Zappa's Lawn Care

These guys plowed our gravel driveway for a couple of years upon request. They did an ok job, but a lot of gravel got pushed down to the bottom of our sloped driveway. They charged $44. This year, I called Mr. Zappa at the beginning of the season and told him that we would like to use their services again, and that I would text him when we needed him. The first time, he sent a sub-contractor to do the driveway. I asked him to also salt the driveway. He left a lot of snow and slush behind, and they charged me $65. The next heavy snowfall happened just as we were headed out of town, and I had him come to clear the driveway for our pet sitter. It snowed smaller amounts during the week we were gone, and Mr. Zappa sent his sub-contractor out twice without me requesting it. When we got back, and I received a bill for three visits, I texted him to say "please don't plow without me requesting it." He made some excuses and said he would not. Shortly after that, I texted him to ask him to plow, and he neither responded nor showed up. We will not be using their services again.

They didn’t do a good job. The driveway area right outside the garage still had snow and iced up. See attached pic. And they charged $65 for one time driveway snow removal And didn’t even do it well. We contacted them and were told they would look into coming back again but didn’t come

<p>1.  Re: the snow plowing, Gene had the contract for a small business we owned.   Unlike previous contractors, Gene's invoices were timely and accurate.   He worked with our schedule, and never let us down when it came to keeping the lot clear and safe for our customers.</p> <p><br /> </p> <p>2.  We had some yard clean up that needed to be done. Edging, leaf removal, etc.  Gene's price was fair and he was pleasant to work with.  </p>

<p>Have fenced yard  to keep animals out one gate or both always left open after services</p> <p>Mowed over 2 sewer drain vent pipes Had to be repaired & replaced</p> <p>mowed with discharge facing flower beds spoiling mulc hetc making hours of work, asked to stop, owner said they woould bag to fix this never did.</p> <p>contrac calls for clearing clipping s froomwalk, cleed they did finialy start doing that after several complaints</p> <p>Weed wacking was only partially done in front and back fences, areas seen by  mos people, coplained but no action</p> <p>Extra was charged to pick up stick in yard at first mow less than 50% done, kept moing over small stuff insead of picking up</p> <p>charged for weed control my yard is many many times orse th neighbors lawn that were never touched,  I doubt is was done</p> <p>I shoudl have hired the kids on the block.  Would not use again</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Employed Zappa's for 2 years until the house was sold. <br /> Service was excellent. <br />

They were very friendly, very very quick. They just did a good job. They were professional and prices were very reasonable. We would use them again if needed.
