Jose came to our 3-flat to take a look at the work we requested in two units. He provided an estimate quickly, and then we agreed on a convenient time for the work to begin. A 2-man crew showed up at the agreed upon time and worked diligently and professionally throughout the day. They communicated consistently about the work they were doing and were very cordial; they cleaned up the work areas nicely. The estimate was right on point. I also referred a friend to Windy City Plumbing and they were very responsive to her as well.

Pathetic. They told me when arrived (2 men) that there was no way the lint filter would've gone into the extrusion pump pit. But they used their motorized snake and could not find anything clogging the pipes to ejector. Then they said if the filter did make its way the ejector, it would have been chopped up into tiny bits and spit out into outside pipe, despite that was opposite of what they said initially. They could not explain the slow drainage then, and actually claimed the drainage was normal though it definitely was not and I told them it was very different from prior to the lint filter falling off. Jose (owner) told me when I called that the service call would be $115 for one hour, if not a lot of time required, could be less. The guys were fairly casual and took less than 45 minutes but still charged $115. They did not give me an invoice or receipt showing what they did. When I did a load of laundry a couple of days later, the washing machine drainage completely overflowed all over the floor, as when they put the p trap back together, there was a big leak created. I sent three emails to Jose telling him that it was worse and that I wanted the written work order sent to me. I got no response at all any of the three times. Had to have someone else fix the leak so I could do laundry, though they caused that leak and I still don't have any paperwork from them as a receipt or work order, though that is required by law from any service provider. I selected them because of their excellent website ratings and I was shocked how bad they were. $115 for no repair, and they actually made it worse.

This is the second time I have worked with Windy City plumbing and they are great. For this services they provided an estimate of $240 for the work of removing the old tub overflow and waste and installing a new one as well as an estimate for a kitchen sink drain. They showed up on time for the estimate (i decided not to do the sink) and for the work. They completed the work quickly and checked with throughout for all decision such as using the built-in drain stopper or the existing drain basket which we went with. <br>At the end of the job, because the work wasn't as much as they had estimated Jose only charged me $125 even though I had agreed already to the initial estimate. Above and beyond my expectations in every regard and I would recommend them to anyone! <br> <br> <br>

I had searched through Angie's list for a plumber to fix the mixing valve for my shower.  The catch was that the maker of the shower was out of business and my own personal search online for replacement parts lead to nothing with one supplier saying its been nearly 5 years since he had seen parts from this company.  A couple of "Angie's list super service award" winners gave me the run around.  Jose at Windy City Plumbing was the man for the job.  He was able to quickly locate a replacement and install it all within a weeks time after getting the run around for a month from others.  All this and his prices are very reasonable. <br />

It was a great experience! Punctual and professional! <br />

Two men showed up very near the scheduled time.  They were courteous and professional, including putting those little shoe covers on to walk through the house.  They worked quickly and gave me a report as to how it had gone.   This was just a regular maintenance rodding, so there was not really a problem to solve, but I have not had any issues with any back ups. I used an Angie's List coupon for this service, so the price was very reasonable! <br />

The two young men were very professional. asked to use an electrical outlet to start the equipment and even asked to use my garden hose to clean the outside of the catch-basin when they were done with their work.  The work was completed within a half hour because they did not run into any problems. <br />

Excellent service -- excellent price.  The technicians showed up on time and performed the contracted service in a very professional manner.  I definitely would use them again. <br />

Workers Chris and Eric used two sizes of rodders to clear the line. Filled one side of sink with water to check that water flow was clear. Job well done. Chris cleaned up splatter on wall with sponge and cleaner. <br />

Great!  The appointment was easy to schedule online via Angie's List, which I prefer over calling by phone.  The employee showed up promptly, was nice and professional, and did the work quickly with no problems.  The price was much better than the last company we used.  I would definitely recommend. <br />

It went fine, he opened sewer line. Additionally, he rodded the toilet and was very professional and courteous. <br />

Recently, while doing laundry and during heavy rains, water would come into our basement through the floor drain.  Our issue turned out to be a partially blocked sewer line.  The guys from Windy City Plumbing INC were able to unblock the our sewer line and remove the tree roots, wipes and lint that caused the blockage.  <br /> They gave us good recommendations for maintenance and easy tips to prevent this from happening in the future.  They also pointed out an unrelated issue with a downspout which we need to address. <br /> They arrived during our scheduled one hour window and provided thorough, professional service. <br /> I highly recommend their services and would use them again. <br />

The crew showed up on time and found the connection to the city pipe.  They did an outstanding job!  I would use them again. <br />
