They replaced all of my windows in 2008 but had to call them back out. they didn't include any drip cap or caulking over the windows. That allows rain to get inside and then wood rots. What kind of window company doesn't know this? Fast forward 11 years later when I'm preparing to sell my house. I request replacement parts for windows that aren't working properly. This should have all been included under warranty but all I hear is complaining about they shouldn't have to deal with it. I call the production manager monthly, for a year, to find out the status of my parts. He always promises to call me back but never does. Every time I ask him about the status, he tries to blame me saying I didn't do my part. I finally sell my house for less money because we didn't fix the window issues. Do not trust this company to install the windows correctly or honor the warranty!

Poorly at best. Door ordered 10/2/2019. Told it would be approximately 6 weeks for manufacture and install. Called Sales Mgr at 8 weeks to ask for an update. Called back to say factory was experiencing slow deliveries, would let me know updated install date. Door eventually arrived but discovered at first attempted install that it was incorrect (active door on opposite side). wanted to install anyway but we declined and asked for correct door as ordered and confirmed. Took roughly another two weeks. Installers came, put door in, cut custom door molding out without asking and generally did a poor job (doors tight in some places, wide gaps in others). Called Installation Manager to come out and evaluate; he came out next day. Wouldn't admit install was poor, all he would say was French Doors were difficult with multiple adjustments often needed. Promised to have his "best installer" come out to correct misalignment and repair damage. First scheduled date passed without anyone showing up or calling. Called again and scheduled again. Door shimmed into correct operating position and damaged molding replaced. Would not recommend due to poor workmanship and length of time to complete job (delay in manufacture, incorrect product delivery, re-manufacture, poor install, length of time to get corrections made).

Windows were as specified (Andersen 100 series). Installation crews were non employee subcontractors. Work was marginal, leaving residue on window frames and glass.

Excellent service. Great price and product. Installers were fantastic....couldn't even tell they had done work in the house because they cleaned up the area so well.

Went well. The crew showed up on time and they did a great job. They completed on time. Very satisfied with the end product.

The service was good.  I can't complain about the service.  They came in and did exactly what they said they were going to do. There's no such thing as perfect.  Give them the opportunity to give you a quote.  They completed the job in one day, they cleaned up very well afterwards and the workers were great.

This was a professional experience from quoted proposal to completion. Mike answered all of our questions quickly, accurately, and is a consummate professional. Our 20 windows took 3 days to install, exactly as quoted. Kurt and his team took care to prevent damage to floors, showed up on time and cleaned up each day. Windows were cleaned inside and out. The finished product is flawless and we are delighted with the results.

They were able to give us an accurate estimate at their showroom (which they staff during open hours unlike some of their competitors). They listened to what we were trying to accomplish and provided the product best suited to our needs without trying to up-sell us (again unlike one of their competitors). They came out to the house to verify the estimate and confirm the information we gave them, gave us a time frame for the delivery and installation and delivered on time, if not early, for a third of the cost quoted by another company. They arrived on time for the installation and actually finished sooner than the estimated time they gave us for the install.

We're pleased with their work. They worked together as a team and they did good work. They took their time and they made it look nice. They were very professional. They came when they said they would and finished up when they said they would. In fact, our neighbors down the street saw them and asked who I used, and they did windows for our neighbors down the street.

Let me start out by saying we had never had to have windows replaced before so we were a little gun-shy on picking a company. After doing some research and looking through reviews on Angie's List we decided to call Window World. I had a very pleasant meeting with their sales guy Mike Hefferon and we were given what we thought was a fair quote, so we decided to go with them for our window needs. About 3 weeks after I spoke with Mike we were told our windows were in and we scheduled a time for them to come and install them. Because this was a pretty big project I took the day off of work to be home and make sure the project went well. The crew that arrived was very friendly and we were excited to finally get the work done. I left them alone to get started and went to do some work in my office. An hour or so later I came out to check and realized they had started to install the wrong windows. Two windows that were supposed to be double hung were picture windows and vice versa. I immediately told the crew to stop and they then called the office to make them aware of the mistake. Turns out the person who measured the windows placed the order wrong. So because of this they could not finish the project and we had to wait another 2 weeks to have the right windows ordered. I then had to take another day off of work to have the windows replaced with the correct ones and the project finished. Now I will say that everyone makes mistakes and though this was an unfortunate one that was very inconvenient, I could have overlooked it had that company made an effort to make it right. They did not. I did get a call from the guy who ordered the windows incorrectly on the day of the original instal, but that was just to basically tell me they couldn't correct this issue at that time and we would have to wait another 2 weeks for it to be finished. We never received a call from our salesman to apologize for the mistake or make an offer to help right the inconvenience of me having to miss another whole day of work or the fact that over those 2-weeks, the front of my house looked terrible with half-finished windows. Also over the 2-week span, while we had to wait for the new windows to be installed, I was told I would hear back from someone with an update. Both times no one called me, I had to call them. And to top it off, the crew who finally finished the windows never cleaned them when they were done! How is that a good business practice for a window company? I now have new windows that look pretty good but with glass that is smudged and dirty, and because they are so high (vaulted ceilings), I can not reach them to get them clean without buying a tall ladder or hiring someone else to clean them which means more money out of my pocket! So with all of that said, even though the finished product (besides the dirty glass) looks pretty good. I was overall pretty disappointed with their service and will go with someone else for my window needs in the future.

