Everything went really well. Eric came out to walk that yard and talked about all the things that needed to be done.  Within a couple of days I have some mock up pictures of what the new plantings would look like and quote.  He took photos with his phone and has an app that allows him to add the plantings so you can actually see what your house/yard would exactly look like after the planting.  Extremely helpful for someone who can visualize things.  We agreed to everything and set a date of when the work would be done.  Then came the rains and he let me know when he would have to reschedule and always kept me up to date of the schedule.  When they were finally able to do the work I was out of town on business.  Next thing I knew was that there was a big whole in the side of my pool.  They left a message with my nanny and neighbor to have me call them when I land and that they will discuss what happened and how to fix it.  They explained when the landscapers were cutting the weed preventative layer that they slashed the pool.  Eric would replace the pool for free and that they would set it up as well.  Very unexpected but the right thing to do.  He got the pool but was so behind on his landscaping due to the weather that getting around to putting it up would be about 10 days.  Didn't want to wait that long so I suggested I would put it up if he comp me a free fall or spring clean up.  He said sure and that was it.  Wasn't until pool was in my possession did he even ask for payment.  I would use Eric again and I would recommend him to my family and neighbors. <br />

The crew did a good job but Zimmerman was not reliable. For example, saying he'd be there on Monday and not showing up, saying he'd be back in a couple hours and showing up two days later. Also left lots of stone shards in grass that I had to pick out by hand before I could mow the lawn. Also said he'd drop off some polymeric sand which he never did. Eric was a nice guy but he needs to respect his customers better, be more truthful and reliable. <br />

I'm pleased with the way they completed the yard work and with their suggestions.  Scheduling was within a week or two, which was reasonable.

We love the work Zimmerman's did .  Eric sent us pictures of his proposal with prices.  He put together a design of color and easy maintenance.  The landscaping added a great deal to our home.  The balance of plants and bushes with colors that will flourish spring through fall is awesome.  His crew is punctual and thorough.  We had a drainage problem which he took care of also.  The cost of the projects was more than reasonable.  We will have Zimmerman's return this spring to prep our yard for the season and so more in the back. <br />

It was wonderful. They did a great job.

Eric is a very likeable fellow and his crew works hard. I loved the work they did. <br /> HOWEVER ... they did not show up on the scheduled day. His excuse was a good one but I would have appreciated a call. As it was, I ended up calling him. When the work did get under way the next week, he told me at one point, "I have to pick up a couple more stones at the quarry. I'll be back in two hours." He returned three days later. Reliability is not Eric's strong suit. <br /> Then there was the issue of a couple teetering stones in the path that I asked him to correct. And the polymeric sand he was supposed to drop off. Nada on both counts. I had a feeling that once the check exchanged hands, these issues would not be resolved and my intuition proved correct. He did not respond after that. <br /> I have to mention two more things that don't apply to the work itself but do reflect on the issue of professionalism. On the first day, Eric stood out front of the house and berated one of his workers in a very loud and profane manner. I found this alarming and I was embarrassed for the poor man he was yelling at. <br /> When they dropped off the flagstones they put them on the front lawn and afterwards I had to rake a significant amount of stones and debris before I could cut the grass. They should have cleaned up after themselves. <br /> To sum up, the path and steps are beautiful and I am happy with them but I can't say the same for the experience. <br /> <br /> <br />

Eric and his team did a fantastic job! His designs are creative and personalized for the individual home. He is precise in the cost estimate and follows up to address any problems. Eric is wonderful to deal with. His crew is efficient and professional. We will keep using him for spring and summer maintenance and future landscaping projects! <br />

Eric is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He works very hard to make sure his customers are happy. We have used him for a lot of yard projects that require major work and each time he has delivered a great finished result. I look forward to working with him again in the future. Can't say enough about how great his company is! <br />

Great <br />

It started out a bit rough...seemed the workers were generally unsupervised and frankly seemed to care more about completing the task than doing a good-quality job. I explained my issues with the project to Eric and to my surprise he was very attentive to my issues and even ended up reworking the entire raised patio. I truly couldn't have asked for better results. The finished product was absolutely fantastic.

Eric Zimmerman was really great to work with. Based on our description of what we wanted, he came up with a very nice landscape design and provided a photo printout to help us envision what it would look like. He discussed any changes that came up while the work was being done. I appreciated that he was able to work within our budget and able to reuse some of our existing plants and bricks. He and his employees completed a lot of work in a short time and left our property clean when they finished. When we had questions after the work was completed, he stopped by to offer his advice. We are very happy with the result.
