I am glad I hired the Level engineering and Inspection. My property was damaged substantially due to a deep freeze. The insurance claim adjuster was not helpful and was trying to take an advantage of my ignorance. I do not know anything about architecture. Without their help, I would have never found the actual replacement cost would be over $80,000. I am planning to hire Bryan Conkle again to make sure the work is done correctly and precisely between the replacement of the subfloor and the replacement of the engineered wood floor. Thank you, Bryan, for your great work. You are awesome!

"While we make every effort to provide the absolute best customer service possible, sometimes we cannot meet customer expectations. We coordinated to allow the customer's neighbors and HOA attend our initial verbal consultation and performed a preliminary assessment of his structure and several neighboring structures. We attempted to negotiate with the customer and his neighbors to provide services for multiple units in his HOA. During negotiations the project manager took a vacation. His email auto response stated his vacation dates and a number to call if a customer needed to speak with the company, unfortunately the customer did not call our offices. The engineer responded to the customer's counteroffer as soon as he returned from vacation."

Though we are still awaiting the final drawings for our project, the Engineer was knowledgeable and had some good insights. He was also willing to let us tear into walls and investigate the foundation depth under a load bearing wall on our own and provide photos, etc. which saved some time and money. Pricing was comparable to other companies with the same M.O. They also allowed our initial visit cost to act as the deposit on the final drawings.

I had some cracks in the floor joists that I noticed in the basement and some of them were also warped. Before I repaired them I wanted to know what caused it and were the supports sound. They came in and inspected and showed me what they found and we came up with a plan to monitor and mitigate the beams. I would recommend these people for any structural issues you might have.
