Water Heater Installation and Replacement
The piping from the hot water heater to the furnance was installed in front of the furnance filter door. This prevented access to the furnace filter. Then it was connected from the hot water heater to the furnance above the filter door, again in FRONT of the furnance. Piping from the hot water heater to the furnance should be installed BEHIND the furnance NOT in front of the furnance!!! Had I been home I would have insisted that the piping be installed BEHIND the furnance.