We heard about this showroom on WBT radio.. Wow! Really nice facility, great information and no pressure. Our salesperson guided us to the exact vinyl Windows we needed. We highly recommend Window. World and Siding. Great job and staff. <br />

They were Great to work with. Calvin, the installation manager came out to the house on time and did a custom measurement. The crew from window World & Siding was very nice and polite, kept everything clean after they worked.  I saw a big difference between window world and siding versus the other service providers we have used in the past. <br />

They were wonderful. We had spoken with other window dealers and after meeting with their salesman we felt very comfortable. He was very well informed and helpful. The entire experience was seamless. We were so pleased that we used them for the vinyl windows in our rental home too! <br />

Excellent experience from start to finish.  Great service by salesman, installation crew was courteous and there when they said they would be there.  They cleaned up at the end of each day.  Very happy with this company and their service. I would highly recommend them and use them in the future. <br />

I contracted with Window World and Siding for them to replace 14 windows. In addition they were to replace siding and perform requisite repairs to structural damage (resulting from a water leak) between the first and second floor in the front of my house. Neither I nor they knew what to expect regarding this repair prior to their removing the existing siding. It turned out to be a very big job which they completed well but not without giving me a reason to be quite unhappy. One of the workmen removed the drapery brackets from above the window inside the master bedroom which was fine except that he did so by yanking two of them out of the wall leaving two holes in the sheetrock. These were left for me to repair. These brackets were screwed into the wall and should have been removed properly. They were not. Instead I was left with the headache of the unnecessary repair. <br /> <br /> Another reason I was given to be unhappy was the cost to replace a few boards of siding over one side of my garage. I was told that this job would be labor intensive and so I accepted the cost as given. As it turns out this job took only about an hour to complete, hardly what I would call labor intensive. Nevertheless, I paid $500 for this! <br /> <br /> Overall, I will say that the crew was nice to work with, courteous and hard-working. They did a great job with the windows and the work outside. I only wish they they had treated the inside of my room with the same conscientiousness. Additionally, I would have appreciated a more fair price on the siding replacement over my garage. <br /> <br /> I contacted the company four business days ago to ask that someone come look at and fix or replace as needed a dented piece of window trim. During my conversation with their representative I expressed my dissatisfaction with the condition of the wall in my bedroom. I was told that he would get back to me about both of these concerns but I have not yet heard back from anyone.

I initially gave a very positive review, but I must now revise. In addition to the positive reviews on Angie's List, much of the reason we went with Window World was the lifetime replacement warranty. I also considered this a large part of our purchase price. However, we recently broke a window and expected a prompt repair. When speaking with Window World we learned that Gorrell, maker of our windows, had gone out of business. Not only would the repair cost several hundred dollars, but the ordering of a new window would take weeks. I later learned that Gorrell went bankrupt only a couple of months after our installation. I believe that Window World should have been aware that the company was in financial distress. Even assuming that they were not aware, they should have demonstrated more initiative in getting our window repaired. After numerous calls, I encountered only indifference. Window World did nothing to assist repair, other than eventually to obtain a quote from Gorrell's successor several weeks after I notified them of the damage. Repair reportedly would take weeks more. There was simply no willingness to help, no sense of urgency, and no assumption of responsibility on their part. I ended up finding a window repair company that was wiling to work on an individual window with a woodgrain grid. This was after multiple visits for estimates, only to have other glass companies fail to get back with their cost, use of vacation time to be home from work, etc.... I fault Window World for exceedingly poor customer service to have left me in that position. I would never use this company again. Ratings given are for customer service.

The crew arrived on time.  Began removing equipment and were working within the hour.  Each window was removed, replaced and finished in a timely manner.  The extra care they took to make sure each window worked perfectly, and that each window was caulked correctly was very professional.  They did not hurry, nor did they doddle.  They took enough time to do the job correctly.  My hat's off to the three man crew. <br />
