Wolverine Flooring

The work performed was done fairly well, but the process took much longer than promised. Communication from the company personnel was terrible. I had to constantly ask what was going on. At the end, there was one fairly small item that was not done. I was promised that this item would be taken care of within the next week. After a month, that promise was not kept and any communication to the company was not responded to. I reached out multiple times. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

The job that they said could be done in the 11 days that we would be gone ended up taking 43 days. Part of the quote included replacing a piece of flooring that was defective. We returned home on the 11th day at night and found that they had just finished applying the top coat. The flooring had not been replaced and we found damage to 5 of our cupboards. We were supposed to leave on vacation 2 days after we got home but had to wait 3 days trying to get the company to show up and finish the job. We were gone for 2 weeks and came home again at night and the workman was just putting the finish on the replaced board. He only replaced one half of the board and the stain did not match. The owners were not helpful in giving us a schedule to complete the project and gave us the workers phone numbers and told us to work with them. We finally got the flooring replaced but the color match is still bad and the wood is lower than the floor around it. The molding that they replaced, as they damaged the original, was not properly color matched, the joints are shoddy and some of the nails are sticking about the surface of the wood. We will need to hire another contractor to repair their mess. We would not use this company again and we will never use Angie's List again.

Excellent. The job was completed in the time frame that was provided to us. Initially, the customer service was excellent. All of my questions were answered over the phone and a prompt email quote was provided. An estimate was completed in person with a thorough explanation of the process and what to expect during the refinishing. The end result looks amazing and I am so happy that we decided to take on this project and chose Wolverine to do our hardwood floors. They treated our home with respect and made sure to communicate with me throughout the entire process. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of the services they provide!
