Xenia Glass & Lock

It was necessary to install a second set of windows for three of the five replacements, Aaron who works for Xenia Glass and Lock checked all the windows the day after the installation and took videos and photos of the windows in question. His work indicated that three of the five window were defective. The young men , Kolton and Hunter Fox completed the project for Xenia Glass and Lock by replacing the ones that were not working properly. Kolton was helpful by explaining how to open/close and clean the windows. He was also helpful in the adjusting blinds for me.

ON 3/20/2018 I HAD CAR TOWED TO XENIA GLASS & LOCK TO CUT AND PROGRAM NEW KEY FOR MY MERCURY COUGAR. THEY CALLED ME TO PICK UP CAR ON 3/21/2018. AFTER THEY PROGRAMMED KEY, THE CAR WOULD NOT START. THE CAR RAN FINE BEFORE KEY REPLACEMENT. BRIAN SAID THAT “SOMETHING ELSE WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR BECAUSE HE IS A PROFESSIONAL - HE HAD BEEN DOING THIS FOR 18 YEARS.” ON 3/22/2018 I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO SELECT AUTO REPAIR AND HAD A DIAGNOSTIC RUN. RODNEY INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS THE ‘PATS’ (PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM) CODES AND SAID IT WAS A KEY RELATED ISSUE AND THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE BECAUSE THEY USED AN AFTERMARKET UNAPPROVED UNOFFICIAL KEY. AFTER CONTACTING XENIA GLASS AND INFORMING BRIAN OF THE DIAGNOSTIC, BRIAN WENT TO SELECT AUTO AND GOT INTO A DISPUTE WITH RODNEY FROM SELECT AUTO REGARDING THE DIAGNOSIS. RODNEY THEN CALLED ME AND TOLD ME TO “GET MY CAR OFF OF HIS LOT IMMEDIATELY OR HE WOULD HAVE IT IMPOUNDED BECAUSE BRIAN CAME THERE AND STARTED AN ARGUMENT WITH HIM AND HE DID NOT WANT TO GET INVOLVED.” ON 3/23/2018 I HAD CAR TOWED BACK TO XENIA GLASS AND ASKED BRIAN TO CUT AND PROGRAM NEW KEY. ON 3/27/2018 BRIAN CUT AND PROGRAMMED SECOND KEY AND THE CAR STILL WOULD NOT START. ON 3/28/2018 I HAD CAR TOWED TO GERMAIN FORD EXPLAINED ISSUES AND THEY STATED THAT THE CAR MUST HAVE OFFICIAL FORD APPROVED AND PROGRAMMED KEYS TO WORK. I HAD THEM ORDER NEW APPROVED KEYS TO CUT AND PROGRAM. GERMAIN FORD ATTEMPTED TO PROGRAM WITH THE APPROVED KEYS AND SOFTWARE, HOWEVER THE CAR STILL WOULD NOT START. THEY RAN SEVERAL DIAGNOSTICS AND DETERMINED THE SAME AS SELECT AUTO REPAIR – IT WAS THE PATS MODULE AND A KEY PROGRAMMING ISSUE. SHAWN CALDWELL FROM GERMAIN FORD INFORMED ME THAT IT IS HIS AND THE TECHNICIAN’S OPINION THAT THE DAMAGE OCCURRED BECAUSE XENIA GLASS PROGRAMED AN UNAPPROVED AND UNOFFICIAL AFTERMARKET KEY WITHOUT OFFICIAL FORD PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE WHICH CORRUPTED THE PATS MODULE. I ASKED THEM TO REPLACE THE PATS MODULE. THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PART AS FORD CONSIDERS THIS PART OBSOLETE DUE TO IT BEING A 2002 MODEL. THE CAR CANNOT BE REPAIRED AND IS CONSIDERED TOTALED AS THE COST TO REPAIR VEHICLE IS MORE THAN VALUE OF CAR. I SPOKE WITH JOHN MARSDEN WITH XENIA GLASS AND WHILE ON THE PHONE HE PUT ME ON BRIEF HOLD AND SPOKE WITH BRIAN. JOHN CAME BACK TO THE PHONE AND SAID TO GET THE DOCUMENTATION FROM GERMAIN FORD AND XENIA GLASS WOULD FILE INSURANCE CLAIM. AFTER I RECEIVED THE DOCUMENTATION I CONTACTED XENIA GLASS AND FORWARDED THE INVOICE FROM GERMAIN FORD TO GET CLAIM GOING. ERIC HOLSTON CALLED ME BACK AND GOT VERY RUDE ACCUSING ME OF JUST TRING TO GET A NEW CAR AND SAID THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR DAMAGES. I TOLD ERIC I WAS NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH HIM THAT WE WOULD LET THE INSURANCE HANDLE IT. ERIC REFUSED TO FILE CLAIM AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME THEIR INSURANCE OR BOND INFORMATION. AS OF THIS POINT THE INCIDENTAL CHARGES RESULTING ARE $697.85 AND STILL NO VEHICLE: $ 56.58 – XENIA GLASS & LOCK - CUT AND PROGRAM NEW KEY $130.00 – SELECT AUTO – TOW AND DIAGNOSTIC ($45.00 TOW + $85.00 DIAGNOSTIC) $155.00 – JOHNSON’S TOWING (3 TOWS) $356.27 – GERMAIN FORD (INVOICE ATTACHED) THE KBB AVERAGE PRIVATE PARTY VALUE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH CORRECT MILEAGE OF MY VEHICLE IS $2,248.00. ESTIMATED TOTAL DAMAGES AT THIS POINT ARE $2945.85. PLUS, TRANPORTATION EXPENSES FOR WORK DUE TO LOSS OF VEHICLE. AS I TOLD THEM, THE CAR RAN BEFORE KEY WAS REPLACED. THE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE IS A DIRECT RESULT OF PROGRAMMING AN UNAPPROVED AND UNOFFICIAL AFTERMARKET KEY WITH UNAPPROVED UNOFFICIAL PROGRAMING SOFTWARE. THE DAMAGED PART IS A CORRUPT ‘PATS’ (PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM) MODULE. I WOULD LIKE TO FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM WITH THEIR BUSINESS INSURANCE.

