We met with a number of contractors and decided upon Accent Contracting to put in both a fence and deck. The owner was knowledgeable, used only quality materials and pricing was competitive. The crew worked diligently. A couple weather/rain issues held up the timeline a bit. All in all we're pleased with the quality and are enjoying the new deck.

Did not receive the work promised and that I paid for. I paid for a patio much larger and flower boxes and did not get it. The garden paver border in the front of the house was good but not the agreed upon color. I asked for a color that matched the existing stairs. I am very disappointed in the work that was done. The workers left the remaining yard messy and left unused stones laying around. The owner did not care enough to come to the site to see or approve of the finished work. I would not recommend this company to anyone I know.

Great looking deck...reasonable price...good communication...Nathan was very knowledgeable about local building codes and helped us spot and avoid difficulties! Their turn around time was fantastic! Our friends and family have complimented us on our deck, and we will recommend Accent to anyone building a deck.

Excellent customer service, and great communication. Explained everything, and walked me through step by step.

Nathan listened and made recommendations during our initial meeting for the project to ensure a quality finished product that I was looking for. He suggested where I could go to view the many options in materials and provided me an address of where they were currently doing a similar project. I visited the location to see the quality of their work which was excellent. I visited the lumber shop to view my options and selected them. The work that has been completed is excellent and as I requested. The 2 MAJOR problems that Accent has is communication with the customer and scheduling. If you want to contact the contractor, you have to leave a message and then get a return call or leave an e-mail that takes two or three days to be answered. The project was scheduled to start on the 16th of July but did not start until the 27 with a total of 6 date changes during this period. Admittedly, some of the aforementioned may be due to the small size of my project and the busy season. With the exception of the scheduling and communication problems, I am pleased with this contractor.

The owner (Nate) was very responsive and listened carefully to what we wanted from the onset of the project through completion. The workmanship on the deck was amazing and it turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with our decision to use Accent. Overall, Accent delivered on their committments and were in constant communication with us throughout the process. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Nate, the owner, was very professional at our first meeting. He asked the right questions and gave us some ideas as to his recommendations. He walked us through the whole process of building our deck from getting the HOA approval, permitting with the County and standing behind his workers. We will pass his name to our friends and neighbors. Look forward to having him create our back yard retreat!!!
