He provided me with a plan to fix a collapsed fireplace hearth. We had a little hard time communication on what needed to be done. But he eventually got a plan that worked. The way he works, and perhaps everyone doing this kind of thing was that we had to pay him before seeing the plan. I guess this makes sense, as the plan was the sole deliverable item. His plan involved having a welder make a suppport. We hired the welder and he was able to build as the plan showed.

Knowledgable. His analysis turned out to be quite correct about the foundation of our house, which he made from my verbal description. I had expected an examination of the area under the house in the crawl space but he didn't make it. I don't know if this was due due hte routine nature of my complaint or the fact that area was difficult to get to and he turned up in a suit. Still, his analysis was correct, so I have no issue with his work.

Mr. Gutt arrived ontime. The inspection seemed a bit light, but given Mr. Gutt's explanation, the problem was exposed, and he didn't need an invasive inspection. That said, he was friendly and willing to answer all of our questions. We received our report with his seal in about a week, and it satisfies everything we were looking for. This will save us a lot of money and heartache by avoiding unnecessary repairs.

Mr. Gut was very professional and personal at the same time. He knows his business well and was able to assure me that my property was structurally sound and safe within minutes. He suggested some steps to take in the future to preserve the soundness of my structure and I followed his recommendations.

Very helpful, professional and affordable

This was a very professional and competent company. Their work was high quality, thorough, and complete. Their conclusions in the letter of assessment was pivital in getting the previous contractor to concede liability for shoddy work in the construction of my collapsed retaining wall and the contractor settled with me out of court for $15,000.

Mr Gutt responded to my request in one day, I made an appointment and he visited job site next day. He was very knowledgable of the project I wanted to do and offered other options. After a thorough inspection and going over all the options given to me, we decided on the best way to proceed. Mr. Gutt drew up blue prints in just a few days and also made an on site visit to go over the plans with me to make sure I understood everything specified in his plans. Currently waiting on a permit from the city, but so far everything from Mr. Gutt has been exceptional. Definately would reccomend him to others.