Everything is fine. Xenia Glass & Lock is great. I even had my next-door neighbor use them and she liked them. I told the condo office if they ever needed anything and the woman in the office said "Oh, I know. We've already used them for stuff in past years." She says she knows they're nice and that they're good. They're great and when I come back home I'm going to have them come out and give me an estimate on sliding doors. Their staff was really nice. Well I got them off of Angie's List and when I called to see about work the word 'integrity' was used. The person in the office was very nice. I happened to make the comment to the man that said, "Hey, I called and I got a really nice person. She says she loves coming to work, so you must have a good company."

Fantastic. Answered the phone late at night, offered to come out immediately if an emergency, arrived on time for appointment, and did a very professional job on site. Highly recommend! <br />

Xenia Glass and Lock came to my home on several repair jobs last year. Good workmanship on all projects, on time and within my budget. Doesn't get better than that.

All of the screens (14) on the porch needed re-screening after 11 years since installation. Although the price quoted seemed about $250 higher than expected, we did go ahead with this company since they offered to take all the screens down, label each screen along with the 4 trim pieces per opening and put the screens back in place. <br /> The work was completed within a week of initial appointment. The overall and quot;Band quot; rating was due to price and screen frames did not seem to fit openings quite as perfectly as before. However, installers did say the screws were placed exactly where screens were previously.

Our existing screens had old wood frames, and the screens could not be repaired without rebuilding the frames. They replaced these with screens with an aluminum frame that can be more easily removed/repaired. We also added pet-resistant screen on the bottom half. Beautiful job, quick and professional. A little more than we wanted to pay, but we had used Xenia Glass and Lock before, and I knew they would do an excellent job.

They did a real professional job. I was satisfied with the windows. I like the people that work for them, they seem to be very confident. The customer service is very good.

They came to my home and gave me a written estimate in late October. After MANY emails over the next month and recalculations on the estimate (because I kept asking for different styles, etc.), I finally decided on the door I wanted and asked to be scheduled for installation. It did take quite a while to get me on their work calendar because they were so busy. I had hoped to have the door in December, before the end of the year, but could not get until Jan 21st. But on that morning (coldest of the season) with windchill below zero! Two guys came and installed the door and replaced threshold and wood trim in just a few hours. They did a beautiful job!

This is the fourth time I've used this company for home improvement -- two other times for windows and once for a porch -- in addition to using them twice for lock changes. I am consistently impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their workmanship. This job was no different. They were here when they said they'd be, they did what was asked for -- the windows look even better than I'd hoped because I wasn't sure how well the trim would turn out -- and they left the place clean and tidy. Everyone I've dealt with is really easy to work with, extremely reliable, and committed to getting the job done right.

Neat and efficient installation. Aaron and his helper, Dave, did a great job of installing the new entry system. They wasted no time and their finished work met all expectations. Price was several hundred dollars less than same system bid elsewhere.

We've used Xenia Glass before, and as always, they showed up to do the work on time. They worked quickly, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after themselves when the job was complete. In this case, the outer door frame needed to be painted (it had been primed already), and they gave me the necessary information about that.

We are pleased with them. They are all business and re-keyed the locks. We keep on using him.
