Background: My first floor bathroom is leaking into my basement bathroom. The leak is coming from the shower. The ceiling in the basement bathroom is wet. Everyone who looks at it agrees that in order to determine where the leak is coming from, the ceiling has to be cut open. I spoke with the individual on the phone and we agreed to a plan. He would come out, charge $80 for a service fee, cut the ceiling open, try to determine where the leak was and fix it if he could in that time. He came in, did some checks in the shower, applied about six inches of caulking, covering only one of the several holes/cracks in the caulking and said I could use the shower in two hours. I asked him to cut the hole as had been previously discussed and he was hesitant for some reason, apparently assuming that what he did would fix the problem and no further investigation would be necessary. I explained to him that the drywall would have to be replaced anyway and I want to be able to see if the shower still leaks to determine where the leak is coming from. He cut out about a 6X6 block of the ceiling, but not enough to see where all the leakage is coming from. He charged me $110 which isn't excessive, but is more than what he and other people quoted for the same service (and I went with him because he was one of the cheaper ones). I didn't understand what he wrote on the invoice; his writing was not legible. I signed it and paid him, but I'm disappointed. I will have to pay someone else to cut the other area of the ceiling that shows evidence of moisture because I can't see that area from the hole he cut and it's obvious from the positioning that all of the leakage is not coming from that one area. Thank you for the opportunity to share this information; I'll make sure to look at these ratings before I select a contractor. I didn't do any research on this company before choosing; I won't make that mistake again.

I needed my bathroom sink snaked and a toilet replaced. After 90 minutes of work, I was told that they couldn't get the snake through and that they'd need to remove the sheetrock and cut the pipe to investigate further. They wouldn't give me an estimate as to how long that would take so I asked them to just replace the toilet. The toilet install was 30 minutes and was done well. He cut 30 minutes off the total cost which was nice. However, he left a mess and as I was cleaning up, I turned the sink faucet on and noticed he had not tightened the pipes so water started leaking out. He came back to fix it but didn't apologize for the screw-up.

Great price, great work. On time, high level of expertise. They made sure I was happy throughout the process, asked some clarifying questions and even took out my old concrete utility tub happilyit was very heavy. They cleaned up everything and gave lots of helpful information. I can't say enough about how happy I was with their work and their professionalism. They were very nice as well.

Called one minute after I hung up with the Service Magic person. Advised me how I could fix the problem myself and told me to call back if that didn't work. Thankfully it did. Greatly appreciate them giving actual useful advice that I didn't find on the internet, and I appreciate them not insisting on coming out and making a save. Will certainly call them again in the future.

Very easy to talk to, patiently listened to my problems with water pressure, gave ideas for possible causes. Quoted a very reasonable price. Scheduled a convenient time for us. Next, Mike came within the scheduled window time, despite bad weather. Called ahead to notify was on his way. Very pleasant & professional, quickly diagnosed the problem. Was great around our temperamental cat. Fixed everything within 30 min. Offered to check water heater too. Highly recommend All Plumbing, esp. Mike; definitely would use services again

Would recommend All Plumbing. They were fair and prices were reasonable. Fixed a problem that others were not able to.

Work was professional, and recommended a new sump pump, which I ended up installing. One thing I though could have been better is to give a written estimate. They were not able to do so since this was the first installation they did of this kind, and instead of taking 2 hours, it took them 3. They still cost me less than the Plumbing Dr, almost 1/2 the cost. I would recommend them and use them again.

Technician was punctual, courtesy and knew what he was doing. He could have charged more by replacing Sump pump but was honest and said it only needed to be cleaned thereby saving us money. I would highly recommend.

They installed a new utility sink. They were patient with my obvious plumbing ignorance even when it meant they had to do more then I originally described. They completely the job in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Thanks.

The individual who provided the estimate did not adequately examine the problem area, and did not communicate the specifics of the job to the plumber who came on site, adding over one hour to the time on the job (not paid for). Secondly, the plumber who arrived to do the work ended up breaking a pipe in such a way that an entire soapstone washtub will require replacement (at an extreme cost and inconvenience) rather than the original simple job. I will never use this company again, and would never recommend them to anyone. There has been no follow-up call from the company apologizing for our inconvenience, which is beyond unprofessional.

He was late the first day, so we reschedule for the next day. He came on time for the second day and did a great job and fast. Good rates.
