Woodmaster Kitchen and Bath manufactures elegant and elaborate custom cabinetry based on mastering the art of woodworking through generations. We represent the third generation of carpenters in the family in creating and designing fine custom woodwork. We also build custom office cabinets and desks for various types of business firms and residental homes. Aside from custom made wood and cabinetry, we deliver contemporary and traditional kitchens, vanities, bathrooms, entertainment centers, etc., high in quality and sophisticated in workmanship. Our other company, Woodmaster Construction, does general construction work, from specific needs such as roofing or room addition to entire home remodeling. Our designers will assist you through the steps in achieving cabinetry of exquisite style and practical application. Our dedicated, knowledgeable, and productive staff works together to achieve the best outcome for each project with care, professionalism, and in a timely manner. My husband and I hired Woodmasters for a full renovation project after interviewing multiple companies, and we are so thrilled we did! Mike was our project manager, and he was incredible. He was extremely knowledgable, very responsive, and really took the time to understand our needs as well as our wants and was able to give us exactly what we wanted and needed. They set us up with crews that were professional, clean, prompt, and exceeded our expectations. Mike made sure the crews maintained the timeline, which was very important to us, and walked us through each step. Woodmasters helped us achieve our dream home, and we are incredibly happy with the results. We highly recommend working with them!

First, it all started with shopping for a contractor to remodel our 1980 house in today's modern style. I called several contractors to do a free estimate. Some were late, and some were absent. But the team from Woodmaster showed up promptly. His office even called to confirm our appointment the day before. I really appreciate that! We are happy with the price for completing everything much earlier than the anticipated project completion date. The team was very responsive and prompt in reply to my calls/texts, which is very important to me because having misunderstandings or miscommunication about house projects can bring more problems=more cost.
Overall, I highly recommend hiring Woodmaster if you need to get anything done at your house. You can expect good service and great results!

I normally don't leave reviews but this was especially great service. Mike really took the time to plan everything out accordingly. He was on time and even ahead of schedule. We planned to just redo the driveway but ended up fixing flooring, replacing windows with energy savings windows, and fixing up some other things. Really recommend them.

I loved getting a great referral from a friend. Getting great results from a company that has experience. I trusted them with my house, and they made it look more beautiful than ever. So happy with the end results. They redid all of my cabinets in the house and custom-built my closet, and designed my house as well. They killed every single task given!! I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for any type of remodeling.

At first, I was apprehensive that I would hire the wrong Construction comapny and may be disappointed but after careful review of 4 different companies of highly reviewed contractors, and not a jack of all trades of which there are many, I chose WKB Company. WKB came highly recommended by a friend who is a true perfectionist demanding perfection in all aspects of the job. I also, had the pleasure of viewing WKB's completed job in this individual's house. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity for a top-notch remodeling company like WKB to remodel my kitchen and master bath which was almost 40 years old . I am especially pleased with quality of their work as well as professionalism of management and staff. WKB is a 5 star company in every category, from start to finish. <br /> The kitchen and the master bathroom is a dream come true with all the bells and whistles perfectly put together by an outstanding group of professionals. HANAN, the owner of the company and LEE, the main project supervisor, were both diligent and followed through with attention to every detail. We contacted Woodmaster Kitchen & Bath Back in February <br /> of 2014 and immediately felt that the estimate woodmaster submitted was <br /> superior since it covered absolutely everything. <br /> The process of designing and selecting materials was <br /> pleasant and stress free, the work progress, quality and finishes are <br /> remarkable, attention to detail and functionality were also exceptional and can <br /> be contributed to there experience, knowledge and in-house services like <br /> Interior Design, Drafting & Architectural. <br /> The custom matching cabinetry throughout the home, which we <br /> were able to see built in their shop, tied in the old with the new and our home <br /> appreciated in value so we were able to refinance and lower our monthly <br /> payments significantly. <br /> We enjoy and get compliments on our house daily and <br /> recommended woodmaster to all our friends and family. Woodmasters was originally hired just to do interior painting. Mr. Suffer discovered the house was deteriorating and pointed the danger of The ceiling caving in. We decided he was the only one to do the job right. We also appreciated his suggestions in interior decorating and energy conservation. When we need anything done to our house, WE'RE CALLING WOODMASTERS!

