If you’re reading reviews right now and looking to find a contractor for your home remodel, you should seriously consider hiring Oral. You are making a big mistake if you don’t. We hired him for a kitchen remodel to make it more modern, add ventilation and change orientation of island to open the room. We probably interviewed at least 10 contractors and received even more quotes. Oral is extremely punctual, always on time and never off schedule. He is genuine and honest, has great communication and was on site constantly making sure everything was being done right and that the whole operation was running smooth. We had zero issues and zero headaches throughout the process, we actually enjoyed it and had fun; what more could you want out of a renovation? Most people have problems with contractors, but if you want to be happy and have a seamless experience then you should stop looking and contact Oral immediately.

Oral and his team did an amazing job of completing 2 unfinished rooms in my basement. The project was completed under reasonable budget and with utmost professionalism. The work was completed within time and no issues. I would really recommend Oral for home projects. Excellent workmanship and service to build a full bathroom in the basement. Oral Aydogdu and his team are working tirelessly to complete the project on time His estimate is pretty fair as compared to others. His materials used in this project are top quality. Oral is very nice to work with and he addresses all questions and concerns you may have from start to finish. After the job is completed his crews removed all trashes and cleaned up the entire floor as well as power washed the driveway and front porch. His work and performance go beyond my expectations. I would recommend his company to anybody who needs home improvement. Keep up the good job Oral.

My goal was to take a half bath remove two hallway closets to make a handicap bathroom on the main floor this was a very complicated job duck work moved on the main floor and reconfiguring the basement utility room

I work with and have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and I must say: Oral and his team are as good as it gets. The whole experience is honestly different... in a good way. He came out with his team and provided an incredible price and an incredible timeframe (along with a detailed 3D rendering, which my wife really loved). I'd admit I was skeptical but to say they performed would be an understatement. Oral takes pride in his work, doesn't compromise and and communicates like you want a contractor to communicate. He/They solve problems (without constantly pointing them out) but are sure to communicate thoroughly and efficiently along the way. I can't speak for any other types of project (I'm sure they're great there also) but, when it comes to kitchens, with their connections from cabinets to tops/stone (he did tour us through their cutting facility), I'm not sure I could recommend them more highly, and am! It went great! Crew was pleasant to work with, good price. It did take a little longer than expected but good attention to detail.

The bathroom turned out beautifully. From the start, I was listened to, and my requests were honored. Communication was strong.

The kitchen came out GREAT! Not only was the finished product great, but so was the the overall experience. From picking out the cabinets, and counters, to the project work, Oral made sure everything was taken care of. He took the time to make sure we were happy with the work the project team was doing and took care of any concerns immediately. From experiences with other contractors who do not take this approach to project management, it is greatly appreciated and should not be undervalued! I cannot say enough how beautiful the kitchen turned out! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The guys at Z and O Construction did a really nice job of replacing my back deck! The company owner, Oral Aydogdu, was very knowledgeable and helpful when explaining the work to be done. His Crew Chief, a gentleman named Lazarov, was a real master at building and fabricating things, and each of the guys on the crew was a solid professional. It was a pleasure having them around, watching them work, and learning some of their tricks and techniques for doing things! These guys did a beautiful job of replacing my deck, and bringing it up to current Fairfax County codes. This new deck is much better and stronger than the old deck was, and should last for many years!

The effort made to construct the new yard deck that I described I wanted was fantastic. Every design I wished for was completed in a professional effort, in the time stipulated and in an unbelievable manner. If I find a future requirement I will no doubt contract this contractor.

This is a high end, well run operation at a reasonable price. The project started and ended on time and our POC, Oral, was literally available at all times for any questions or concerns. He provided the right mix of offering design and technical expertise and listening to our feedback of specifics we wanted. Halfway through the project we already started enlisting them for other projects! This will definitely be our go to company for future construction.

Oral and his crew did such an incredible job on our deck/screened in porch remodel. From the very beginning Oral communicated well and was very patient as we went through all of the decisions. As far as the install, Oral communicated throughout and checked in all the time to make sure we were happy with the progress. A couple of times we noticed something we wanted done a bit differently and it was handled the very next day. I cannot recommend Oral enough as he cares so much about his clients, and the work he performs. We are so thrilled with the project and would 100% use Oral again and again.

