Blown In Insulation Install or Upgrade
Things did not go as planned. I was told the insulation would be blown in from the outside, that a piece of siding would be removed and the walls would then be filled. While I was getting an estmated , which took about and hour, from Absolute I informed them that the siding was steel. It was after we hired this company and they started that I was informed that the insulation would not be finished because steel siding is not flexible and would be harder to remove. I have no idea even which walls indeed have the insulation.

We discussed leak sealing, baffle installation, and exhaust fan duct insulating per the information that I found on EnergyStar.gov over the phone and Clint gave me a quote subject to review after looking at the job. Clint came out and we agreed that the quote was for the work I wanted, and because I didn't want to have my house door open when it was cold out, he came the very next day because it was going to be in the mid-50s. He and his helper did everything that makes leak sealing and adding insulation a quality and complete job. His price was the lowest quoted and included the most work. You can't go wrong with Clint.

Blown In Insulation Install or Upgrade
they were an hour late which kind of threw my boyfriend off schdule for the morning and also it took 2 hours instead of 1/2 hour. so as planning the day thinking they'd be done at 9:30 a.m. instead of noon was rather inconvienent. but they did a very good job, it took longer because of some venting problems, they did the work properly instead of ignoring it to stay on the time schedule which i appreciate so i'd recommend them again.
