, but the installer did a beautiful job, didn't leave a mark anywhere, and worked very efficiently. <br />

Went very smoothly. We only had to replace a couple windows, but Window World was happy to work with us while other retailers scoffed at the relatively small job that we were requesting. It took about a month or so for the windows to be manufactured. The window installation was quick (about 2 hours), the installers were professional and courteous, reviewing all of the window functions prior to leaving. Very pleasant experience all around. <br />

<p>I shopped around for a new front entryway for my home in many places including DIY stores - Lowes & Home Depot and several made to order companies. I settled on Window World for this purchase as they seem to hit the level of quality versus price that I was looking for. </p> <p>The salesman was very understanding when I told him I was looking at other companies and helped give we a clear estimate of what each choice would cost, should I decide to go with them. I ultimately chose Window World as they were willing to help me search for the exact door/sidelite I wanted; plus the additional security and wrapping of the external trim was what I was looking for. When he came back for us to fill out the paperwork and place the order I was satisfied that I was getting exactly what I had envisioned.</p> <p>I had my entry replaced last week. The team came to my house with pictures (taken by the salesman), so they knew exactly what they were getting into. The removal of the old door was very fast. They were very particular about clearing debris and dust regularly, and the new door and entry was in quickly. I had even had to ask them to raise the entry slightly in preparation for a new floor that is being installed later, they were very accommodating. The worksite was left clean and tidy. The door, side windows, trim, entryway and caulking are all super quality. </p> <p>I would say that although this was not the cheapest option for a front door replacement that I looked at, I am very pleased. I feel like I have purchased a quality product which was professionally installed.</p> <br />

From the sales process through the scheduling and install was a real pleasure. Eric (salesman) was knowledgeable, and the installation team was very efficient and professional. The installers arrived when expected and finished all the work in one day. We love the way the new windows operate, as well as the maintenance free frames. No more painting! We can clean the windows easily from inside the house now. We have not had our cooling system on since they were installed, and there have been several 85 degree days, so I know they have improved the energy efficiency of our home. I highly recommend Window World of the Upstate, and I plan on calling Eric back to get the process started for the windows on the lower level of our home sometime in the next few months. <br />

Original quote had to be redone by owner of Window World Greenville due to questions about measurements. Original quote way too high compared to another local company quoting same services. Dropped pricing about $1K and did the work. Removal / installation services coordinated out of the Greenwood SC office (864 38 9046). Very professional service done on time on quote. The lifetime guarantee really works. Just call in with the window serial number and a tech comes out the next business day. <br />

Salesmen came out on time and gave wretin estment for 12 new dubble pain inslated lowE coated windows. After decding to go with window world i called them and setup a time to install the windows installers came in the morning and where done in a day and calked all the jonts left 3 tube with me. I called to meet with salesperson to set up appointment for new windows. When I met with salesperson, he was very nice and professional and had a lot of information for me about the windows. Estimate was given and I was sold! I have a lot of windows so the price was awesome! Installers were great too! First day they did the entire 2nd floor, then the main floor and finally they finished with the basement. The whole job took about 2-3days. Love our windows and the guarantee is great!! <br />

They explained exactly what they were going to give me. We went around the house and he told me what I could get for the price. He gave me options on what I could get for the price. And I was able to choose the windows that was best for me. I had no problem with what they done. They cleaned up after the job was done and I was very satisfied with the overall service.
