Pros: Very prompt. Took care to protect carpet and furniture. Thorough and friendly. Made recommendations for approximately $800 of repair work. Cons: Service person took pieces of concrete off the chimney cap to show me the cap was crumbling (I would have preferred he just tell me). Decided not to reuse service only because of my feelings about the chimney cap. He did a great job cleaning the chimney. <br /> . <br />

Everything went well, but received a long list of recommended repairs. Second chimney was swept for extra $79. We later requested a copy of invoice and has not received it to this day. <br />

Showed up on time, did a very thorough inspection (highly focused on safety, almost too much). Cleaned chimney but didn't make much mess. Sent a written inspection report which could have been more polished. But it worked. <br />

Not much - vacuumed chimney and left a disastrous mess in my house. <br />Didn't scrape inside or check from roof like other chimney sweeps we've used in the past. <br />The amount of black soot all over everything was unreal. I almost called him back but figured what would he do. <br />Thought about asking for refund - decided never to use again instead. <br /> <br />

It was very good. They sent one tech and he was at the home for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. He suggested a fix and ordered the part; when it came in, he came back and installed it. I'm very happy with the experience.

It went fine. They sent one tech who was at the home for an hour. He found a crack, so I had him install something to solve the problem. He had to order the part and come back and install the part at a later date.

Smoothly. I gave him a "B" for punctuality because I called him when he was 15 minutes late to see when he'd be at our home. I would have preferred a pro-active phone call but overall he is a professional and knows what he is doing. <br />

Great. Nigel did great work and will have him back again. He installed a heat shield and chimney cap. He also repaired bricks and mortar. He finished the job with water sealer on the outside of the chimney. <br />

The sweep did a great job. He cleaned a fireplace that opens on two sides. He was very careful about taping off the side of the fireplace that would not be accessed to clean the flue. Tarps were laid to prevent spreading of soot, etc. The job took less than an hour. He was also very good about recommending how to clean our gas logs to prevent the buildup of carbon dioxide over time. <br />
