I really hate that I had to leave a bad rating. I will go through both the good and the bad. I decided to call this company based on the amount of good reviews they had. I called a few days before my move and spoke with Seida. He was very friendly and professional over the phone for the initial booking. I booked 2 movers for 2-3 hrs. The day of my scheduled appointment 3 movers showed up. Ok, no big deal. One of the movers mentioned they'd picked him up along the way. They moved quickly and nothing was broken. I did have a couple of pieces of furniture that got scratched, but that's as far as damage went. All of my furniture was not able to get loaded onto the truck, but that is no fault of their own as I was the one who rented the truck. Now, here comes the BAD. All of the furniture in my old location was not coming to my new address. I pointed out the items that were not to be touched to each of the movers. Once the move was complete and my husband walked into the old house, he called to tell me that his Xbox was missing. I immediately sent Seida an email (as it was after business hours) to inquire if one of his movers had taken or possibly even just moved the Xbox. By 10am the next morning, I placed a call to Seida because I had yet to receive a response to my email. He says he did his own "investigation" and that all of the guys had the same story. I proceeded to tell him that I am sure they all had the same story as they were 3 young guys who are all friends and probably wouldn't rat on each other. Seida then proceeds to tell me that he background checks all of his employees an that they all have PS5's amd they play gamrs together so he doesn't think they would steal an xbox. ? He also said that he pays his movers well so there is no need for them to steal. I expressed my displeasure with his response as I don't feel that any of that was relevant to the fact that my husband's Xbox was missing from our home. The Xbox was connected to a TV in the basement of our 3 level townhome that we own and that tv was staying in the townhome, so the Xbox should not have been touched. The person who took the Xbox literally had to disconnect it from the wires that were still plugged into the TV and they took one of the remote controls. After expressing my displeasure to Seida, he said he would do more investigation and call me back by the end of the day. That did not happen. So it seems to me that he has decided to not take this seriously. I have a picture of the 3 movers who completed the job that day (as my original plan was leave to leave a good review before we discovered the missing xbox) and I am going to file a police report since Your Local Moverz has decided not to handle the situation.

The move was quick very efficient, definitely recommend them for everyone!

Who knew moving could be so fun? Thanks to YLM KCMO, our move turned into a hilarious adventure! The movers had us in stitches with their witty jokes and hilarious banter, all while being super efficient and careful with our stuff. They transformed the dreaded task of moving into a comedy show. Kudos to YLM for bringing laughter and laughter along with their moving expertise!

Kyree and his team were amazing. They wrapped all my stuff carefully, and loaded their truck. They are the most upbeat and fun movers I have ever had! Definitely will recommend!!
