The messy mountain of papers on my desk is reduced by 75% and I'm still working on it.  It was great.  I find it much easier to find things in digital files than on my desk.  I scanned birth certificates, baptism certificates, trust - will - power of attorney documents from various family members, addresses, drivers licenses, passports, tax returns, financial files, medical files, etc. etc.  Evernote has a feature where I can share designated notebooks with our kids.  Now I feel like, if I get hit by a bus, the kids will know where to look for all these things.   <br /> <br /> The only thing that worried me was trusting that all this information will be safe and secure in the Evernote cloud.  Thus, I bought a an external drive and backed up important documents from evernote onto external drive.  Darla agreed that this was a good idea. <br /> <br /> Her time, impetus to get me started and expertise with the software was extremely valuable to me.

In the past 2 years, Darla has organized my entire house. Basement, rooms, kitchen cabinets, porch and garage. Calling her to help me was one of the best decisions I ever made. My house didn't look as bad as HOARDERS, but close to it. I felt overwhelmed and couldn't work on it myself. Darla never judged me. She went right to work, little by little, until my house is now decluttered. I can handle it now and I love it! I have backslid and felt embarrassed to call her again, but she understood. You have never seen someone work as hard as Darla. If you are thinking of an organizer, you will not be disappointed with Darla. She is amazing!

So we started in the garage, (huge job) then moved to the house, starting with my little garden house and basement. Darla and Ruth were amazing, this was at times a dusty and gritty job, but they are not afraid to tackle anything!! My kind of people! Then we continued inside the house, the attic was pretty full of collectibles, antiques and lots of clothing. We took almost all the clothing and some household items in good shape to Goodwill Industries here locally (so far 8 truck loads) but I feel this will do a lot of good for some people. Darla also was kind enough to help with suggesting people for storage/shipment and I found our auctioneer thru her suggestion, and this company is an excellent fit for us!!! What was most amazing, during the last week of organizing my husband had to go to the hospital and shortly after had quadruple bypass, so we suspended our organizing until we got my hubby home again. Words will never be enough to thank Darla for her compassion, caring and consideration during this ordeal. Darla called to see if I and my husband were okay and in need of help. This is going beyond the call of duty in a job, she is a friend and I feel honored to know her. In going thru this process, I can only say, if you need a professional, caring and considerate person to help you thru the maelstrom of organizing, decision making and moving, call on Darla Pompilio at "YOUR TASKS - OUR TIME LLC" both Darla and her side-kick Ruth are expert at what they do, and they WILL get it done. Oh, by the way now that my hubby is on the mend, I will again ask Darla to help me with further organizing to complete our move. Thank you again, Darla and Ruth, looking forward to completing the job with both of you, could not do it without you!! You ladies rock!!!

We achieved our goal!  Our provider served as a guide and encouraged us to make a decision on each and every item. She rolled up her sleeves, got her hands dirty while keeping us on track, and the three hours passed by very quickly. We were more than satisfied.  We not only park our car in the garage now, but we have more room on our storage shelves.

<p>I was amazed at how efficient Darla was.  Working by the hour, she got more done in each hour than most people could do in 2!.  It went very well.  We worked for a set number of hours each of two days and she kept to that schedule.  Arrived promptly and finished when she said she would.  There was no time wasted during the process.  </p> <p>The end result was something to be proud of and a very efficient work space.</p>

<p>Darla was great.  She arrived on time for our sessions and would help me go through whatever room(s) or closets we had decided on for that day.  I do not have a good eye for "what should go where" so she helped me make decisions on where/how to store different items and she also helped me decide on what to keep and what to get rid of or donate (the ultimate decision was mine, of course).  I think what was most important to me was that Darla did not judge me for my messy home and I felt respected by her.  She got to know me and helped me organize my home by what would work best for me and my situation, especially considering that I have a very small home and two young children.  Darla taught me how I can keep my home from getting so unorganized again, and if it does start to get messy, how to get back on track and not get overwhelmed.  I have been able to come up with a few great organizing ideas of my own because of Darla, which I couldn't do before.  I have had many failed attempts at organizing my home myself, and I have read a ton of books on the topic, but now I feel that I can handle it and that it was money very well spent hiring Darla.  I highly recommend her and Your Tasks - Our Time.</p> <p><br /></p>

