Caleb Appliance Repair

After initial issues with the grandson not showing up, Gary ended up coming out five days later to do the repair on my refrigerator. I am very well pleased with his work and he did it in a timely fashion. He arrived at the quoted time and explained to me the situation about what was going on with the company.

Caleb was professional and knowledgeable, took their time explaining to me what the issue was with my fridge that had broken.

Caleb and his grandfather arrived on time. Took the dryer apart, determined the termostat was bad then checked the plug on the wall. It was found there was a voltage problem for the entire house. Hired an electrician to make repairs. After electric repairs complete called Caleb's main number to get on their schedule. No rtn call. Called third time and was able to get on the calendar for 1000 hrs. 8 Jan 26. Rcvd a call that evening and they had to reschedule to 1400 hrs. same day; Caleb called and said he was running late and would be here at 1500 hrs. Did not show, attempted to contact him 2x and then rcvd a text from Caleb saying he had an emergency call and he could not make it at all on 8 Jan 26. Basically told me the dryer he left in pieces in my home was not important. Told him to forget it we would find someone else. Ended up buying a new dryer because I didn't want to deal w/another contractor. Caleb electric didn't follow up and left us in the lurch...don't hire

They are not very professional when it comes to pricing. Initially, I was told the part would cost $130 and the service fee would be $100. After the work was done, they said the total would be $400. When I questioned it, they reduced the charge to $350, which I ended up paying. It was my mistake not getting the exact quote in writing, but clearer and more transparent pricing would have prevented this confusion.

I found them trustworthy explaining honestly what was wrong with the LG refrigerator that was making a very loud noise. Their responses to my calls were quick as well. We had an issue with an older washer. From what Caleb shared with us, the load would cause a sensor or pin to come loose and that would keep the water from dispensing correctly. He knew exactly how to fix it and had us up and running quickly!