Oral and his team at Z+O were absolutely outstanding to work with and we are very happy with the remodel. Z+O fully demolished and remodeled two full baths and replace the floor of a third half bath. They were extremely fast and completed the work in two weeks, about one week per bathroom. There are a few things that made us appreciate the work: (1) Oral walked us through the options for picking out tiles, fixtures, vanities, vanity tops, and paint. We had some ideas of what we wanted but did not know 100% and so it was incredibly helpful to have Oral walk us through and recommend matching components. (2) The Z+O crew themselves, German and Jose, are phenomenal at their trade. Not only does the final remodel look great, they did many small details such as moving light fixtures up so mirrors fit better, shifting a drain line slightly so a vanity lined up better, and relocating a GFCI outlet to a better location as a part of the package. These things take time and effort and we were not charged extra for the work, it was just included as a part of the overall effort. Finally, (3) Z+O was super easy to communicate with. Oral was super responsive to several small change requests we made as well as keeping us up-to-date on timelines. We'd absolutely hire Z+O again for other remodel work. Thank you Oral and Z+O!

Very friendly and easy to work with! Removed old walls, added insulation, repaired the uneven subfloor and replaced everything else. We picked out fixtures, tile and countertop in their showroom and the work began soon thereafter, and was completed quickly. They accommodated our schedule too, pausing work while we hosted holiday guests. They also repaired the window frame in the lavatory and replaced the water shutoff valve for us! Very reasonable price for the high quality materials and work. We’ll likely hire them again.

What a great company to work with from start to finish for a total bathroom remodel. Their quote was vey reasonable compared to a bunch of others I received. Oral and his team did an outstanding job and the tile work was meticulous. Great communication and extremely responsive. The contractor was extremely accommodating, finding way to fulfill my requests. He employees top-notch craftsman, especially the tile guy. Whenever I would call or leave a message, she would respond very quickly.

My experience with Oral and Z&O was exceptional. I replaced a rotten deck with new 450 sq ft construction using Trex products. Their foreman was outstanding and knew exactly what he was doing. Great guys to have in my backyard for a few weeks. We had a late modification, which was dealt with politely and professionally. Give Z&O the opportunity to bid on your projects. You’ll get a quote that’s fair to both parties, which is a rarity nowadays.

Very happy with the work done by Z&O. They removed and replaced my old deck in a timely manner and for a reasonable price (in comparison to other estimates I'd obtained) - their quote included a TREX package deal. The owner, Oral, and his work crew were all easy to work with and did a great job.

They did an excellent job. They were very thorough in their work and paid attention to every detail. We are very pleased with the outcome and would use them again.

We needed to have the entire Living floor of our townhouse remodeled. We already had purchased new cabinets for our kitchen. We just needed somebody to remove all of the old stuff in the kitchen and install the new stuff including flooring, cabinets, appliances and lighting. At the same time, we also needed some cabinets installed in the adjacent family room/breakfast nook and office space, fix/replace the flooring thoughout the entire floor and install counters. We found a few potential contractors through Angi but decided on Z and O because the were able to give us one price for all of the work, materials included. The price was competitive, and the timeline was very quick. The entire job took 4 weeks from beginning to end, for a total of 15-17 work days. The crew for the work arrived at a reasonable hour every morning (8a) and worked until 6-7p, Mon-Fri and the occasional Saturday. They sealed off the rest of the house but we still had access through a series of "airlocks". There was no collateral damage to the house. Our Project Manager, Oral Aydogdu, was a pleasure to work with. Very charming and personable, very attentive and very knowledgeable and very responsive to any concern or issue we raised. He was out at our job almost everyday, overseeing our project and coordinated all of the different aspects of the different materials fabrication (including countertops) and installation. When we decided to get our deck replaced in the middle of the kitchen reno, he was able to provide that service as well at a very reasonable price. Once we had agreed on a price, they had a crew out here within a couple of days, the materials were dropped in our driveway, the demo was done in a day, and the new deck was installed in three more days. And did I forget to mention the more than reasonable price? I highly recommend that you consider Z and O Construction if you have a renovation or any other kind of project. Our experience was excellent, and we wouldn't hesitate to consider them again for any other project that we might consider contracting out.
