Working with Lou from Reliable Oil, James did a fantastic job plumbing in a brand new boiler. From planning the job, through installation, to removal of the old boiler / final clean-up (thanks Mike!), the job was top notch!

Excellent work! James was responsive, friendly, professional, and gave great recommendations. His crew worked diligently to get an incredible amount of work done in one day (which was not easy do to in the crawl space under our house.) His quote was less than half of what another company gave us, and James and his crew did an outstanding job. We plan on hiring them again in the future when we need to replace our water heater.

James arrived on time this morning to discuss the required work in the laundry and adjacent powder room.  (Both roomshad been gutted earlier by our contractor. ) He was courteous, personable, and attentive, listening to what my husband explained regarding the projects, and also answering questions and giving suggestions.  James proved himself to be knowledgeable and professional.   <br /> My husband and I agreed that of the three plumbers we had interviewed, we felt most comfortable going forward with having James do the work.  We were not just looking for someone to do a "one shot" job, but rather, we were also interested in finally being able to have a plumber that we could count on for any future plumbing needs. <br /> James returned this afternoon and completed all the work in a timely manner.  He cleaned up after himself, not leaving any debris, and we felt comfortable with the price that he quoted.  <br /> We will definitely recommend him to neighbors and friends. <br /> <br /> <br />

I was away for 2 weeks; for some reason the furnace shut off and the pipes froze.  When I returned the house was 40 deg.  I got the furnace running again and turned on the water (in winter I turn off the power to the well pump just in case something like this happens so the whole house doesn't get ruined).  Immediately I saw a leak downstairs.  Panic!  I called a couple plumbers, but they were busy with other jobs (weather related).  Saw the good reviews of Yorktown Pluming & Heating on Angies List and called them.  James was able to come over in a couple hours, even though it was snowing (we got 6" that day).  He and another fellow repaired 16 leaks in the heating loops and got me back in business.  He charged $185/hr for the two guys plus parts -- very reasonable for the quick response on a snowy day.  I was very impressed.  He asked if I wanted the radiator covers put back on and cleaned up but I asked him to leave them off so I could clean everything (besides, no point in paying for something I could easily do).  I'd recommend James to anyone who needs plumbing work done efficiently and professionally. <br />

James was very professional, on time and the quality of his work was great.He quoted each individual job for us and was very reasonable.  I would highly recommend James and Yorktown Plumbing to to anyone in Westchester.  In an age when you have to keep your fingers crossed with the person a larger company may send to your house its nice to know their are still Guys like James whom you can trust and feel comfortable with. <br />

Don't be confused by imposters with similar names!!!! This plumber is the established, licensed professional who has serviced Westchester for years. James is great. Very Thorough. Detailed everything before beginning the long project so we knew what to expect. He finished the job before the expected date and even called a few days later to ensure everything was working well. <br />