In May, 2014 I contracted with WM to do a major remodel on <br /> my home in LA. Lee and Hanan spent a lot <br /> of time with me up front to develop a detailed proposal and then prepared a <br /> statement of work that was comprehensive and specific on the details of the <br /> work and materials they would provide. <br /> This was a major project involving structural changes to my <br /> house, a complete kitchen, living & dining room remodel, rebuilding of a <br /> staircase and fireplace, and new BBQ island on my outside patio. <br /> I was very pleased with the way this company managed every <br /> detail of the work. They were eager to offer <br /> suggestions on many detailed decisions about materials, colors, and all the <br /> many selections one has to make in this type of project. I was impressed that each segment of the work <br /> was handled by a specialist. Structural <br /> modification, plumbing, custom cabinetry, floor tile, carpeting, custom <br /> staircase, remodeled stone fireplace, major electrical work?..all done by <br /> craftsmen that did excellent work. I <br /> needed 3 slabs of granite, and they helped me choose from various sources they <br /> use to personally select, from many available choices, the exact selection I <br /> wanted. They even have their own granite <br /> processing company that sends a separate crew in to precisely measure your <br /> kitchen, cut the granite, and install it in a very short turnaround time. Their factory in Sun Valley makes all the <br /> wood cabinetry. They have a cabinet <br /> ?team? that measures, manufactures and installs the custom cabinets, finished <br /> in the material, design profile and custom finish of your choosing. This turned out great because they reviewed <br /> the layout in precise detail with me so I personally approved every aspect of <br /> the design. <br /> The entire project was completed in about 10 weeks from <br /> start to finish. I?m a hard guy to <br /> please but they really made an effort to provide everything I asked for. A major remodel like mine was a messy process, <br /> but this company worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible, and <br /> was remarkably clean and tidy in their ongoing work. They were generous about doing little extras <br /> I asked for along the way without charging me. <br /> I was impressed that their primary team kept the work moving <br /> consistently with a minimum of slack time that meant the project was completed <br /> quickly, but each element was handled with the care that was needed to insure <br /> the utmost quality. <br /> I would certainly give WM my strong recommendation to anyone <br /> needing remodeling work that requires a comprehensive plan utilizing multiple <br /> craftsmen and materials. <br />

I wanted to have a beautiful and functional master bathroom, and I thought I was well prepared for the project since I researched and purchased all necessary items, such as fixtures, bathtub, and medicine cabinet. I selected Woodmaster after I interviewed 3 different company representatives since Woodmaster ensured they would provide the excellent products approximately within 4 weeks despite they are located quite far away from our house. In fact, the company co-owner who pitched the job, told us that they planned to expand to our area despite a long distance from the company. The work was completed a lot later than we ever anticipated, and in fact the co-owner never showed up to go-over the finished bathroom until several months after my husband gave negative reviews of their work over the phone with one of the Angie's list representatives. After the initial negative review, I started to deal with the company owner and resolved issues quickly. One of the main areas is that you need to specify in your initial contract every single potential issue, otherwise it will cost a lot more than you thought possible. For example, the city required them to install 2 smoke detectors according to the city code, and they charged us an extra $180 for work that my husband could easily completed in 5 minutes. Another example is that they charged an extra $180 to move the closet light switch to the other side of wall. Due to several minor items as stated, we had to pay additional money that we didn't expect to pay. The finished bathroom is nice, but I didn't rate punctuality & responsiveness as good since it took 8 months to resolve our issues. <br />

We wanted to set the record straight ourselves and provide corrections & clarifications to some of your last statements: The second floor Master Bathroom suite remodeling project was inspected by the City inspector; we think there were acceptable delays to the project: A- as a result of the city’s inspector’s schedule. B- as a result of unforeseen items discovered after the demolition was completed. C- You’re absent during the work Hrs, and particular requests and design changes made by you during the construction project. (which by the way we didn’t charge for). You stated in your review “it took 8 months to resolve our issues” Allow us to correct you the Job was completed on time. the delay in resolving a minor crack in the grout you discovered after the punch list was complete, and a minor touch up on the vanity cabinet finish. was communicated and woodmaster was ready and willing to correct the touch up but it was you were on vacation, unresponsive and your apologies are stated in your emails many emails nevertheless if there were any misunderstandings we apologise. D- You stated there were two $180 extras that you thought were excessive and unexpected. We think that a customers request to move a switch to the other side of a wall after the paint and texture was completed is a very reasonable charge as it required an electrician to make a special trip, it included materials and labor to patch, sand, texture to match primer and paint, you also inaccurately described the $180 extra charge to install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home and per the inspectors request, we think that buy any industry standards, $180 including labor and materials is perfectly reasonable and particularly as it includes a component that customers seem to forget to add which is….. PROFIT. E- Never the less the bathroom master suite is stunning, the finishes are superior and woodmaster delivered a beautiful product, on time and on budget. F- Despite the above, we do hope that after you read this clarification you will accept that woodmaster went over and beyond to satisfy your wishes, that there are items that were beond our control, but the intention was to produce a quality product which sometimes takes longer to produce, we hope that you enjoy the Master Bathroom for many years to come."

