Yard guys & more llc

The Arbor Vitae was cleanly removed, there is no sign it was ever there, before the fence work started. There was a slight scheduling issue but they were able to get out to do the removals before the fence crew started work in that area. The area in which the removals were done was completely cleared and the removed plants were hauled away. The patio and yard were cleaned up and there was no sign of Arbor Vitae ever being in the backyard.

We had a big rock-scaping job including weed barrier fabric under all rock. He estimated 30 yards crushed rock. Some drain work was included and a last minute stepping stone job added (no indication from him it would be a problem). Halfway through he says he needs another 8 yards of rock & more weed barrier. I went for it maintaining a positive attitude. When "finished" I discovered he did not lay fabric under all the rock. Also the stepping stones were so poorly placed they were a hazard to walk on (he did improve them a bit but still hazardous and I couldn't even open my shed door they were placed so high/un-evenly). Ground prep under all the work was woefully insufficient. At the end he admitted: he needed to come back with even more rock because it still wasn't properly covered, he admitted that there were several places they put down rock without the weed barrier (WTH?) and he agreed to make it right, and he admitted they didn't do ground prep as well as they should have. But he would come back first thing Monday with more rock and take care of everything else. I tipped his guys (they did work hard) and I still even tipped him trying to establish a relationship with what I thought was just a young company learning his way and that I could work with him going forward (I have a big yard and am getting older....). I even gave him a Karaoke machine and drink dispenser from my yard sale for his family. Boy was I wrong. Monday comes & goes and nothing. No show and not a word. I have to contact him and he says "had to reschedule, same plan but Friday". Friday comes and goes and you guessed it ..no show no word. Again I have to contact him and its "Oh it was too hot..." I will be back but now I'm going camping so its gonna be over a week until I can get there". Now I'm upset and yup,,,,the 3rd day that he said he would come back to finish/correct the work came and went and again ...not a word. I have to contact him, several times and threaten a lawsuit before he finally replies saying I have unreal expectations??? He admitted to work clearly listed on the contract was not completed and and some done incorrectly. Where's my unrealistic expectations? That I thought the stepping stones shouldn't be hazardous? As ludicrous as that sounds, take it out of the consideration. He woefully underestimated the materials (incompetence? over application to make up for lack of prep work?) and expected me to pay for it, he knowingly had his men put the rock on bare ground in who knows how many areas. None of this can be disputed, he admitted to it. He may have some hard workers on his staff but he cannot be trusted. I will still probably take him to small claims just for the public validation that yes Mike/Raul, what ever your name is, you screwed me. You know it, I know it and anyone that wants to review the facts knows it. I treated you and your guys well and it was''t until you hung me out to dry that my attitude changed. I gave you every chance and you burned every one of them. The only reason its not all F's across the board is you and your guys did show up on the front end, and you did work hard. But you cut me short in a big way. I gave you all the benefit of the doubt and I got screwed. After 3 serious strikes I told him I didn't want him back on my property unannounced and I haven't heard from him since. I feel sorry for his crew.

Everything worked out very well and was quite pleased with the results.

Mike and his guys did a great job. He came and listened to what we wanted to do, then sent us an estimate and when he could do the work. showed up on time on a 100 degree day and finished in 4hrs. Highly recommend.

They seriously dropped the ball after we moved out of town. They started out beautifully, but then neglected to water, and several big and beautiful trees were very damaged and may die from lack of water. They allowed aggressive vines to swallow up bushes in the backyard.

Good. They were a little tardy, but they worked fast and it turned out nice.

We mainly dealt with Mike, who is a nice guy and did everything we asked and more. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them again when we need some yard maintenance.

We interviewed several companies, and I was impressed by Mike. He was very straightforward, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and then discussed several options with me. On the day of the install, he and his team did a great just, and afterwards as he and I discussed the work, he did a good job of going over things with me and explaining how to take care of the yard. Mike is honest, hardworking, and humble, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Installed new front lawn. Scraped old sod, fertilized and laid in new grass. Excellent job, lawn looks great and after 1 week and is starting to blend in nicely. There was a problem with the sprinklers went I first went to use them. Contacted Raul and he was over the same day and straightened it out. So he stands by his work.

Wonderfully, Mike came out before project at no charge to help me prioritize my landscape needs. His crew did a great job. I've hired Yard Guys to perform regular maintenance

My yard looks beautiful.

They took care of everything on my list, plus cleaned my gutters and put one of them back together, removed a plant, moved a plant, cleaned up the fern and turned the mulch in the front yard. My yard looks great. They were professional and efficient. They hauled away everything.

Mike is great to work with as he's very responsive and has great follow through. He and the team deliver high quality service. Definitely give them a call!

GI am so happy with Yard Guys and more LLC! My grass was starting to look very mossy and with no life to it! I remembered that my friend was telling me about Yard Guys and how great they are, so I called them and Mike answered he then came out and did an estimate which the pricing was really good! He then came by the next morning to aerate and fertilize my lawn. It now looks amazing I am happy overall with the experience I had with Yard Guys I will definitely be calling them in the future for any of my lawn needs.
