I love this family-owned business. There isn’t any mystery for why they’ve been in business for decades. They offer help for old-school technology needs as well as up-to-the-minute computer program technology needs. I have gone to them for both my push-start car needs as well as when I need something for my chipped-key cars. They love a challenge, strange-stuff-happenening type situation and will even call other associates if they can’t figure it out right away themselves. There’s no “sorry, can’t do it” here. I will drive from Livonia (passing probably 8 locksmiths on my way) because they are that good and a pleasure to patronize as well. If you value family-owned businesses, give them a call. I have a feeling you’ll be one of their newest (and very satisfied) customers. Both store-front and mobile services offered.

The locksmith was extremely nice and professional. He did a great job, and he even tightened the hinges on my door, which he didn't have to do. The only issue I had was that when I scheduled the appointment and talked to the owner on 2 occasions, she never mentioned a service call charge. I asked her if they are able to come out this far, and I was told yes, but I never thought about a service call charge, and it was never mentioned. Otherwise, I would recommend them highly, they did a great job! The locksmith was a real nice guy!

We were extremely satisfied and Alex did a great job! He actually came a bit before the appointed time, but waited till it was the exact appt time that we had set up. Alex installed what we had agreed upon, under the quoted price, and also installed another piece of hardware that we were unsure would work out, but he did a great job and everything was perfect. He also double and triple checked his work to make sure all was in working order. We couldn't have been more pleased. I have some additional lock work needed in the near future and will definitely be calling Blue Star.

Someone called me right away, and offered a way for me to take care of the problem by bringing the lock into the shop for re-keying. I plan to do that in the next week.

They not only did the work I requested, which was re-keying the locks, but they went over and above and got all the locks in the doors of my new house working properly at no extra charge.