Wow, this was a big job. And I decided to take it on pregnant. Talk about nesting in overdrive! Hanan, the owner of Woodmaster Kitchen and Bath, is absolutely wonderful. Working with him has been a pleasure. He is everything you want in a contractor: smart, creative, responsible, organized and HONEST. He also has excellent workers. I am very particular when it comes to my home and Hanan's workers were very impressive. Neat, courteous and hard workers. They do great work. <br /> I started with remodeling my kitchen/laundry room, which involved knocking down a couple of walls and tearing up the tile flooring. Hanan managed to save me a few dollars by reusing some on my cabinets. He also made several cabinets to fit the new space. He went with me to select my tile and stone, which was invaluable. Any questions the sales person had, he was right there to answer. Oh and of course, I didn't find everything I wanted at the first place. With no complaints, Hanan went with me to multiple locations on various days. I wanted high end appliances and Hanan had a contact who saved me over ten thousand dollars on my Viking appliances. <br /> I wanted to turn my kitchen into a great room so Hanan built bookshelves in the adjoining family room to match my kitchen cabinetry. In my family room area, a stone tile was installed along with a big screen TV. We also put hardwood floors down in the kitchen, then stained the floors in the whole house to a new darker color. I was out of my house for a week while this was done. When the job took a few extra days, Hanan offered to pay my hotel bill. But he'd thrown so many extras in to the job, I was happy to cover it myself. <br /> The bathroom had original tile from the 1940s and a small shower. Hanan found a way to fit in a new tub. The new tile I selected only had matching metal bull-nose pieces. Much too modern for my house. Instead, Luis, the foreman, created bull-nose edges out of my tile. Very time consuming and detailed work. I love the final results. In the master bedroom, Hanan redid my old built-ins with new drawers and painted the wood to match. <br /> Lastly, in my backyard, Hanan built a patio enclosure, installed a big screen TV and a gas grill/sink/refrigerator unit and opened up my living room fireplace so that was double-sided. He also covered my old brick chimney with a gorgeous stone. My old patio stone was re-grouted, pressure washed and sealed so that it looked new.

I called Woodmaster Kitchen & Bath after my friend told me about the great job they did with her kitchen last year. I wanted to replace my kitchen cabinets since they were already too old and I wanted a fresh new look. The contractor met with me and gave me an alternative to replacing them, since they were still in very good condition. I ended up refacing the cabinets, costing me 3 times less than it would if I were to replace them. <br /> <br /> My kitchen is now beautiful, and their work was 100% on spot. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

The men arrived Tuesday morning at exactl 8:30 as promised. They walked through the home with me to understand the expectations and desired work. They worked hard for 3 days and did an excellent job. The men were knowledgeable, kind, punctual and very friendly. Their project manager checked in each morning and afternoon as well. They made suggestions that improved the project and were willing to do "extras" if they felt they could accomplish the task in the allotted time. I trusted them completely and even left the home several times to run errands. They prefer cash so be prepared. That is the only "drawback" if you consider it to be so. All in all great work for a great price. Would definitely recommend them and would hire them again in the future.

I re-hired Woodmaster (previously Noy Cabinets) for the second time, (first time in 2004) and their good work made my home value increase dramatically. I was able to rent out the home for a significantly higher amount since the remodeling. <br /> We are still very happy with their job (after so many years the house is still in great shape) and appreciate their frequent follow-up calls and emails. As a person who remodeled over 15 homes in my life, I couldn't recommend a better company to work with than Woodmaster. <br /> <br /> <br />

They did a fantastic job to say the least during the entire process, which ended with a beautiful final result. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient in helping me make my initial decisions (they have a nice showroom as well as a factory right by the showroom) whereby they tailored their work uniquely to fit my personality and needs. The entire process went smoothly and was finished in a timely manner. <br /> I recommended them to some friends of mine who needed their home remodeled, and they were also very satisfied with their services. Their prices are reasonable and I definitely got the quality I paid for and more. <br /> I recommend them to anyone looking to work with warm, caring, and professional people. <br />
