Lou did an amazing job as always. We continue to work with him because he is professional, punctual, and easy to work with. He always explains things fully, sticks to the price he quoted, and makes sure we are happy with the work done (which we always are). <br /> Since we only have one bathroom, each night he would reinstall the old toilet for us. There were some issues with the materials and Lou always worked with the plumber and the plumping supply place to get them fixed.  <br /> Lou came with us when we picked out the materials. He was patient with us as we went back and forth trying to decide on things. We will continue to use his services for other jobs we have around the house. You can't go wrong with Woodhaven.

Windows delivered and safely stacked on front porch.  All windows installed in one day.  Interior window trimming accomplished next day.  Exterior caulking performed a few days later (he waited until a warm spell).  All windows look and work great.  Lou explained how to operate the windows and how to obtain warranty services.  This is not the first time we have used Lou.  All projects are always completed flawlessly and quickly, with zero unexpected problems.  Highly recommended! <br />

When the big snow storm in late October 2011 hit, we had a tree limb go through our roof. I was out of town and my wife called Lou and he came right over the next morning, despite no power and much craziness, and made a quick make-shift repair to keep any leaks out. A week later, he came out and repaired the roof without any issue. His estimate was spot on with the work that was done and we couldn't have been happier. He is very professional, easy to talk to and very nice guy. We highly recommend Woodhaven Development Corp. <br />

The project went smoother than we expected, from demo to completion. As issues came up and/or decisions needed to be made, Lou provided information and suggestions that enabled the project to move forward successfully. Lou couldn't have been more professional. He got back to me immediately, and was able to meet me that same day--after work, at my convenience. I was fully prepared to hear the roof was going to need major work, but after checking out the roof, gutter and attic, he found that a piece of plywood had been installed incorrectly and was starting to buckle, causing the shingles to shift. He said none of the shingles had popped, so I didn't have any leaking issues, and suggested bracing the wood from the inside for $125. I didn't get any other estimates after that and we agreed to do the work the next week. He asked me to send him a list of good times, and we were able to make it work this week instead. He showed up exactly on time--again, at my convenience. He performed the work in exactly the time he thought it would take, and the roof looks 100 percent better--I had expected simply that it wouldn't get worse, but it looks amazing. On top of that, he found a minor issue (a nail through a downspout that was leading to the water backup) and removed it and secured the downspout for no extra charge. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him to anyone.

He was very prompt and got over to me right away. He did an excellent job and very pleasant to have in the house. I was very comfortable with having him around.

Louis Remotti handled the work on my home in a prompt and professional manner from start to finish. He responded to my phone inquiry quickly and came to my home within a few days to give me an estimate. The job consisted of replacing and painting trim around three garage doors, repairing and painting trim around another door plus some additional trim painting. The price he charged for the job was very fair. <br /> Louis shows up exactly when he says he will and does exactly what he says he will do. He is very pleasant to work with and I am very satisfied with the entire experience. <br />

I got their name from Angie's List. They did excellent work. He had not done this kind of work before and went by the picture I showed him on how it was supposed to look. He did fantastic work and it was just awesome. I give him the highest ratings across the board. I will use him again when I decide to have a backsplash placed in my kitchen.

<strong>The Initial Quote</strong> <br /> Lou, from Woodhaven, was very professional and showed up on time for the initial appointment. He gave us a quote in a timely manner and it detailed out the price for each thing we wanted done. That gave us the option to exclude anything if we wanted. We also received a similar quote from another recommended Angie's List company. However, we went with Lou not just because of the price, but because he would do exactly what we wanted. <br /> <br /> <strong>Getting What We Wanted</strong> <br /> Please keep in mind, we had no existing dishwasher. To install one, the other company wanted to remove the entire counter top, move around pieces of the cabinets, install the dishwasher and have us provide a smaller cabinet piece ourselves to fill in the space that would be left. We wanted someone to just cut a hole in our existing cabinet and install the dishwasher. That's exactly what Lou did. Then he took a sample of our current cabinet and stain matched a new filler piece. You can't even tell the piece is new since it fits in so nicely with the rest of the cabinets. <br /> <br /> <strong>On Our Schedule</strong> <br /> What I also liked about Lou is that he came to us when it was convenient. The other company would only come out to work during normal business working hours, so my then fiance (now husband) had to leave early to meet the contractor. Lou met us after dinner at our convenience. <br /> <br /> <strong>Very Helpful</strong> <br /> Lou also offered to pick up any of the other new appliances we needed to save us the delivery cost. He also gave us tips and pointers on how to save money by doing things our selves. However, we said that we'd rather pay him. We're busy. :) He also told us what brands to choose from for our new appliances, faucet, etc. and was willing to meet us at The Home Depot to help us pick something out. I sent him some links to the products I liked and he would get back to me quickly with his opinion of each thing. <br /> <br /> <strong>Finishing Up</strong> <br /> I'm very pleased with all the work done. Lou made sure the work was to our satisfaction. The only negative is that the electrician was hard to get a hold of one day and that meant the day's schedule had to completely change. But it all got done in the time frame that was quoted. Finally, Lou showed up with the bill exactly as he originally quoted <strong>minus</strong> the items I purchased myself. We initially included an allowance for a sink and garbage disposal. Since I purchased those myself, they were subtracted from the bill. <br /> <br /> <strong>Extras</strong> <br /> We had purchased a new kitchen table set and some matching items for the kitchen including a bench and wall shelf. When Lou was over working in the kitchen, we asked if he would install it for us since he had all the tools. He said, "Sure, it will only take me 10 minutes." I expected to see this noted on the invoice which I would have gladly paid for, but Lou didn't charge us for it. That was really nice of him. <br /> <br /> <strong>Overall</strong> <br /> I would definitely use Lou's services again especially since he does everything <em>.</em> <em> </em>His price is comparable to other contractors - or actually less than the other kitchen/bath re-modeler we spoke with. He gets his work done on time. He's very professional, punctual, and easy to work with. We plan on using him again for a new awning and maybe some basement work. When we get new floors, new trim, and new doors, we plan on calling Lou again, too. Very pleased!

Lou Remotti was just the person I needed. From quote through completion he was every bit the professional but personable. He had to special order a door as the dimensions were somewhat unique. The door arrived and was installed perfectly. Lou takes pride in doing a great job and I am very happy with the results. I will not hesitate to call on him again and in fact have already asked him to quote another job for me.

I did not have any problem with their responsiveness or their punctuality because they did show up when they said they would.