First, it was a bit painful to go through the process, because inevitably everyone has emotional attachments to stuff. However the crew organized each category of paper I had to go through. I literally sat down and would go through each item and make a decision on what to keep and what to toss. I can tell you I WOULD NEVER have gotten to a point to do this on my own. In the end we created a pile of recycled paper higher than 6 feet. I have plenty of room in my filing cabinets and all the files are now labeled. Additionally, I was interrogated about whether I would keep up the system we had devised. I said no and was highly encouraged to hire an assistant to help me, which I did. I use the word interrogated because they are not just interested in helping to reduce clutter, but to have a working system. <br /> <br /> Once the files were done we took on my parts and tools. Honestly before I hired Your Tasks Our Time, I did not even consider they could help me with my work related stuff. I am an engineer and had closed down a business I ran for a short time and ended up keeping a lot of equipment, electronic, mechanical, optical, electrical wire and cable.  Basically I was resigned this was the curse I had to live with. Turned out to be a much bigger project and I was MUCH MORE emotionally tied to my stuff, however I now have a labeled Bin system for 99% of my parts and tools and plenty of clean horizontal surfaces. And I am on to the next initiative, which is to work with my assistant to sell a lot of equipment I don't think I will use. <br /> <br /> The real problem for me was I knew I had some paper, part or tool somewhere I just couldn't find it. I wasted countless hours for years with this dilemma. NOW everything has a home and I no longer have to waste mental energy looking for things.  <br /> <br /> We are going to use Your Tasks Our Time to tackle our next disaster, which is out garage. I highly recommend their services.

Darla was extremely responsive, professional and very efficient. She is a "take charge" person, in ago is way. Felt all the stress lifted off my shoulders after just our first meeting. Darla and her assistant did a great job for a reasonable price. I no longer dread going into my basement. I would definitely use "Your Tasks - Our Time" again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Darla and Ruth showed up yesterday morning and changed my life!! You know how your house might be (somewhat) tidy on the surface, but behind every cabinet/closet/storage room door, watch out?!? That's my problem exactly. So when I hired them to help me clean up 10+ years of accumulated miscellany in my basement, I had no idea how we would manage it. (Usually, I just stare at the mess for a few minutes, pick up some random thing, get confused, put it back down, and go take a nap.) Fortunately, these ladies knew exactly how to get the job done. In just a few hours we had sorted the entire contents of the room, from pocket screwdrivers to ping-pong table. Darla was excellent at helping me identify what I truly wanted to keep versus the stuff I had been guilt-hoarding and hanging onto "just in case".  They arranged for pick-up of donations, loaded my vehicle with recyclables, brought out the trash, assembled shelving, and organized the entire remaining contents into an orderly, functional, and aesthetically pleasing layout. Boxes labeled, floor vacuumed, 100% done, ten years of stress and baggage gone in the space of a single morning.  <br /> Darla and Ruth are not only mind-bogglingly efficient - they are super sweet and encouraging and really seem committed to helping people get out from under the burden of disorganization. I only wish I'd done this sooner. I feel so much more relaxed and "at home" in my house now that chaos is no longer lurking behind the basement door! <br />

Darla is a professional.  She is personable, pleasant, patient, calm & very organized.  She went  through things quickly, folding clothing or sorting & packing items  according to our wishes.  She listened to questions & responded with suggestions that were nonjudgmental  & comfortable.  Although sorting through personal things accumulated  over many years can be exhausting,  she made it less so by being  positive & patient.  She delivered our donated items to a highly respected charity without charge, & then presented us with IRS viable tax receipts.  She worked with us many times for several months before our move. We highly recommend Darla for organizing & decluttering & packing up any home or workspace. <br />
