When a contractor left me high and dry with a nearly demolished house Zelaya General construction came to the rescue! The foreman and customer liaison Jorge was patient with my fears and distrust of contractors. Throughout the process, he listened to my needs and completed the work exactly as I asked. He also made gentle recommendations for needed work. Without Jorge’s guidance, I would have never gotten through this entire process.

Great company to work with. They were responsive and timely. At the end of the day, they cleaned up and left the area usable until they returned. I had several things to be taken care of and a group came and was like an orchestra working together. Before I knew it all the items on my list had been taken care of.

We had a flood in our basement caused by a water main break. The water backed up from the meter into our finished basement. Zelaya construction repaired the concrete damaged by the water, repaired the wallboard in two rooms that had to be cut away, replaced 4 doors that were damaged, replaced trim in 3 rooms, painted the rooms and selected replacement carpet that matched the previous carpet exactly. Their work was meticulous and they made good suggestions for completing. They finished in the time frame estimated. All the workers were diligent and respectful. By the end of the project, I felt like they were family. I highly recommend this company.

George and his crew did a great job upgrading my basement bath with a new sliding glass tub door and tub/shower fixtures. They also did electrical work in my kitchen, adding a new outlet. They were on time, hard-working, honest, polite, and did exactly what I needed. I feel they went above and beyond & will definitely call them again for future work!

Excellent! Work was done professionally and promptly. Quality and advice were most satisfactory. Very pleasant to have around.

Room looks good when not looking for flaws. Little touch ups never finished. Had to hire another worker to install vents and fix several other things. Patio and wet bar was left dirty from cleaning tools. Floor panels not adhering to floor in some areas. I'm sure I missed other things. On the plus side.George was great to work with. Great communication.
