From the moment I spoke to the Person who set up the apoinment, I received the wrong information ( there was a trip charge). The two people that arrived, the technician was doing a good job, until the 2nd person out of the blue told me that they were not going to fix the unit....he wanted to sell me a new unit for 5k. Then back track ( The unit all it needed was freon). They won't see me again.

This service was the first to respond and sent somebody out the same day. Their service call rate was quite fair. The technician properly diagnosed the heat pump issue as having 2 bad capacitors (starting and running), 1 bad contactor, and both compressors as shorted to ground. The service and service rate earned 5 stars. The repair estimate of 3,600.00 was lower than the estimate I received from a competitor (4,000.00). However, the cost to replace the system was estimated at 10,000.00 dollars which was 3,600.00 more than a competitor that ultimately got the job for replacing the our 13.5 y/o Trane 19 SEER system with a new 16 SEER Trane System. Value for the money would be higher if the replacement cost system were estimated at or near the same price as the competitor. To be fair, estimates provided were not shared between any of the 3 service contractors that were given the opportunity to troubleshoot, estimate repair, and/or estimate replacement.

the technitian very professional and knowledgeable but when I asked for price they only mention service charge $49 but no mention of cost per hour that was $99 and cost came up to $149, if I have known this in advance I would have shopping more.
