Your Preferred Choice

This contractor is HORRIBBLE!!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!! I do not even know where to begin. In 4 weeks time the rooms were only 1/4 of the way done. She hires her friends to do work that are not qualified. They leave the work site a disaster!!! We asked several times when things were going to be done. She would say oh we should have it done by this weekend. She then got arrested on our property. She said it was a misunderstanding. I don't know of a misunderstanding that has you put in handcuffs and took to jail. That night she had a tile guy coming in to help her get finished. He started to inspect the work that was done and refused to touch anything. He walked us through and showed us all the problems. When he was showing us the tiles in one of the bathrooms that had been put up, it came off in his hands. We found out the next day, the lady she had putting up the tiles was a house cleaner. We asked the tile guy if he could fix the work that was done. He stated that everything would have to come down and redone. In both bathrooms we had to have everything stripped out and start fresh. She painted the cabinets the wrong colors not once, not twice, but three times. The cabinets that were put in where not even leveled right. Oh don't get me started on the counter tops. They put the floor down with no protective covering and painting was still needing to be done. When I questioned about it. I was told it was an easy clean up. I asked why the flooring was not fitting right. I was told oh it just needed hammered in. Come to find out they had broke most of the tongue and grooves on it. We had to have more than half of the lvp replaced. We had already spent thousands of dollars on her. She kept asking to be able to fix it. We asked if she had a crew to come in and do the work. She told us that the people she had before would come back in. We were horrified to even think what would happen. We fired her and had to bring in another contractor to redo everything. So now 8 weeks down the road we are just now getting our bathrooms done and work on the kitchen redone. We are now out thousands of dollars more than we should be. The windows purchased were also the wrong ones and they still installed them the wrong way.
