A & J Contractors was established in 1969 and is family owned and operated. You will always reach a member of the family when calling. We are a women owned business with offices in Bucks County and Delaware County. We are authorized applicators for GAF, Johns Manville, Firestone and Soprema, among others. A & J Contractors specializes in residential roofing, siding, gutters, chimney work and waterproofing. We have two repair crews on call 24-hours a day. If youre in need any roofing repairs or a new roof wed love to work with you in meeting your needs. We have a skillfully trained work force and the most modern equipment to enable us to properly handle any roofing application. Our crewmen are continually informed and comply with all of OSHAs current safety requirements. Our applicators are certified by the manufacturer to install their roof systems. In our thirty-five years we have gained a tremendous amount of experience as a company that is committed to putting the customer first. We believe customer satisfaction is not an objective, but our responsibility. As a family owned and operated business you can always reach a member of the family. Our name is on the line everyday and we take a great deal of pride in standing behind it.

The job ended up very nice but be careful of your quote. Ask lots of questions and make sure EVERYTHING is included, they tried to get us for a lot of extra money which Debbie ended up working it out with us. All in all the roof looks great, Debbie always got back to me extremely quick and answered all of my questions and they got done in an extremely timely manner.

A&J Contractors did a great job on our roof. They were on time and finished the entire job in two days. I have seen other roofing jobs in the neighborhood drag on for weeks. Deb Donnelly was very helpful. When a previously undiscovered problem came up under one of the secondary roof areas she worked with us to minimize the extra cost and kept the job close to the estimated price. The foreman on our Job, Tom, was absolutely great as well, keeping close watch on the work crew and handling any issues on the job site quickly and cheerfully. I've heard from neighbors that most jobsite foreman usually disappear to other jobs and only make sporadic brief appearances at each site. Tom was there for the duration and we appreciated this very much. I would give AJ Roofing my whole-hearted recommendation and have done so to people in my neighborhood. Good job. Sincerely,

We shopped around a bit before deciding on A&J and I couldn't be happier! I am so happy with our new gutters. It was refreshing to have someone so knowledgeable about roofing a gutters come out and talk to me about the house. I felt no pressure to buy like I did with other gutter companies. I was not home when they came by to actually install the gutters, but even my next door neighbor raved about how polite and professional the installers were. They were done quickly and there wasn't a spec of debris left after they cleaned up. I would highly reccomend them in thefuture.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend A&J Contractors (aka Donnelly Roofing). I strongly urge that you not trust them. They backed out of their initial bid and asked for substantially more money. With their promise of complete satisfaction, we reluctantly agreed. A three day job turned into nearly six weeks. They made several very serious mistakes and their workmanship was initially very sloppy. The only nice thing I can say is that they eventually fired the first foreman and replaced him with someone very competent (but rarely available).

It was a pleasure having A&J do business at my home. They were friendly, kind on time and very efficient. They were a little higher than some of the other estimates but they offered warranty and their workmanship was well worth the cost. When comparing apples to apples they were the best deal. Thanks A&J

Requested 2' x 3' skylight to be installed in bathroom with shaft built to ceiling. A&J installed a 19" by 33" skylight which was too small for $1500. Then removed and re-installed a 2' x 3' skylight for another $1200. So I got a 2' x 3' skylight for $2700., or 50% over budget.
