Accent Windows

20 years later, the windows have been largely fine. The double-hung have all required replacement of their balance mechanisms, covered by warranty. The new ones are a re-design, so hopefully more durable. Accent windows was fine, and actually very accommodating. The window manufacturer, Alside, is a little bit difficult to get ahold of for customer service. They have an online warranty site, which isn't terribly intuitive, and some snafus had to be sorted out via phone calls (again, very difficult to make contact via phone). But ultimately, they sent the necessary parts. The warranty does NOT include labor to install new parts, by the way. You have to figure it out yourself. I did visit the Accent Windows office locally and was able to get some coaching from their team on how to replace parts for a double-hung window.

Great service and company, from start to finish and very reasonable. Windows are so gorgeous and such high quality...exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate one second to refer this local Colorado company to anyone interested in windows. The project included an egress window that subcontracted a company and performed the job without much inconvenience or mess. Our basement windows have made such a difference in functionality and look.
